Came here through a recommendation of a friend and glad we did! We heard this spot fills out so coming into the city late, we came for a late night dinner and were able to be seated within 10-15 minutes (and it was still packed in there). Von's is conveniently located in downtown seattle, which was walkable from our hotel. They have an extensive cocktail and liquor menu so we took advantage of the bourbon sampler and I got their bloody mary. From Wisconsin, I'm a tough critic with my bloody's and this one had the like brininess but not the saviorness. Would try another drink next time. For food, we got the damn good wings, the pasta, and the cioppino. Star of the show was hands down the pasta. Creamy, large portion size and tasted very good. The wings has a sweeter sauce than I was expecting but the wing size is good.

Came in yesterday and had a great Fig prosciutto and Arugula pizza, wings and a dirty martini... great recommendations from our server, the atmosphere was great in the terms of the restaurant and the music they had going on. Plus the bar wall filled with millions of liquor bottles which was a really memorable place. The restaurant was at a tourist-y spot near by Union. (as expected) it was pricey for the food I got. Service was fast, but from what it seems, there is a policy for food being served in under 15 minutes from when you order or else your meal is free!! I decided to test it out and see if it was true... In fact it was true. It took exactly 14 minutes 34.46 seconds HAHA
This is my 4th time dining at this location and I absolutely adore the spot. Despite it being a popular and a touristy gem, the food and service I've experienced has always been great. The pastas and drinks is where they really stand out. They no longer use a reservation system and it's first come first serve. The bar if you're over 21 is the best place to get seated quickly. Typical wait time is 1hr and less than 25min off peak meal times. Pizza was just ok but the burger was solid. Will come back - great location and great food.
I'd heard about Von's from a couple of folks and decided to try this one in downtown Seattle, and it did surprise me. Great ambience, seating, prompt service and right next to Pike market. Tried their pasta and it was absolutely delicious. So flavorful and decent quantity too. Highly recommend this place, if you're interested in trying their pasta, that they make in-house!
A really fun spot to grab a bite! The interior is very much giving pub, but with a slightly elevated flair. The atmosphere was super lively and the staff was amazing! I had come here with a mission: to try their famed sourdough pasta! The waiter recommended their Tuscan Chicken which we got along with the Spicy "Rigs." Everything was phenomenal! The pasta was perfect, their sauces were so decadent, and the portions were plentiful. Love! No notes!

Drinks: I ordered the espresso martini and it was delicious! Food: We shared the macho salad, lil pep pizza, and Tellicherry Chicken And Smoked Gouda pasta. Honestly all were delicious we couldn't pick a favorite. It's a super cool spot with plenty of indoor seating and some outside too. The vibe is really cool indoors I love the bar display and moody lighting. It's also cool to see the giant tubs of pasta as that's their specialty and clearly it's extremely fresh.
Will be back to try their happy hour! I came here on a Wednesday night (party of 2) and was seated within 5 minutes. We ordered the Pork Confit Fries and Wood Oven Roasted Wild Mushroom flatbread! The flatbread was much larger than I expected! I enjoyed both dishes! The fries were crispy and the pork was tender. The flatbread was so fresh and cheesy. We don't eat a lot so we had leftovers and the flatbread was still delicious the next day! I will be back to try their happy hour (I believe it's 2-6pm everyday) or their local special from 11-2pm (weekdays)!

