This is my first visit to theatre, and I am highly impressed. The theatre has leather reclining seats, and features a bar. The bar was not open for business during my visit. The concession lines are rather long, but moves along at a steady pace. I may have found a new favorite movie theatre. read more

They don't have a self serve kiosks which makes lines for tickets long. The recliner seats are available for select screens.

I mostly go see movies at this location because it is close to my home. The upgrades are good. I tore my dress there a while back so I like the new reclining seats. I noticed the last two times I went there that one of the seats at the back (I can't remember if it is in 5 or 6 hopefully not both) is not working properly. One would think they would have fixed that because everyone doesn't want to recline all the time. read more

From now on, I will go see ALL movies here. What a very cool, comfortable and convenient theater. Kudos to the renovations! Great theater! We stopped going a long time ago because of the antiquated feel, but we are back! THANKS for sticking through it. We go to Kung Fu tea every time before we go. It's a tradition now! read more

Nice renovation from what this place used be , However I won't be returning here. I was quickly brought back & reminded of some of the many reasons I stopped coming here years ago. This theater is clearly for the teens & young adults that's now at the legal age limit to drink. People just don't follow instructions well , when asked to silence their phones. Phones constantly going off with text alerts & people yelling and talking aloud while the movie plays. That's pretty much of what's expected when going to this location. I was extremely pissed off because could hear more of the movie that was playing in the next theater than the one I was actually watching. I've even complained to staff requesting to turn on the surrounding speakers in the theater because there was only sound coming from the front of the theater. Concession stand cashier clearly didn't know what she had in stock & told me they didn't have fries, chicken strips, & no cheese for the nachos. I asked for the "XL nacho combo & I was told "sorry we don't have any XL cups , but I can give you a LG " I then asked will I have to pay the same price and she replied "Yes". It seemed every time I asked for something I was told they didn't have it, Which was really strange because as she was telling me this her Coworker was restocking the shelf , but again continued to tell me they were out , of stock . Pure laziness and horrible customer service all around. Ice machine and soda fountain was out of service. Which really killed it for me. Great experience at yesterday's matinee showing of Hidden Figures. Great price, friendly staff, and small yet great seating! I will definitely be back for another matinee! Love what they did with the place. I just wished they offered hot beverages at the concession counter and gave a complimentary water cup (they do not) . A cup was offered for 5.18. Still having issues. They are doing so much to revamp the theater and they stop short by not controlling the door. There is no theater attendants checking tickets for the films. There was entirely too much traffic of persons coming and going who did not pay for that particular film. So we left. This review is simple said to hopefully push for more adjustments. I say, make the changes on how it's run because the venue was amazing. Keep the paying customers coming. read more

Great screen size and sound compared to some higher end theaters! We went to Ready Player One in reserved seats in theater 6 (digital) for a noon Sunday showing. The screen size is a little bigger than the digital screens at the Towson Cinemax and the sound was really good (I mean this wasn't even a XD theater). I also like the angle/slope of the theater. My 11 year old could see everything while in full recline in the reclining seats. He can't do that in rows E or higher at Cinemark, even though those seats are a little nicer and have a tray. At this theater rows D-F seem best and the back row has nice little family or date nooks with 2-4 separated seats and those are a great view, too. Only reason it's not 5 stars is the concession area is small and has a cramped snaking line and occasionally I could hear the movie in the next theater during quiet parts in our movie. That might take away more from a horror/suspense film. read more

Do NOT go here unless you want to end up injured...I was hoping to have a great experience at this location since they made upgrades and it's the closest theater to my house. Unfortunately the only decent thing about this place was the reclining seats. Went here on a Sunday and ended up slipping and falling on my tailbone and wrist. That was three months ago and I'm still in pain. There were only two people working the concession stand which took forever to get through. The floor was a slippery mess! Another lady almost slipped as well and was complaining that someone needed to clean up. Even the bathroom floor was slippery. I filed a claim with AMC's insurance company and it took 3 weeks to even get in touch with someone. Then they had the nerve to deny my claim and even lied stating there were adequate signs up and that someone had just cleaned the floor. Well, they must've mopped the floor with butter and I didn't see any signs. I had even went back a few days after the incident during the week to speak with the manager and there were a bunch of young workers standing around talking and laughing meanwhile THERE WERE STILL SPILLS on the floor and NO ONE cleaning up! Now I'm stuck with medical bills and still in pain. I can't sit for long periods and my wrist is not fully functional which isn't good when you have an infant child to carry around or have to type at work. I'm completely disappointed in how AMC handled everything. So I'm warning everyone, do not go here unless you want to end up in the hospital. read more

