Being used to some of the best comedy clubs in Los Angeles, and sometimes disappointed when traveling and finding lesser venues, I was absolutely blown away by this place. And the customer service is unmatched. I snagged tickets in advance of my travel. As the date got close, I was notified that the original comedian was unable to perform. There was a backup, Georgia Comstock, who was going to fill in. I was given the option of rescheduling at no cost, though I explained that I was arriving from out of town and that date was the only one I had available. I asked how far in advance of showtime the line starts to form, since I had hoped to get front row center. The possibility of being picked on is part of the fun. Apparently in Spokane just a few minutes is fine. When we arrived I was surprised to find they had reserved a spot for us exactly where I had hoped! Very impressive! The venue itself was a proper club with comfortable seating. The servers were great, and even the standard two-item per person minimum was merely a "suggestion." I easily exceed that anyway, but I was amazed at how accommodating they were. Even though it doesn't relate to the venue, Georgia was absolutely hysterical. We were dying! Had such a great time! I honestly couldn't imagine seeing anyone else there. Will definitely book again next time I'm in town!

The talent that comes to this venue is pretty dang awesome. I've got NO complaints about the shows or the comics. The venue itself is also pretty nice. Audio is good and ambiance is casual. Food is pretty pedestrian, not exceptional but this is by no means a food venue so haute cuisine is not expected. My beef is the service. I no longer drink alcohol and my wife does not usually drink more than one or two drinks. As such, we tend to get completely ignored. It takes longer to get our drinks & food and our dirty plates just sit and sit. Worst part of all, is the refills. I usually order a diet soda which according to their menu comes with TWO refills. Each time I've asked for the second refill, I've been told I have to buy another soda! By my math, this means the original glass full of soda then 2 more. The server has twice argued over the 2nd refill!! We've spent $150-200 for VIP tickets 4 times this year and have two more shows to go--these cheapskates want to argue over $.40 worth of brown bubbly water? It's insane that this is the hill they've chosen to fight over. We saw JP Sears there last night and I was gobsmacked that our server was so petty!

Solid food, great drinks! Had the red wagon special and it packs a punch. Saw Ralph Barbosa and he made my laugh so hard I cried my eyeliner off. Wait staff was on top of it and provided awesome service

Had a fun get out which is sooooo nice after being hidden away with Covid. We had free tickets and were able to come see some great comics. Seating is very easy and there's not really a bad seat in the house since it's a small cozy type performing room. They offer drinks, snacks, and kitchen food which is nice, because you can make this a full date night type of thing. Gave 3 stars because the drinks are expensive (your at a club/bar so of course) but they're not good.. very weak and almost watered down or very sugary.

What kind of precautions are being taken for Covid?

We went in late January and they took temperature at the door, seating was spaced and capacity reduced, and if your party was only two then no one else was seated at your table.

Is there only 1 comedy club in spokane?

Yes. Spokane Comedy Club on Sprague. There are some bars that have comedy at times, you can find them in the Inlander.

Wife and I are going to have our 1st anniversary and im interested . The dAte is the 3rd of September. Are there rated nights as well ? Ron and Brandy prim

This is the Myles Weber show. Not sure what you mean by rated. I prefer to the 8 pm show. Highly recommend the premium seats $16 for this show. Very close to comedians which is fantastic. Happy anniversary

Most community theatre productions I have seen are geared towards family and friends of the performers with a mix of talented thespians and enthusiastic, if weaker, performers doing what they love. The Civic does not fall into this mold. Without a doubt, this is community theatre of the highest quality. Boasting two stages: a large traditional "main stage" and a "black box" theatre downstairs, Spokane Civic Theatre produces a mix of traditional productions such as "Hello Dolly" or "White Christmas" to offbeat shows such as "Rocky Horror Show" or "Putnam County." The theatre itself is beautiful and the modest size creates a very intimate atmosphere with each production. Ticket prices are very reasonable. I've seen the show on Broadway and in San Fransisco and I think this production rivals those. Kudos to the board for bringing on a great director and music director for this musical and to the men and women of Spokane (and surrounding areas) for sharing their gifted voices with us. Community engagement and social mission are baked into the crust. Stage Left puts their (your) money where their (your?) mouth is in terms of diverting portions of ticket sales to local causes, and they have a land-lease arrangement with one of the local tribes. They are a progressive theatre, no doubt, and wear their politics proudly on their sleeve. Still, with the production I saw I was delighted to see politics riding shotgun to art and stagecraft; highly politicized subject matter was treated with more nuance and thoughtfulness than I was expecting frankly. It's a small theater so all the seats are good seats. Sound, lighting, and set design were very nice! The acting was almost universally awesome and actors seemed both very well-rehearsed and highly skilled in delivery. Prices are reasonable at $25 for weekend shows; it's a great night out and a solid value. Cheaper tickets are available during the week as well. You can buy beer and wine in the lobby to bring into the theater, alongside some other snacky sundries. The theater is downtown in one of the more distressed areas, so feel free to walk in pairs and not leave a bunch of tempting stuff visible in your vehicle.

Only one controller for each at last visit but they may have more behind the bar. These are the mini "plug and play" systems they put out around 2017 or so that were hugely popular around Xmas time and sold out everywhere. They have the boxing game where you smack the punching bag as hard as you can and get a number value assigned to the relative mightiness of your fist. Number display is whack though so it's tough to see what you actually got. Still, at $0.50 a great value to get out some nontoxic playdough masculinity. They've got the Arcade Super Off-road which is a fucking classic and a must play. Also featuring a decent air hockey table and an excellent basketball game.