The service was fantastic, we were checked on all the time and our server was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the lemon shrimp pasta, and my friend the mac and four cheeses with chicken. He also got a rum and coke, and I had a delicious mocktail: their watermelon NoMosa. I'd recommend everything we tried! It was delicious and I thought the portions were perfect. I loved the mix of the cheese and capers in my dish. The shrimp was done perfectly and was so flavorful. It is lively in there but I'd say it's one step up from a traditional "sports bar". A very fun space.
This place is so good! They are located near the waterfront and is a great spot for lunch and dinner. We came around lunch time for their weekday deal, which is 25% off with your WA driver's license. They were already really busy but we were able to get seated in their heated patio outside with no wait. We got the cherry bomb pizza and tuscan chicken pasta to share between the two of us, which was just the right amount of food with a bit of leftovers. The pasta was al dente and the sauce was so flavorful! I loved the sundried tomatoes and generous pieces of chicken. The pizza was also extremely delicious - the sausage pieces were so savory and juicy and the crust was nicely crisp. I am a sourdough lover so knowing that was their specialty here was even more enticing. Definitely recommend this spot for locals and tourists!
The food here is incredible! The pasta is perfectly cooked and the flavors are rich. The prices are very fair--- especially for the generous portions. They offer a little something for everyone (vegetarian and vegan friendly). They also have a nice local discount for those with a washington drivers license. It's only during week days I believe. The staff is also very prompt and super kind! The restaurant itself is pretty cozy and has the perfect vibe for pizza and beer. Low lighting, wood, Neon lights. Will definitely be back sometime! Only warning, Parking is hard! But that's pretty standard for the location. Expect to go to a garage
After attending a Mariner's game, we needed to grab some food. It took me awhile to load up the ramp and my husband's motorized scooter and by the time I did that, it was late. Thankfully Von's could help us out! We ordered a couple things (pizza and a chicken cutlet sandwich). While I waited for the pick-up order, I enjoyed a very nice Lemon Drop martini. Everyone there was kind, even though we placed our order so late. When we're back in Seattle, we will definitely gone then another try and I will get pictures of their tasty food.
A packed place! Can be tough to get a seat. It's a bustling and vibrant place. They have a deep library of spirits and cocktails to make it worth the wait. The staff seemed pretty overwhelmed with large crowds, so we did incur some medium wait times, but nothing worth complaining about. I thought my dish (Nashville Chicken Sando) was excellent. However, my fiancée believes her Fish and Chips left something to be desired. My only complaint is this place takes it upon themselves to add "junk fees" in addition to up charges on sides that weren't explained to us. I'm not saying they're overly expensive over market, but these things felt disingenuous and less-than-transparent until after the check was paid on their mobile POS device.

We're visiting Seattle from L.A. to celebrate my birthday and we were looking for a really good dinner within walking distance of our hotel. After a brief search, Von's 1000 Spirits came up. As I am a pasta and pizza whore, we decided to walk down there. And am I glad we did! Walking in, the atmosphere is super-busy and bustling, with the kitchen right in front of you to the left, and a long, rather narrow bar and tables on the right. There literally IS a wall of 1000 spirits to the right and it's quite impressive. Despite not having a reservation, we were greeted and seated in less than 5 minutes, and were lucky enough to snag a corner table on the right, which afforded us a view of The Harbor Steps. Our waitress promptly arrived and took our orders and she was very pleasant and helpful. We decided on the Burrata Baguette, the Lemon Garlic Prawn pasta and the Chicken Pasta. All the sourdough pasta is made in-house from a 75-year-old starter recipe, and the portions are very generous. Boyfriend really enjoyed his pasta, the sauce was velvety and delicious, and my prawns was large and juicy, and the sauce was nice and light, accented by briny capers and sweet grape tomatoes. The baguette was hot, crispy and absolutely delicious as a conduit for the creamy buratta cheese and drizzled pesto. We had more than enough to take back to our hotel for a second meal. A great dining experience!! read more

Vons is always a worthwhile visit, but it's especially fun when you get to bring someone for their first time. It's a whole experience and offers something rare, a team of employees who genuinely seem to enjoy interacting and guests that are having just as much fun. I've never been to Von's and not made friends with people seated nearby and this was no different. We went in as two, left with three new friends. We tried calamari, pasta dishes, salad, sandwiches, fries, and several different drinks. All delicious. All unforgettable. read more

Went here when a soccer game was about to play, so you can imagine the wait time without a reservation! Nevertheless, I'm glad I got to finally try this place. Got the calamari, bolognese, and burger. Calamari was well seasoned, but the pieces are tiny. I got the bolognese because it said fresh sourdough pasta. I didn't think it was too special after tasting it.. The burger could've used a bit more seasoning. 4 stars for calamari and 3.5 for pasta and burger. Service was pretty good, and jt is nice they have TVs if you wanna tune in to sports while you're there. The bar area is a vibe, but I didn't sit around that area. read more

Great spot for good food and great drinks. The Smoked Oak & Cherry Manhattan was very tasty! Kala was our server and she was wonderful . **Not even with just us, every table she was working we could hear her amazing customer service.*** Appreciate you Kala!! We got the Tuscan Chicken Pasta and the Lil Pep pizza. Both were super delicious and would get again. The atmosphere is good for groups, friends and family! Great happy hour spot too! Sooo good! Been on my bucket list to try for a while and so glad I was able to. We came here on a sunny Saturday afternoon and got seated right away. We were able to sit at the outdoor patio. It was very relaxing and awesome views. It was happy hour when we went, and ordered off the happy hour menu. The drinks were good and strong lol. We also got a burger and pizza off the happy hour menu. Both were pretty solid. Very good flavors all around. Only complaints are the sauce distribution for the pizza was inconsistent and the burger was pretty soggy on the bottom. Fries were great though. Service was excellent. Our server was very friendly and knowledge. I'd come back again for sure. read more
Von's 1000 Spirits was at the top of my list for Seattle must-try's, and I'd recommend the same for other visitors for the delicious homemade sourdough pasta as well as a broad menu that's sure to have something everyone will like. We were seated for lunch in what I think is the event space, so not typical seating for this restaurant. Our table was near a large party, so most of our meal was pretty loud. However, we also had a corner spot with an amazing view of the Seattle Art Museum, and overall it felt relatively peaceful. Jonathan was an excellent server and took great care of us throughout our stay. Do ask about the HH specials if you are there between 2-6, as you can get some good deals on cocktails, as well as the Beecher's mac and cheese, and a few other dishes. Aside from the HH menu, you can get a good price on Manhattans and martinis at any time, and while the specialty Huckleberry Bramble was great, they do make a damn fine martini here. We savored the Spicy Rigs pasta but sadly did not have room for more. I feel pretty safe saying that next time we return to Seattle, we'll be coming back to Von's to try more of their menu. read more

