I don't frequent movie theaters because I find them uncomfortable and I have young children. we decided to see Coco Christmas Day with my 4 year old. It was such a lovely experience! The ticket attendant was so friendly and made my daughter feel so special and excited for her first movie theater experience. The seats were large, sofa style with recliners. Very spacious and comfortable. My daughter had a phenomenal experience! The only reason for the negative star, is the fact we booked online and reserved seats. But when we arrived we were told seats aren't reserved in our theater. Was confused and disappointed with the reserving option or lack thereof. read more

The downtown location alone makes this movie theater worth four stars, especially given there aren't any other options. It's also conveniently located on the third floor of River Park Square where there is shopping and nearby restaurants. The theater has some very nice recliner seats. read more

We have a pretty severe dairy allergy, and the popcorn salt here contains dairy cross contamination which could be a problem. However, a staff member offered to make us a batch with no salt so we can be safe. It made us feel great that we can trust this AMC with our allergies, they also have Gluten Free snacks as well, that are sealed so there is not cross contamination. This place has an option for everyone, from dairy to wheat allergies. The staff here is very friendly and this is now my favorite place to view films! This is more of a serious bitch instead of a review. We all know that this is a great place to watch movies. Near the end of Dec my wife and I were going to go see a movie. I have been getting tickets from AMC website. I made a mistake on the date we wanted to go see the movie. I had to go back and cancel it and get new tickets. The problem is that they have to refund the tickets to your bank. So it's been 2 months with no refund. I have emails from them saying the refund will process soon ect. But nothing. I have been ripped off. I know theaters are not doing really great nowadays but they must be doing really bad if they have to rip off a senior couple. read more

This theater appears to have everything: awesome recliners, plenty of food options, etc. However, they sold us seats in row A and the entire movie we were stuck craning our necks to view a completely distorted picture. My head was pounding and my eyes crossed ten minutes in. There were no other seats available to switch to and the management said they could do nothing. Best theater in all of Spokane and Coeur d'Alene combined! My wife and I were getting the A-list passes, so we could watch up to 3 movies per week together. We loved how we could see Imax, Dolby Cinema or 3D movies and there was no extra charge, like Regal makes you pay. The seats are excellent recliners in all the theaters except the IMAX, which has standard seats, and Dolby Cinema because you can't get the footrest to come up all the way like the other rooms. The picture and sound are top of the line. Crystal clear both visually and sonically. The service is exceptional. A few times we had issues with the app or a movie we'd started was terrible, and they always had a great quick-and-easy solution for us. Since we had the A-list, they don't charge for online ticket purchases, either. read more

This theater is very conveniently located on the third floor of the downtown mall, putting it close to restaurants and other stores. This makes it ideal for date nights for my girlfriend and I and we love coming to this location for the reclining seats. The staff is also very friendly and always accommodates. read more

I have seen multiple movies here and could not ask for a better place. I have been about $2 plenty of times here and almost everyone working in the AMC movie ticket booth or the concession stands tend to use their own workers discount or some kind of discount just so I can see a movie or eat. Horrible experience here. In theatre 1 where there about 30 seats and got stuck in the front row where you end up staring straight up at the screen which was distiorted because of the extreme angle. Would have rated it zero if I could. Whoever designed this theatre is insane. Never again here. No wonder no one wants to see movies in theatres these days. Sad.... read more

Had a good experience with the cleanliness of the theater and politeness of staff, but at concessions I ordered a cheese pizza, and watched the guy take a pepperoni pizza out of the plastic with his bare hands, unwashed after touching my money, and then look at the girl working and saying I asked for cheese, and she told him to just pick the pepperoni pieces off, (I tried to say I was fine with the pepperonis but he didn't hear) and he proceeded to take the pepperoni off WITH HIS UNWASHED HANDS!!! Disgusting. I will most likely not get concessions from here again. read more

