My boyfriend originally took my car into M&M to get checked due to the engine jumping, as I work full-time (8-6) and couldn't go myself. The initial quote was around $630 for an O2 sensor and an air filter--seemed reasonable at first. Then we were suddenly told by Mitch that my car needed cylinder head work totaling $6,000. Naturally, we wanted a second opinion. Not only did they refuse to provide the diagnostic codes when asked, but I later scanned the car myself (I have photo evidence of the actual codes)--and none of them supported the diagnosis or the $6,000 repair Mitch claimed was needed. This felt dishonest and ‼extremely predatory‼ After waiting nearly two weeks, I picked up my car only to find: 1. An oil separator was installed without my approval 2. The A/C had completely stopped working--a system that worked perfectly when I dropped the car off When I called Mitch, he said to bring it back and he'd refund me and look at the A/C. From the second I walked in, he was rude and condescending--questioning me and speaking down to me for not "handling this myself," completely ignoring that I'm a full-time student with a full-time job. The only time he showed any decency was when I became visibly upset--and a customer walked in. He then refused to take responsibility for the A/C issue, saying "we didn't touch that," and tried to blame it on me supposedly hitting a pothole--again, suspicious timing. (I have video of this exact conversation.) Why would I have him work on my car again after spending $899, getting a partial refund, and coming back with more issues than when I dropped it off? Bottom line: I have the codes. I have the video. I have the receipts. Mitch was wrong and the entire experience was unprofessional and stressful. I strongly urge anyone reading this to take your car elsewhere and get a second opinion. You deserve honesty, transparency, and respect--not to be talked down to and overcharged.

They sent out a tech who couldn't do the job because he doesn't have his own NAFTA password and didn't have the proper equipment. We had to put the old body control module back into the vehicle & program the keys to the it, since he couldn't do the parameter reset. The old body control module has water damage, which was why we did the repair! So it wasted our time & our customer's time. When we asked the tech why he didn't bring what was needed he said "the boss doesn't let that stuff leave the shop." He then told us we could call and let them know when the vehicle would be in Lubbock and they could program the keys and do a parameter reset to the new body control module...... At a DISCOUNT. Really?! I called for a specific job to be done, was assured it could be done, then had to reverse the repair in order to have keys work for the vehicle and instead of offering to fix the mistake or the unpreparedness that cost our customer & us time and money free to make the mistake right, we get offered a discount?! When I asked for the boss's name we were told Josh, but if you call and ask for him, you'll probably be told he's on a run, he doesn't answer calls because of telemarketers.....