Some friends recommended we come here and I'm so glad we did!! It was really cool to see the sourdough pasta being made fresh right when you walk in. Since it was our first time, David, our server, had a lot of great recommendations and was super helpful! I ended up ordering the Original Mac and 4 Cheeses pasta, and OMG!! This has to be one of the greatest mac n' cheeses I've ever tried!! I couldn't finish it all in one sitting, so I took the rest to go, and honestly it tasted just as amazing later on when I finished it at home. I would definitely come back and try more of the menu options :) read more
Came back again a year later, and omg wow! Food is just as amazing as last time, and I ventured to try different dishes too!! Love their sourdough pasta. Loved even more their seafood stew. And love that they stay open pretty late (most places close ~9pm). Vons 1000 is a Seattle-must! read more

I ordered takeout dinner from Von's 1000 Spirits in Seattle and I was honestly really excited to try it because I've heard a lot of hype about this place. I got the Tuscan chicken pasta and waited about 15-20 minutes for it. When I say it was good... it was a 10/10 for me. Super flavorful, creamy, and just really well done overall. Definitely one of those meals that makes you want to come back and try more dishes. The ambiance inside (and even what I could see outside) felt really lively. It seems like a popular spot with a good energy, like people are actually enjoying being there and not just eating and leaving. Overall, I would definitely go back. Next time I want to sit down and try something different on the menu. read more

The best food in Seattle, but the service is a total coin flip. This has been my favorite spot for food quality since 2022, but I always hesitate to bring guests here because the service is so inconsistent. The Food (10/10): The sourdough pasta has a great texture. My absolute go-to is the Original Mac and 4 Cheeses ($25) with added Braised Pork ($5.50). It's an artisan twist on a classic. The jalapeño and pork give it a subtle Mexican vibe that cuts through the richness. I also highly recommend the Spiced Fig, Prosciutto, and Arugula Pizza ($26). The sourdough crust is excellent, and the arugula/fig combo creates that perfect sweet-and-salty balance that feels surprisingly fresh. The Service (Hit or Miss): Unfortunately, the hospitality doesn't always match the kitchen. I brought my family here once, and our server seemed to be having the worst day of their life and decided to take it out on us. It was uncomfortable enough that the food couldn't save the experience. They still remember it as a bad meal. I still come back for the food, but it does make me hesitate before bringing guests. Pro-Tips: * Local Perk: They offer a 25% discount during weekday lunch if you have a Washington State ID. * Hidden Fee: Keep an eye on the fine print. Came here with some coworkers for a lunch during the week. This place was packed and full of fun lively chatter. We all tried a lot of dishes so we could see what was on the menu. I personally got the burger and fries and their fries were so salty and perfect with the burger. The burger was also super thick and delicious! The menu has such a variety of things from seafood, to pasta, to pizza, to bar food! This is a good place to go if you're not quite sure what you want for lunch because you're bound to see something on the menu you'll like! Vibes, Food, Location, Ambiance... everything was fantastic! I've always wanted to try sourdough pasta and pizza because that is literally my favorite type of bread, so when on business trip, I found this place close to my hotel that sells those, and sure enough I had to come try!! Tellicherry Chicken and smoked gouda pasta $28 - 9/10 - omg their pasta is handcrafted and you can tell by each shape and how they are not all even, which gives it its charm. the garlic, creamy sauce coats so well in the pasta and the chicken was delicious and juicy. the individual pasta noodles are chewy, a little thick, but pairs so well with the sauce Quatre Viande (4 Meat) $26 1000/10 - yeah, I can never have regular pizza ever again. the crisp on this pizza was on point and the sauce was bold with good tomato flavor. They drizzled oil on top and that made it super juicy with each bite. Skillet Cookie ($14) 8.5/10 - you really cant go wrong with a good pazookie. Warm cookie with a cold vanilla scoop, perf way to end a meal. Thanks to the amazing staff for this! we were waiting a while for our cocktail and they gave us a free dessert to make up for it This might have been one of my favorite restaurants I've had in Seattle, def a restaurant I don't mind coming back to on my next trip! read more
With the World Cup coming to Seattle I was worried about the crowds near here, but my friend was optimistic. Luckily we were able to do bar seating outside. Despite how busy it was, we didn't have to wait too long to be served. I finally decided on the Prawn dish they have after looking at the many delicious sounding options on their menu. I was so pleased by the dish! The flavoring was great with the right amount of zest and sweetness of the sauce! I also wanted to point out how nice our waitress was as we she was very friendly and were able to connect about some stuff during our interactions. Von's has been repeated several times by referral from many colleagues of mine. I've heard so many raves and reviews about it numerously yet this was my first experience trying it out with a group of colleagues I've hung out with and wanted to keep the chemistry going. Von's is conveniently located in Downtown Seattle at 1225 1st Avenue. Me a a few others visited during early dinner hours, perfect setting for a relaxing time to end the day. Our friendly server introduced himself and pointed out that Happy Hour runs until 6pm. Maybe have the table order from the HH Menu, while the other half ordered from the regular menu. Highly recommend trying out anything that has sourdough in it whether it's pizza, pasta, or just bread on the side. They are known for their sourdough as it is made fresh daily. I ordered the Spicy Fennel Meatballs with Lusty Lady Marinara. On my next visit, I would like to try the Best Classic Hamburger and french fries and skip an appetizer. Von's also has martinis for $7.99! While we didn't drive from our hotel to the restaurant, they don't have designated parking, but there is lot of parking nearby. Street parking around the area and a bunch of parking garages around downtown Seattle. Ride share it back if you've had a few extra adult bevy's. Overall, a wonderful spot for great food, drinks, and views, also great customer service. For now, Food was 4 out of 5. Service I'd give 5 out of 5. Atmosphere also 4 out of 5. read more

