They immediately scheduled my early morning pick-up. had a reasonable, flat rate, and arrived 15 minutes earlier than requested. The driver was very professional and friendly. They got me to the airport perfectly on time. Overall, Desert Sun Cab provided excellent service. My airport transfer went smoothly and it was a great experience. I saw the Rides site and read their reviews and decided they would be the one. I called Jennifer and she was amazing. Stayed in contact, got my ride set up and answered all my neurotic questions . Today was the day. Chatel came to pick me up (she was early and ready to go). What an amazing person. Constantly attentive, helped me in and out of the car and helped me get up and down out of chairs at my appointments. Throughout the trip she made sure I was okay and I felt like I was being cared for by a friend. Got me to both appointments on time. Made a situation that was difficult much easier. The reason we booked and reserved a ride early was because we were going to be leaving at 2 AM in the morning to be able to catch our 8:15 AM flight to Washington (Dulles airport) then proceed to Rome,Italy. We knew how difficult it was to get a ride at that hour. Well, at the last minute, Bertha canceled and we could not get anyone to drive us to the airport via Uber. We tried calling cab companies like the Coachella Valley Cab Company but even though their services said they operated 24/7, no one answered the phone. We were in a panic since time was ticking away when I saw "Mom's Rides" under Google. Feeling hopeful but still nervous based on our past experiences, I called and thankfully, Mom answered, although I could tell she had just woken up. Mom was at our house at 3:45 AM and despite the early Monday traffic heading towards Los Angeles, we made it at 6 AMwhich gave us enough time to check in our luggage, go through TSA, use the toilets, and eat an early breakfast with coffee before our flight left. Mom was an EXCELLENT driver. She drove quickly but made sure we arrived safely. We were even able to have a bathroom break during the drive. She has a pleasant personality, loves dogs ( we enjoyed meeting Marley!), and acted like a true "Mom" to us. My husband is disabled but she would patiently wait for him to get out of the car and helped us with our luggage. In this modern world where sometimes, people only look out for themselves and care less about others, Mom is a reminder that despite the many changes in our world today, there is still some good in the world through the people who show their "light" for others. A BIG THANK YOU to Mom who helped us and made sure we got to our destination safely! We will surely get your services once more! OH! And we enjoyed her 70s and 80s music inside her white Dodge van! Ubers were going for $236 and I was trying to see if I could get something cheaper. I saw Mom's Rides was available 24/7 so I figured I could give them a call since I needed to figure out a ride situation in less than 24 hours. I called around 10:53PM and she was nice over the phone telling me to send me send the addresses over so she can give me a quote. She recommended I look elsewhere if I'm looking for a cheaper ride so when I told her I would, she got upset with me and sent me this long message. Good luck to anyone asking for a quote!
