I'm sorry to say I didn't get the names of the women working at the desk on the day desk/night desk or driving the shuttle, but they were all wonderful and assets to the Hampton Inn. I missed breakfast at the hotel because of an early flight, but the lady at the desk gave me a to go bag to take with me which was much appreciated! I'm happy to report there is dark roast coffee (the best!) available and all the decorations made the lobby cozy and relaxing. The room was spotless, and the bed and pillows super comfortable, I always manage to sleep well at this location. Whenever I use a tub anywhere I spray it out with disinfectant cleaner but this tub was clean and hair free before it even got sprayed! The staff here does a great job. Please continue to keep the desk staffed and not follow the impersonal kiosk trend. Also, thank you for continuing to have an airport shuttle, lots of hotels don't have them anymore. read more

I was looking for a decent priced hotel on the west side of Tucson and I tend to stay in Hilton branded hotels. I usually really like Hampton Inn's so this was a good choice. I booked on my Hilton app and was able to check in the day before. I chose my room and was able to get the key a few hours before check-in time. The app made everything easy and no need to wait in any lines. The room was fairly clean and updated. The bathroom was clean, but the shower curtain was ripping at the rings that held it onto the shower curtain rod. The room was fairly comfortable and big enough for my son and I. The pillows were all very soft, and I do prefer at least one firm pillow, but I didn't ask at the front desk if they had any others so I can't fault them for that. My only real issue was the AC. I like a colder room and tend to turn down the AC to the high 60s. Well I kept turning it down to 68 and it would automatically go back up to 74 and turn off. The room was too hot for me and I like the ability to have a fan on even if there is no AC. The room was just warm feeling and i didn't sleep well when the AC was inconsistent. The breakfast the next day was quite good. Hampton's tend to offer different items depending on the location and this location had a good selection. There were two waffle makers, one standard size and one with 4 mini waffles. There was powdered scrambled eggs, some maple sausage links that were almost the size of a rope sausage, oatmeal, 3 kinds of cereal, yogurt, fruit, and some pastries. There were also 3 juice options. Overall it was a nice offering. Coffee was available all day. The staff were all very friendly. It was a decent stay. I just wished the AC worked better. There was a fair amount of parking and I had no issues. I do have to stay I was there on a Sunday night so it was not very busy. read more

I recently moved to Tucson for a new job, and after a rough start with terrible hotels at 1 am, I found this Hampton Inn near Tucson International Airport. I'm not usually a Hilton or "Inn" type of person, but my experience here has completely changed my view. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. The room was clean, and the breakfast was a great way to start my day. While no hotel is perfect, this one really impressed me, especially after experiencing how bad service can be at other so-called "quality" hotels. I specifically had a horrible experience at the AC Hotel in Downtown Tucson, which made me appreciate the top-notch service here even more. They have a free airport shuttle that you call for when you're ready and it arrives very fast. The hotel is so close that I have a friend who actually walks. My room was fine, but the pillows were lumpy and one of the bedside lights didn't work. There is a free continental breakfast, but not a lot of seating. read more

This hotel has the friendliest counter staff of any hotel I've been to recently. I had to go to the counter for minor questions a few times during my stay and encountered several workers. Everyone was very nice. The room was comfortable and I had a nice view of the sunrise. Comfortable bed, bathroom with a good working shower, and plenty of outlets to plug in computer and devices. The hotel is also within walking distance of the airport. Next time I'm in Tucson I'll most likely stay here again. read more

Check in was smooth and fast. The lady working the front desk was friendly and checked me in right away. She gave me my complimentary snacks for being a diamond member and I was off to my room. The parking lot was big and they have a few diamond member spots in the front. Our room was towards the back so we parked in the back. The lot was well lit up and you can only access the back door via a room key. The room was good. It felt a little outdated but everything worked fine. Beds were comfy and the AC was blowing colddddd. Overall it was a good stay. They have coffee and tea available downstairs in the lobby 24/7 and breakfast in the AM. read more