The movie was great but the new seats are horrible. They're faux leather with heated seats, had to keep standing up to cool down. Also if you have any kind of neck problems and wear glass you can't use the recliner unless you plan on laying all the way down then the bottom of your glasses are in your vision. There's absolutely no neck/head support, had a headache by the time the movie was over. If (and that's a big if) I were to go back I would make sure I bought a back aisle seat so I didn't disturb the people behind/around me as much. it's my hubby Birthday so I took him out to see a movie Zootopia Great movie recommend it to all ages. The ending is not what I expected in fact I would have enjoyed them playing out what I figured was going to happen. But it was a twist which in fact did catch me off guard. we live an hour away from the Theater once arrived we had found out that u must choose the seats that u want and personally I do not like the seating that is smack in front of a screen. we had made a decision of waiting an hr to catch a different times so we could have better seats. hour past we head to our seats. I had scouted out and saw that. Our seats where take by a woman and her 6 kids. I wasn't in the mood to cause a seen of kicking this woman and her kids out of our seat. so we sat at the seats below people started to come in and I whispered to my bf if people say we are in their seat we are obligated to move. which I would have. without a fight. and the. we would have been forced to kick this woman and her kids out of our seats and It would have made us look like a bunch of "excuse my language" ass holes. But what upset me the most was of the way that she went about it. When my mom was still alive she had always taught us kids wait till people sit if they are not a couple ask them of you could trade their seating so you could be close to family. But in this case she had taken our seats without thinking about weather or not they would be claimed, we had told her they where In our seats she said this is where her kids wanted to sit at. I told my hubby I'm not in the mood to argue so whatever. (AMC theater staff) they make you choose your sitting should at least follow through with where people sit). I'm not a bitch i don't mind if I'm alone letting a family sit together In fact that's awesome. and I would move. if the seats are by the bloody sceeen and I'm waiting for hours to get a good sit plus the fact I have a long drive plz don't expect me to move. read more

I absolutely LOVE having an employee raise her voice/make a scene and use an accusing tone over a bag of candy. I'm so beyond pissed at this experience I can barely keep my composure. I selected a bag of candy, set it DIRECTLY in front of the agent. She scanned my premiere rewards card that was NEXT to the candy, ordered a drink and popcorn as well. Pay, walk to the butter only to have her flailing her arms after me. Then has an accusing tone stating that I never showed her the candy or said that I wanted it. Never mind that we were at a kiosk that didn't have anything on the counter. Where the hell else did the candy come from? I was the only person, who the hell else would it belong to? Making enough of a scene that every worker looked over as well as other guests. Absolutely effing ridiculous. Train your effing employee to verify the whole order or to go about it in a much better fashion. read more

The lady working the front desk was extremely nice. However, we just drove 2 hours to take our daughter (on the autism spectrum) to the advertised sensory friendly movie - clearly stated on the website as showing today. I clicked the sensory friendly link and purchased tickets online only to be told there were no showings today. We were excited to see our first movie as a family. What a big let down. You need to fix your website and/or live up to the promise of what I purchased. Don't claim to be autism friendly if you can't live up to it. read more

On a recent visit I had some time to catch an early matinee on a Saturday. The theater layout to a first time visitor can be a bit confusing. On the lower level is the box office which I bypassed buying my tickets online. AMC Prime members get ticket fees waived and all seats here are reserved. My show was on the top floor that has 2 levels for the theaters themselves that includes an IMAX & DOLBY CINEMA. In my case I went to see a small art house film and I was its sole occupant, kind of like having your own private screening. All the seats are fully reclining with ample room between rows. Another review said the seats are heated and I'm going to have to disagree on that. The seats are grouped in pairs where the armrests will go up if you have a companion. The only downside wasn't really with the theater but the mall parking isn't free and even with a dollar validation it cost $6 when I left after being there 3 hours. They appear to get several exclusives to Spokane and overall recommend the theater read more

The online ticketing service is a joke. I am so disappointed that it is not easier to cancel tickets when you buy them in advance. I just spent 30 minutes on hold when I called 888 440 4262. I never got through. I'm hopeful that the local theatre will honor their promise to give me passes for a different movie because I was unable to get a refund. read more

This is an amazing movie theater for Spokane! I don't like how much it now cost to go an see a movie with prices reaching as much as $16.50 for one movie. Also some of the employees are not happy, and that takes out some of the magic of going to see a movie! Also, concessions are really expensive! The chairs are nice because they are recliner, however it sometimes feels like you are overheating, and feeling as if you are about to slide out of the chair if you sit up. I love how clean this theater is compared to regal. The Dolby Theater is spectacular however some shots feel as if the screen id out of focus and can mess with your eyes, but the sound is amazing! I also love the recliner chairs in the Dolby theater. The IMAX is behind style when it comes to the seats however it is the same price. I do love the IMAX tho, it has never disappointed me. With saying that I am disappointed with the employee who cleans the IMAX 3D glasses, they are sometimes nasty. This theater is in s great part of town. Recommend seeing a movie at least once in the Dolby Theater, it looks like a bat cave! read more
