Visited the 5th Avenue Theatre to see the tour of Chicago. What a surprisingly nice theatre! I was not expecting the Chinese theme, and found myself looking at the very detailed decorations in the lobby and the theatre. The seats were comfortable as far as theatres go, and getting in and out was easy. Restroom access before the show was also not a problem. During Chicago there was a lady in row L using her phone to film key scenes. It was very obvious and distracting, and I was hoping ushers would get her to stop, but they did not.

A beautiful theater downtown Seattle with lots of space, spacious seating, and perfect for Broadway shows. The service is friendly and they had drink options as well. We sat in center balcony and could see the stage perfectly. The sound quality was great as well. Can't wait to catch another show here soon.

This is a very good theatre, it's small so there isn't a bad seat in the house. I saw the Tony Award winning play Parade; it was outstanding. I highly recommend this play and theatre.

What a magical evening at 5th Avenue! The Mary Poppins show was fabulous and captured your heart and attention. We enjoyed some refreshments before the show (Rice Krispie treats and Baileys on the rocks). Both yummy! What somewhat detracted from our experience was the accessibility options. Someone in our group recently had surgery and needed the elevator to access our seats. You must be escorted to the elevators and they are back outside and halfway down the block. That was not ideal. The staff at every step of the way were lovely, knowledgeable and upbeat. Overall, a wonderful establishment to enjoy the arts!

Gorgeous theater in a nice area. Updated restrooms. Theater seats are comfortable and there is plenty of room so you don't feel packed in like some of the other historic theaters.

Beautiful! Also with your tickets, you can get free wine at participating restaurants. I went to Bombo for their house wine. Got access to the lounge which is usually available to patrons who donate $5k or more. Lounge had pics of the costume sketches and the model of the stage as well as pie recipes on each table because of Waitress the play. Got the Mexican chocolate pie slice and the Marionberry with hazelnut pie slice. I liked the chocolate one better because it was less sweet.

WOWWW!! I didn't know watching a show out of Broadway New York. This venue was fantastic. Very welcoming staff. Asian themed theatre wind hand crafted woodwork and decoration. Watched White Christmas here and i wish i could watch it over and over again. They serve drinks and snacks as well. But the theatre was jam packed didn't get any chance to purchase something.

Looks like a bunch of Seattle Children's Hospital rockstar!

What a fun, historic place to come and visit. I went here for a little team bonding with my coworkers to see the play Clue. It was so much fun, that was the second show, some of the pictures are from the first show I attended, called Somethings Afoot. We had great seats, the show was amazing and the place was immaculate, yes, including the restrooms. Throughout the year, the 5th Ave Theatre has many shows to enjoy with friends or family. I highly recommend going to go see a play at 5th Avenue , you won't be disappointed!

Amazing local theater with an array of different shows to bring theatrical / musical talent to Seattle.

My wife and I are season ticket holders and really enjoy our nights out to the 5th. The theatre itself is beautiful, and I prefer the seating and set up to other comparable theaters in the area such as the Paramount. The 5th does a wide variety of shows and brings some excellent talent to the stage. I will say that while very good, the touring shows at the Paramount do hit a higher bar for their performances.

What a beautiful, amazing venue to see true performing arts. I attended a preview of Waitress! It was amazing, we sat in the front row of the left balcony and had amazing seats. Everything was easily seen, easily heard, and clear. We enjoyed the show so much, we are already looking for our next show. The staff were spectacular, we were greeted going in as our tickets were scanned, then we made our way up the stairs to the mezzanine level. As we found our way to the aisle, we waited for them to open them up the seats. As we walked up the steps we were greeted and shown where our seats would be. We placed our items on a railing and were kindly informed we could not do so, never once felt uncomfortable with the staff. Everyone was super kind. I will be back to see more shows, it was truly a perfect evening.

They send a text message to arrive an hour early then leave patrons standing in the foyer waiting for an hour! TERRIBLE!

The venue is stunning -- full of majestic arches, ornate architectural details, elegant balconies, and a grand old-theater atmosphere that immediately makes the evening feel special. Even before the performance starts, you already feel like you're having a real night out rather than just attending a show. The massive multi-tiered seating area is very impressive, yet the acoustics still felt excellent and immersive throughout the performance. One thing we especially enjoyed was spending time outside beforehand looking through the illuminated displays and posters for upcoming productions. It really builds anticipation and adds to the magical atmosphere of the evening. Whether you are seeing Phantom of the Opera or another performance, the Paramount feels like one of those classic theaters that turns an event into a memorable experience.

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst theater etiquette experiences I've ever had. During the first act, a man seated behind us repeatedly sang along during the performance. When I politely asked him to stop, the person next to him sarcastically pointed at the stage and said, "The show is over there," while the behavior continued. Around us, multiple people talked throughout songs and scenes, and later in the evening I even saw someone openly filming the show on an iPhone. I eventually had to leave my seats (Main Floor 2, Row G) and speak to management because the disruptions were so bad I couldn't focus on the performance. The only solution offered was seats in the very back of the orchestra. By that point, the experience was already frustrating enough that it took a while to calm down and enjoy the show again. What's most disappointing is that this is the SECOND time I've experienced terrible audience behavior at this theater. I previously saw Back to the Future here and dealt with nonstop talking during that performance too. I attend theater regularly in Southern California at Segerstrom Center for the Arts and also frequently see shows in New York City. Ushers there actively monitor audience behavior and quickly shut down disruptions. At the Paramount, it felt completely unmanaged. For the prices being charged -- around $350 for my tickets through Ticketmaster -- audience members should not have to deal with talking, singing, and filming throughout a Broadway performance. Amazing production. Extremely disappointing theater management and audience control.

Staff who work at Benaroya are always friendly and helpful. From ticket takers, door greeter, even the ones selling you snacks and drinks. Only negative I have to say about this place, is if you're selling us three dollar cups to bring inside auditorium, then add cup holders to your seats so we don't have to carry the cup the entire concert. I refuse to place my cup on the floor.