I recently stayed at this Hampton Inn for one night while on a quick trip to Tucson. I wanted to use some of my Hilton Honors points for a free stay, and this location was only 29,000 points. Note when staying at this hotel that there aren't a lot of restaurants in the immediate area, apart from fast food places or hotel restaurants at some of the other hotels in the area. I did not feel like driving far, so I bought some snacks from the little sundries store next to the front desk. The front desk staff members that I interacted with were super friendly and helpful. They made me feel welcome. The rooms have been updated and the bed was comfortable. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The weird thing was the 80s music playing in the hallway outside of my room. While I love 80s music, I don't want to hear it while I was trying to wind down to sleep. They did shut it off for the night at 11 pm, however. Unfortunately, I had a very early day and could not partake in the complimentary breakfast. Hopefully I can try it next time. read more

I've used Hampton Inns many times, but I will never go there again. I made a reservation on the Hampton Inn website. Unfortunately, I chose the wrong date (I chose Feb 22 instead of March 22). When I called to talk to them about fixing the error, I was told that I had to call AAA because I used a "AAA coupon." The young woman told me to call AAA to straighten it out. I made it clear to her that I did not make the reservation on the AAA website. I used the hotel's site and chose a AAA rate. She insisted that they couldn't do anything; I had to call AAA. Of course, when I called AAA, they said they had no access to the record because I made the reservation directly with the hotel. I called the hotel back again and asked if I could speak to a supervisor. I was told that the woman to whom I was speaking was the manager and she could not help me. This is an outrageous way to treat a customer. She was absolutely wrong but wouldn't admit it. I'm going somewhere else! read more

I always stay at Hiltons and am a Diamond Member. This Hotel needs a complete remodel as it's really showing its age. Walls were dirty, and the WIFI is terrible. If you get connected, you won't be for long as I got disconnected every 10 minutes for no reason at all. The Staff is wonderful, very friendly. It's time for Hilton to reinvest some money back into this one. Breakfast had minimal selections, I just ended up having toast. I've stayed here twice, and had the same experience both times. We flew up and back in 24 hours to watch the OSU vs UA football game. The game was at 7:30pm so we had a late check in at about 11:30pm. Guest registration was so personable, she offered us each water bottles, provided a quick check in and shared about the complimentary breakfast that began at 6. We had to be at the airport the next morning by 5am and we asked about the airport shuttle. They offer free service any time, 24 hours. We were only at the hotel for about 5 hours but it was clean and had everything that we needed. Pillows were comfortable and they provided all the necessary bathroom items. As we checked out Sunday morning, the same person we checked in with was still at the front desk. She had a smile on her face and grabbed the shuttle to let them know we needed a ride to the airport. I booked this hotel for its convenience to the airport and that they have a shuttle. Other than the convenience of the airport shuttle, there was not much else that made this hotel a top choice. The hotel check-in was pretty awful. One front desk person informed us that our room wasn't ready, the other person was willing to let us change room styles so we could check in immediately This lead to the two of them getting into an argument. Flew in for a wedding. Hotel very close to airport. Surprisingly we did not hear planes flying by. Room was clean and updated. Air conditioner and heater in room. We set heater to 70 degree at night and slept comfortably. Bed and pillows comfortable. Includes large sizes of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and hand liquid soap. This is a first that a hotel has liquid hand soap. They do have a bar of soap if one wants to use. Free warm breakfast buffet and other choices of yogurts, cereals, and waffles (a big hit with my husband). Lots of parking spaces. Staff friendly and helpful. The receptionist was great i paid for my service 120$ dollars, i went with my kids so we can enjoy the pool "workers and guests " were complaining about noise it was barely 7pm the pool was FILTHY they literally had to clean it when we got there because we had said the ONLY reason we arrived at this hotel was because the pool was empty, but little did we know it was also filthy i don't recommend this hotel, the maintenance employees and guests were really rude when we knew we didn't make much noise!!! read more

