Went to lube Pro to get them to change a running light ($22) after getting my oil changed at Gene Messer Volkswagen Who had quoted me $85 to replace the light. While they were doing the replacement they noticed that my car was leaking oil heavily and let me know that whoever did my oil change had messed up and not put the oil filter on correctly. If they had not noticed this, my engine could have seized up because of lack of oil after only a few hours of running. I am forever grateful to them because I was able to get it fixed before any damage could be done to the motor. Great set of guys who will be upfront with you and give their honest opinion on your vehicle. I was passing through Lubbock and needed an oil change so I started reading Yelp reviews. This place had the most 5 Star reviews and after calling them for a quote, I understood why. They took the time to explain the different oil options, one of which was full synthetic at nearly half the price of their competitors. When I arrived, there were three cars in front of me. In about 30 minutes, I was in the bay. These folks did not try to up-sell me on anything, they did tell me about a leaky CV boot that I will keep an eye on. After using the same company for my oil changes for many years I was sad to learn a change in ownership made the prices a bit absurd. I've always gone to Lube Pro for my inspections because it's so quick and convenient. I don't know why I didn't have them change my oil before! The line was a little long (yay for success in their business) but it went so quickly! Honestly, even with the long line it was the quickest oil change I've ever had! The staff was ALL super friendly and helpful. As a woman, I loathe doing any car stuff because I typically am treated like I don't know anything and often I'm oversold or at least they attempt to. The guys were honest, helpful, and treated me with such kindness and respect! I wasn't sure what kind of oil I wanted and they took the time to educate me a little and let me make my decision. Next door was a Boltons, and that place had 3 long lines while this shop only had a few. Short line, didn't have to get out of the car, checked all the fluids, changed my tire pressure, and changed my oil in a matter of 15 minutes.