We decided to eat at the bar and within 10 mins we were called that a table was ready. We ordered 2 drinks, the chicken cutlet sandwich, a side caesar salad, and the chicken and Gouda pasta. YUM. This old family sourdough starter makes incredible pizza and pasta! We were very appreciative of being able to sit together with a large group and no reservation. Was so excited to fit this into our itinerary from all the good reviews on yelp...pretty disappointed when trying this out. I love sourdough everything but the sourdough pizza wasn't anything special. We tried the meatballs and the bang bang chicken and neither was that amazing. My husband would give this a 2-star but idk, i guess I'm more generous and think they're just average overall. Wouldn't recommend though...and would be nice if the floor wasn't slippery greasy too. read more

This was one of the most disappointing takeout experiences I've had in Seattle. I ordered the Spicy Fennel Meatballs and paid extra to add provolone cheese. The receipt clearly shows that I paid for the provolone, so I reasonably expected it to be melted on top of the meatballs. Instead, the cheese was tossed into a separate container, which completely changed the dish and defeated the purpose of paying for the add-on. Unfortunately, that wasn't the biggest problem. While eating the meatballs, I bit into what appeared to be a charred piece of wood that was mixed into the marinara sauce. It was hard enough that I immediately stopped eating because I was concerned about damaging a tooth. Needless to say, the meal was ruined. I took a photo of the object. To make matters worse, the hostess who handed me my order acted as though I was inconveniencing her. There was no greeting, no friendliness, and the interaction felt cold and annoyed. Incorrectly prepared food is frustrating. Finding what appears to be a foreign object in the food is unacceptable. Combined with poor customer service, this was a very disappointing experience, and I won't be returning. read more

Both the food and drinks here were absolutely fabulous. Love the atmosphere inside and our waiter was so fun and friendly. The broccoli with hummus was fantastic and full of flavor. We enjoyed the homemade pasta as well. Definitely worth the wait to stop by this restaurant. read more

Yes! It's a good size restaurant and I saw kids there when we were there.
Do they have a bar that they serve dinner at?
Yes. The place is quite crowded at peak hours so the bar may be your best option if you have no reservation. It is first come, first served for seats at the bar.

probably not sitting at the bar but it is a restaurant so the tables would be fine for minors

No they do not, they don't have a retail license for that
Does this restaurant have wheelchair accessibility?
There are 2 wheelchair accessable doors to the left of the front door. 1 side door enters to the rightside of the front desk, and the 2nd door on the side which enters into the larger back dinning room which has more room for wheelchair seating. .