Guys... if you're flying in/out of Tucson and looking for a place to stay, then come here. I'm not even exaggerating when I say that you can literally walk to the terminal from this hotel! This Hampton Inn is very nice and clean. They also have a really nice complimentary breakfast bar that would switch up some items every day. And if you come while the weather's warm, a pool outside. We had no issues here.... Our experience was very pleasant! I'd be happy to stay here again and it isn't too far from much else in Tucson. read more

We pulled into the hotel porte cochere area but there was so many cars we decided to drive around to the side and rear of the hotel just to scan and see where we should park after checking in. We drove around to the the front again but still many cars so we parked on the side. I went inside and two guests were being assisted. I waited maybe 5 minutes at the most and I was able to get my key card. Drove around the back and parked in handicap. Our room was on the ground floor. Got to the room & we opened the door and there was a rollaway bed blocking the way to get inside the room! Big disappointment! I would have given a better rating but because of this rollaway blocking the entry to the room, its a 2 star! The least they could have done was push it all the way inside but no I had to squeeze my way and then push it to the open space by the ac/window so my family can get inside the room! Overall, we took hot showers & we slept comfortably after the long drive from Las Vegas! I only hope management will advice their staff never ever block the entry to the room!!! The breakfast was good. Got some boiled eggs, banana, yogurt and some sort of muffin. The hot was just potatoes and veggie fritata. Recently stayed here and while the location was ideal for where we wanted to go, the hotel is an older hotel and the room showed it. There was no closet of any kind, just a cubby that reminded me of where school children hang their coats, with a curtain you pulled over it. The bed creaked when you sat on it and the bathroom had a strange sink in the corner of the bathroom that ran slow, the shower also ran slow and sometimes would drip and that toilet???? How long ago was it installed! It was so short it was just shy of basically a squat over a hole. But the staff was very nice and helpful (especially with pointing out places to eat) and the free breakfast and tea and coffee around the clock in the lobby was good enough. read more

For being one of your basic roadside hotel chains, we really had a pleasant stay at this Hampton Inn! So pleasant that I truly wanted to give them a shoutout on yelp. The interior is updated and both the inside and outside of the building looked well taken care of. Plenty of well lit parking. Front desk staff was super friendly, we forgot toothbrushes and toothpaste and they happily provided us complimentary ones. The complimentary breakfast was also one of the best I have received as a place like this. Not only was there cereal, juice, fruit and pastries/bagels (the usual suspects) but also two waffle stations, yogurt and granola, biscuits and gravy, plus hot ham slices and cheese omelettes. The waffle station not only had syrup but whipped cream, nuts, strawberry topping, chocolate topping etc. Again for being a complimentary hotel breakfast I thought the quality was excellent. The girls working made sure everything was staying well stocked and were friendly too - making sure we had everything we wanted/needed. Inside the rooms everything was clean, the TV is nice and large, plus a fridge and microwave are available. Truly a comfortable stay. I'd recommend this spot and return if coming back to Tucson! read more

Came for a quick visit back home and needed to find a hotel close to the airport. Turned to Yelp and they suggested Hampton Inn as first choice. Booked online and when I was arrive was greeted by Brittany who was very welcoming. She check me in and decided to call it a night early. Woke up and slept like a baby. The pillows are so good that when I went to check out, asked Ericka which brand of pillows and where can I score some. She gladly provided me the website and description of the pillows. Thanked her and made my way to the breakfast area. Sylvia greeted me and asked me what I would like to eat. Responded with everything that you have. She chuckled and comply. After eating, I went back to Ericka who offered me water and I told her to summons the shuttle. Phillip was next to her who jump up and offered to take my bags. As I was walking to the van, he told me "watch your head while going in". Hop in while he loaded up my belongings. Less than a 5 minute drive but we talked about Yonkers New York, loves Tucson and asking me about the bay area. This whole interaction with the employees of Hampton Inn have left a lasting impression on me. Especially during these troubling times, there attitude or the way the interact with guests is awesome. TV didn't work, filthy bed spread and carpet, filthy AC unit, No hot water in shower or sink, no room service, room key didn't work, bathroom door wouldn't close, bathroom vent hanging by 1 screw. Excellent hotel! We had absolutely no complaints with this place. It was easy to reserve, easy to find, and in spite of it being near the airport, you'd never know. We didn't hear one plane, it was completely quiet. Rooms were also very quiet. We couldn't hear anyone coming or going in the hallways. The breakfast was very good, better than most complimentary hotel meals. The rooms are exactly as pictured. We had a very large room with a nice separate sitting area. The hotel is very updated, especially the large bathrooms. Everything was so comfortable & more than we expected. The customer service was amazing. They all greet & acknowledge you, not only at the front desk, but employees in the halls walking by, the cleaning staff as you pass, they all really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. read more

