Firstly, Road Runner and 4 Aces cab company work under the same dispatch so they had us communicating with both which was very confusing. I would never recommend either after our horrific experience last weekend. At our initial pickup the driver was over 20 minutes late and we missed our dinner reservation. He also didn't have a car that suited our party. He subbed out a van that did not fit all five of us with seatbelts. And when we expressed our concern to the driver himself, he laughed and said good luck getting an Uber. We had had some wine at dinner otherwise we would have driven ourselves. After dinner at our second pickup they instead sent two cars but one of the drivers was completely unsafe speeding and smelled of alcohol. We called and asked for another driver for our final destination which they could not provide so we had to find additional transportation that cost us an added out of pocket expense. This is not a dependable or safe service. I would never use again.

They got me to the airport perfectly on time. Overall, Desert Sun Cab provided excellent service. My airport transfer went smoothly and it was a great experience. The reason we booked and reserved a ride early was because we were going to be leaving at 2 AM in the morning to be able to catch our 8:15 AM flight to Washington (Dulles airport) then proceed to Rome,Italy. We knew how difficult it was to get a ride at that hour. Well, at the last minute, Bertha canceled and we could not get anyone to drive us to the airport via Uber. We tried calling cab companies like the Coachella Valley Cab Company but even though their services said they operated 24/7, no one answered the phone. We were in a panic since time was ticking away when I saw "Mom's Rides" under Google. Feeling hopeful but still nervous based on our past experiences, I called and thankfully, Mom answered, although I could tell she had just woken up. Mom was at our house at 3:45 AM and despite the early Monday traffic heading towards Los Angeles, we made it at 6 AMwhich gave us enough time to check in our luggage, go through TSA, use the toilets, and eat an early breakfast with coffee before our flight left. Mom was an EXCELLENT driver. She drove quickly but made sure we arrived safely. We were even able to have a bathroom break during the drive. She has a pleasant personality, loves dogs ( we enjoyed meeting Marley!), and acted like a true "Mom" to us. My husband is disabled but she would patiently wait for him to get out of the car and helped us with our luggage. In this modern world where sometimes, people only look out for themselves and care less about others, Mom is a reminder that despite the many changes in our world today, there is still some good in the world through the people who show their "light" for others. Ubers were going for $236 and I was trying to see if I could get something cheaper. I saw Mom's Rides was available 24/7 so I figured I could give them a call since I needed to figure out a ride situation in less than 24 hours. I called around 10:53PM and she was nice over the phone telling me to send me send the addresses over so she can give me a quote. She recommended I look elsewhere if I'm looking for a cheaper ride so when I told her I would, she got upset with me and sent me this long message. Good luck to anyone asking for a quote!