Don't go to this theater after dark! I have come to the theater on 3 occasions since renovations started (they are still working on the outside but inside looks great). I love the power reclined seating! First two visits were during matinee. Visits were pleasant, service quick...what i expect during a movie outing. Both times everyone in my group enjoyed the visit(especially the new seating!) On my 3rd visit, I was GREATLY disappointed. We went after 9pm on a Friday night and all I have say is stay AWAY from this theater after dark! Kids were everywhere! Being loud, rowdy, banging on exit doors and just loitering. It was a MESS! No security in sight to keep order. The theater NEEDS SECURITY! Plus, the line was coming out the door and outdoor lighting is nonexistent! The people in my group were not comfortable with the choas . We turned around and left. I was just telling them how nice the theater was becoming and we show up to encounter that chaotic mess. Management still has work to do! Also,There was unsecured maintenance equipment outside the entrance combined with no lightning is very dangerous to bystanders (kids standing around this is a lawsuit waiting to happen!). If you go, I STRONGLY suggest only going during matinee/before 5pm!! read more

First time visited. easy to locate from the road. each check-in with my reservation. theater was awesome! with reclining chairs (all the way to sleeping position). excellent effect! co-goers were all nice, quiet just with occasional giggles and laughs. had a great time with my 10 year old. Only thing I dont like is the convenience fee or whatever. but that's everywhere. read more

I liked how the place is well decorated, it really brings the movie effect all movie lovers desire. The management really invested on the customers comfort. The ticket prices though are very high and discouraging. The theatre is also slightly inaccessible. read more

Read some scary reviews about this theatre after I bought tickets (my mistake) however we found it be a decent theater, and we appreciate the new red plush recliner seats. The only negative was my wife stepped out to the restroom and found there were no lights on the floor to find her row again. If you use your light on your cellphone or ask an employee they will help out. read more

I wish I could rate it even lower. On Nov 4, 2017 the fire alarm was pulled around 8:30 just as the movie was about to start, forcing all paying patrons to leave their seats, vacate the premises and stand outside in the pouring rain. There obviously wasn't a fire, because employees were visibly in the lobby nonchalantly eating nachos while paying patrons remained outside and clueless. Fire trucks did arrive (no smell of smoke) and close to an hour later, no member of AMC theater addressed the patrons to (1) offer to inform us of what was going on (2) provide details of how we could be "made whole" from the inconvenience (3) apologize. As a matter of fact, the only person to address us personally was a police officer who (less than politely & as if the paying patrons inconvenienced were the problem) told us all the the theatre wasn't re-opening anytime soon. I will never be going back to this location unless there is a complete overhaul of management. Although the facilities were renovated, what really needs to be "renovated" is the customer service & professionalism. Yes, emergencies will arise, but how companies deal with those emergencies makes all of the difference. read more

They have installed these fabulous recliners instead of usual auditorium seats with nice wide aisles so people passing by don't have to climb over you. I wanted to buy a soft drink but a small one was over $5.00!!?? Please! But I did get a senior discount paid only $7.24 so I will be back. read more

The only thing I like about this renovated theater is the comfortable reclining seats. If you happen to be running slightly late, you already have an assigned seat waiting for you. However, the concession stand area is horrible! There are never enough workers, not to mention any adult-staffers present to help keep things in order. There is never enough food, especially on block-buster movie nights...and the last few times I attended this theater, the popcorn was either stale or very crummy. But who wants to get up to complain after already waiting 20-30 minutes in line for scraps? Finally, why does it need to be a bar at the movie theater? I have noticed people with their little children purchasing alcohol which is very disheartening. How about cancel out the bar and expand the concession stand because that area needs a whole lot of work. Although Security AMC is less than 10 minutes from my house, my husband and I now drive an additional 20-30 minutes to another movie theater that does not ruin our date night. read more