The breakfast was a little better than the usual chain hotel offerings - with fresh fruit salad, cooked oatmeal, smoothies and decent hot food options. Our room was well equipped and we took advantage of the self serve laundry facilities during our stay. It's a 20 minute drive from downtown and you will need to drive to go out for dinner. read more

So if you have checked out any my reviews you know that I am a huge Hilton brand fan. I love the Hampton Inn product and I have stayed at lots and lots of these locations. This particular location is kind of blah, I stayed here because I was traveling to Texas and I left from the Los Angeles area and I needed a hotel and this is where I ended up. There's nothing to do in the Tucson area so if you have something that brings you to Tucson I highly recommend this hotel because this hotel is great. Service was great, the rooms were great and I have zero complaints. Everything was clean and everything was sanitized and oh my god did I mention how comfortable the beds are. The beds here are fantastic. My only negative comment I have about this place is that I don't like how they reduced what they offer for breakfast during the COVID-19 pandemic. I think they could've done a better job and that they possibly even took advantage of the situation Because out of all the Hamptons I've been to recently this one really drastically reduced but they had to offer. I'm traveling back to Texas in a couple weeks and I will stay here again because of all the different reasons I mentioned above. I hope now that COVID-19 is a little bit relaxed that maybe they have made changes to their breakfast set up. read more

This was our first time to stay at this location and we found it very nice. We were checked in by Ahmed who was very helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean and had the clean duvet covers we've come to expect with Hampton. The breakfast was very good and the staff worked hard to ensure that everything was kept clean and the food filled. There was a good variety of offerings and of course the famous make your own waffles. The shuttle to and from the airport, just down the street, operates 24/7. Very nice place to stay. read more

Not sure if my mediocre experience was just a fluke (compared to other very positive guest experiences). The woman that checked me in didn't seem to happy to check me in. She didn't acknowledge my member or give me my free water. The first room I was in, had a backed up sink. I swear no me me had stayed in that room in years - they still had a bottle of bright green conditioner that I haven't seen in my 6 last years of travel. Anyway I did ask to get a different room since I wanted to stay an extra night and Philip was amazing and gave me a different room. The housekeeping staff helped me with my new room key not working. Anyways this new room had a backed up shower. I had take a few showers that second night stay. The shower did not work either. I turned ir off and the shower kept going. I called to have someone address my Concerns. They sent someone for the shower leaking immediately. As for the shower being backed up... they didn't care to address it. When I checked out, the front desk told Me that maintenance didn't go in to fix it since they knew I was going to be checking out. Meaning the staff was ok with letting me shower with about an inch or so of standing water during my stay. The breakfast was also mediocre. I felt like I was at a budget hotel the whole time I was there. The 2 stars are just for Philip being helpful and for the housekeeping staff who stopped to help me while holding and armful of linen. read more

We stayed here 2 nights before heading back home after a visit with family. It was a nice room-nice picture on the tv. We had breakfast one morning and it was good. My only complaint was that the fitted sheet on our king size bed did NOT fit at all. Way to small and the corners kept popping off. The bed was comfortable. The door to the bathroom would not shut-it was way too large for the doorway. Also, it would have been nice to have more plugs to charge our devices including one on each side of the bed. read more

