I contacted the concierge at the Canyons re: transportation. They referred me to Snowbound Transportation. I immediately liked owner/operator Francisco Javellana when I spoke to him on the phone to make a reservation. I was traveling with a baby and a carseat so I had some concern about the type of vehicle we would have, the driver's abilities and wanting to ensure the driver would be ready for us on arrival. Francisco was easy to talk to and very professional. He was easy to trust and seemed very reliable. I requested text updates which he happily complied with. I received an immediate text confirmation a few minutes later and another the morning of our flight. On arrival (landed at 1am) I had an introductory text from our driver, Ronal. Our baby was fast asleep so I immediately called back hoping to ensure the driver would be available quickly. "No problem", I was told, and he promised to be right outside of Door 6 when we walked out. We gathered our luggage, literally turned around to see Door 6 behind us. We walked out and found our driver and car right there, easy to find and identifiable. "Ani?", he confirmed, as he expertly installed our carseat and quickly loaded the Ronal offered us chilled water and we were on our way by 1.15am. Our return flight was early morning as well. Our pickup was scheduled for 7am. At 6.53am, Ronal arrived and called to let me know he was waiting at the front of the hotel. Perfect! I had sent the luggage down early and was delighted as we walked out on a cold frozen morning with the baby to find the van warm and Carseat perfectly installed. Couldn't be happier! Definitely ask for Ronal!

I received an excellent one hour city tour that gave me the highlights of SLC. Wasatch also offers Utah State Capital, Temple Square, Hogle Zoo & Tracy Avairy Tours. They will take you up to the beautiful Red Butte Garden and various museums and parks in the area. If I had more time in the city, I would have taken the tour out to Antelope Island, where you can see lots of animals and swim in the Great Salt Lake. Need a ride to or from the airport--call Wasatch Mt. Service. They also drive to all resorts and in the wintertime, transport skiers to the slopes. Their rates are $75.00 per hour according to their brochure. I can recommend this company and local owner/operator George Gonzales. 4 YELP STARS for a great transportation company.

My ride to the airport for 5 of us plus bags fell through so we called SLCAT, and they brought a minivan right to us, loaded our luggage, were kind, friendly, and knowledgeable, got us there on time, unloaded us, and promised to take care of my 85 year old mother on her return. We went out 3 times a day and saw all kinds of animals. Leopards, lions, elephants, giraffes, hyenas, wildebeasts, zebras, ostriches, rhinos, hippos, and on and on. The jeep windows were down and the Roof extended up and the animals walked a foot away from our jeep. Some rubbed up against the jeep. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Can't say enough positive about Amos and how attentive he was. Thank you Larry for the wonderful experience.
