    Leg room an AA

I was on a flight and a passenger grabbed my hands and tried to "break my hands" because I was holding his seat up after he kept slamming his seat back against my knees. The flight attendant told me I had to allow him to recline his seat. But as you can see in the picture, there is no space for the seat to recline. She needed to fix this issue by changing seats but instead she walked away and actually said "hell no way am I dealing with this". When I arrived in Phoenix I spoke to a gate agent supervisor and they didn't do anything. I should have demanded police board the plane and charge him, but I was so upset I didn't think about it at the time. I'll never fly AA again. And for those of you who want to say I should have bought a more expensive "leg room" seat, this was all there was. This was a small aircraft flying into Santa Fe. Small airport with no options.

My flight was canceled and they put us up in a nasty hotel for the night at Best Western in Tucson. The planes are outdated.

It's easy to navigate the terminals and bags are returned to baggage claim in a reasonable amount of time. The airport is kept clean and there's a good selection of vendors gate side for an airport of this size. The only thing TUS needs is a few more direct flights to other cities, but that's more on the airlines than on the airport itself. As a private pilot, the facilities air side are quite good as well. If you're visiting Tucson, welcome to our city! Be cautioned of the city's (not airport) new speed trap along Valencia Rd. as of May 2026. It's a seven lane road posted at an abnormally low 30 MPH. It's best to avoid Valencia Rd. completely and head straight out Tucson Blvd. to reach your destination within the Old Pueblo.

It's a pretty small airport,, literally just a handful of airlines or so that people will know that flies from here, and then maybe a couple of local airlines. Since it's not a huge airport that does help with the going in and out of the airport at least, from the security line checkouts to the different gates, as they're basically all in the same place. As far as restaurants and stuff inside, it's definitely more of a drinking airport, as most of the places in here aren't going to have diverse flavors or anything and mostly just bar type places. Don't have much more thoughts about the airport. It's fairly smaller compared to most, but that's not always a bad thing as it's a straight forward line in.

Happy Tails sent us multiple pictures and videos daily, and in them Mickey looked like he was taking it all in stride and having a great time. Hugo, his driver really got Mickey and totally loved on him. Mickey was happy to see us after three days, and he didn't look any worse for the wear. He followed us around closely for a little while but was still his goofy, happy and wonderful self. The people at Happy Tails are serious animal lovers and they care about their precious cargo!