The blackout curtain in my room on the first floor stopped where the window began... It would have been hilarious if I wasn't paying for it. The curtain covered the wall where there was no window. This made me and my partner feel very uncomfortable as anyone could see in. In fact, the first thing I saw when I woke up was the wait staff outside the window having a cigarette break. The eye-contact was sustained and awkward. The attendant at the checkin desk was flatly unreceptive to the issue and very unhelpful. I will not be staying here again. read more

Always enjoy the Hampton Inn. The beds were really comfortable and HBO is included in your TV Channel package. There is a local bar you can walk too if necessary as well. The breakfast bar was what you would expect from a hotel, so you should stick to anything they do not make in the backroom like Yogurt and coffee. read more

We had reservations at Hyatt and got moved to Hampton Inn due to overbooking. Don't let the construction outside deter you. The facility is quiet, clean, customer service is amazing and it felt like an upgrade not an inconvenience. They have a happy hour which is always a nice way to relax. It is our anniversary, we had a lovely surprise of champagne and candy in our room, and they called to make sure our room met our expectations, which they exceeded. So, my enthusiasm was customer service based prior to spending the night, hence the updated review. Best night sleep I have had in a hotel in a long time. I never sleep more then seven hours, I slept 10. The blackout curtains work very well. I thought the air conditioner was loud, but turns out it is like white noise and I did not hear one airplane. The water pressure in the shower is nice and they have neutrogena products which is my go-to. Everything was very clean and nothing appeared outdated. The mirror didn't make me look fat. We stayed at this Hampton Inn on March 4 with a 1am check in after a delayed flight because we knew we wanted to sleep before we made our way to our actual resort. The one and only bright spot of this visit was the night desk clerk who was welcoming and efficient. We were told to drive around to back lot and enter through back door to use the elevators to our room. First red flag was a trail of what appeared to be vomit or liquid garbage on the carpet as we entered the door. We hoped that it was something spilled and walked around and figured since it was so late, we would overlook this. However, what I can't overlook is the room we were staying in only until 8:30am! After all long flight, we were excited to get cleaned up and just get to sleep. Unfortunately, the bathroom was gross. I hopped in the bath and immediately got to see a toilet with a rim covered in what appeared to be black filth/mold. Apparently they don't know what a toilet wand is. The rest of the bathroom was ok but not great and you question the level of cleaning that takes place in there leaving you feeling gross for getting cleaned up. Did not sleep well wondering how clean the beds were since the bathroom is pretty easy and standard to clean and anything can lurk in sheets and mattresses. There was also a broken nightstand between the beds. The drawer opened on its own any time you walked past the beds on opposite side of the room to use the bathroom. Having this continuing to happen was a potential hazard because if someone got up to use the restroom in the dark from the bed closer to the window and it silently opened again, the people sleeping on either bed near the nightstand were at risk of whacking into it as they got out of bed. I would not stay here again and wouldn't recommend to others. In addition, the day after our stay, I responded to an internal review request from the Hampton Inn. I received an immediate response to my comments from the manager apologizing for our experience and asking if there was anything she could do as a result. Initially I was very impressed to see that the management cared about what I posted and replied to her within 24 hours. She never followed up with me and that was very concerning. Does the Hampton Inn only look at a manager's initial prompt response to a guest or do they make sure that the issue is fully resolved? I sent another follow up email and if I receive a response to this one (a month later) I will update my review with what I hear back from them. read more

Wow! I was shocked at the level of hospitality we were shown at this location.Coming from San Diego, we've been to plenty of 5 star high rated hotels. I can honestly say the experience here was better than any hotel I've stayed in to date. EVERY employee I spoke to was kind, and welcoming. Special shout out to Danely at the front desk and her mother who helped us upon arrival, and were helpful with all 30 requests between myself and my family of 5. The pool area was nice, the hotel interior is updated and CLEAN! The A/C blows Ice cold, the bathroom is spacious, the bathtub was clean, the beds were COMFY! the lobby is sleek and inviting.
