A mutual friend mentioned that Young Martin (owner of Wigs N Hair) excelled in this area. From the moment I walked in until I walked out with a gorgeous wig, it was a memorable experience. Young had looked me up on FB, had a couple of wigs pulled for me and the first one she put on me was perfect. It was the wig I needed and I felt tremendous peace during every step. Laura the owner of this hair boutique recommended Celondra Lewis as a skilled and licensed hair stylist to make a u-part wig with the kinky curly hair I purchased. On the website regarding kinky Curly hair it clearly states the hair can be colored and bleached and I read this information before going into the store. I set everything up with Celondra and had my appointment set... the day of the appointment I get a text from Celondra saying the hair isn't taking the color... I'm like why not? It clearly says on the website the hair can be colored!!! I contacted Laura and so did Celondra regarding the hair she said well I told her the hair couldn't be colored! No that's not the information I was given because we never talked about coloring the hair or what I wanted to do with the hair! Laura has switched vendors because of COVID-19 this new hair is not good quality hair and can not be colored at all. Laura and Celondra are refusing to give my money back and haven't rendered any services at all. I've filled charges against Laura Purnell and Celondra Lewis for fraud and theft of services. Customer beware of this company... it's not the same vendor and she has failed to provide that information.

She assured me that she know exactly the texture and color that she will personally select. After ordering the hair the next day I got a text message that someone ordered almost $700 in hair extensions under my name, address and email. I called Laura immediately and said I had not ordered anything other than that one order. She started to scramble on the phone for an explanation and said she thinks her compute messed it up. She asked me to call my credit card company to check if there are any pending charges on my credit card. I couldn't believe what I was hearing she is putting panic in her new customer and making her customer check instead of her figuring out what happened and to clear this up. Very unprofessional and very unsettling for a new client. After a week of waiting and 45 min of taking on the phone she assured me she knew exactly my texture, color and length. To be honest when she was taking my information I had to repeat so many times and still she would mess it up. To be honest, mistakes happen but what she said to me on the phone about them manipulating the hair for photography was what got me.... so it's the switch and bait? I sent an Instagram note she blocked me and took my comment out. I've been to all of them, and found…read morethis shop to be the friendliest by far and with a great selection, especially of lace-front wigs. If you're not familiar with the process: you need a wig cap to try on wigs. If you don't have one you can buy one at the register for $1. Find a style you like then ask someone for help and they will see if there are other shades it comes in and help you try it on. Now if you love your wig, but its a little too long or needs bangs, no problem. After you buy the wig, you go over to the styling area. If its a busy weekend you may have to wait a while, but the ladies will style the wig for free (tips are nice though), if you purchased the wig the same day.
