My girlfriends and I had a trip to Joshua Tree last weekend and booked a car service for our Saturday evening from our hotel to dinner and hot springs. Firstly, Road Runner and 4 Aces cab company work under the same dispatch so they had us communicating with both which was very confusing. I would never recommend either after our horrific experience last weekend. At our initial pickup the driver was over 20 minutes late and we missed our dinner reservation. He also didn't have a car that suited our party. He subbed out a van that did not fit all five of us with seatbelts. And when we expressed our concern to the driver himself, he laughed and said good luck getting an Uber. We had had some wine at dinner otherwise we would have driven ourselves. After dinner at our second pickup they instead sent two cars but one of the drivers was completely unsafe speeding and smelled of alcohol. We called and asked for another driver for our final destination which they could not provide so we had to find additional transportation that cost us an added out of pocket expense. This is not a dependable or safe service. I would never use again. read more

My friend and I had a really great, and easy experience using RoadRunner Car Service. I think the trick is to order ahead to ensure there is no wait. We ordered a pick up at our house for a ride up to Pappy and Harriet's for a concert, and then pre ordered the ride home (estimating when the show would end). There and back the driver was on time, courteous, the car was clean. I'd for sure use this service again when I'm back in town. read more

I used this service this morning. It was a 30 minute wait. Not a big deal. Had a great driver - a little on the expensive side, but not horrible. I called them again at 2:20 pm to get another cab. At 3:05 pm I called then just go see how much longer it would be - "the driver will be there around 4 pm". Wait....??? What????? Huh??? Do you think maybe you should let someone know it's an hour and 40 minute (minimum) wait? I understand the delay - but don't understand the lack of notification when people are trying to get to places on time. read more

When I said yes, he replies "we don't do pickups from malls" and hangs up the phone before I could even ask whether we would be able to book from another address! In Yucca Valley on business and Saturday night wanted to go get groceries. Only one Uber on my app and it was headed away. I left my alert on and it went out of service. So I called Lucky 7. Was answered right away (other businesses tend to have hold times if they're very busy). And dispatcher said a cab was nearby. He wasn't joking, the cab pulled into the driveway in 5 minutes. The drive was Tim, very nice guy. On the short drive to the store, we chatted a little. An hour later we called Lucky 7 again as there was once again only one Uber and it was not responding. Tim came back for us, and even offered to help load the groceries in the trunk. We would gladly ride with him again, and probably will since we are here for a week. Complaints about a person's looks or the age of the vehicle shouldn't discourage you. The company is quick and efficient and the driver is courteous and knows his way around. And YES -- he wore a mask. Passengers are required to wear one also. read more

I have used this taxi company around Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley 3x since December 2021. The waits can be long, but they have managed to get me where I needed to go every time. I recommend calling several hours ahead if possible; you can schedule a pick-up. read more

Being here in Yucca Valley we don't have many cab companies, but it's pretty sad When the Comes to pick you up. And you feel unsafe getting in the vehicle, The driver to pick me up look like he was homeless, any smell just as bad. And I am just so unsatisfied, and hopefully they'll read this and at least make the drivers take a bath and brush their hair, I make my kid Just an update, after months the owner of the cab company finally sent me a message telling me that they're changing the weather doing things and that they have a licensed auto mechanic servicing their vehicles in the replacing part of the vehicles in their fleet. And that I can have a 50% discount on my next ride. Are you kidding me, I go to frontier coffee house all the time, and I see The drivers, and some really cracked out looking guy working on their vehicles. I still won't use their service because there are cabs are unsafe. And the drivers make me feel uncomfortable. read more

I was extremely impressed with Lucky 777 for such a small-town cab company. We were banking on Uber being available to give us a ride from Yucca Valley to the airport Sunday late morning. After seeing "no cars available" we panicked, and was referred to Lucky 777 Cab. They were exceptionally kind and understanding and made the ride happen! He calculated the cost, took down my credit card information, and texted a receipt assuring we would make our flight on time. I preferred this as a few others we called were very shady and were quoting nearly double the cost in cash only. While some may not prefer giving a credit card over the phone, it was reassuring that his driver would actually be here. That being said, we were greeted by the nicest driver (cannot remember his name), and provided a safe and comfortable drive to the airport. I've never rated a cab before, but I was blown away by our experience this past weekend. Staying overnight in yucca valley for a show at Pappy and Harriet's, we had legitimate worry about difficulty getting back late at night due to scarcity of cabs in the area. Recommended by our hotel, lucky 777 cab was quick and cheap getting us back and forth from the show. The driver did an excellent job of communicating with is and was quick and on time. He promised he would pick us up so we weren't stuck up there. He was fast and on time every time we called him, and also extremely friendly. Fantastic. read more

I have never written a yelp review before but spent the time to sign up to tell you about this company! We just had a bachelorette weekend at a house in Yucca Valley and wanted to spend one night out. We had 18 girls that night and did not want to drive. Our original plan was to go to dinner, then bowling, then to a bar, then home. I called Mickey and he gave me his e-mail address. We ended up e-mailing throughout the entire process and he was SO HELPFUL! He had arranged for him and his men to pick us up and drop us off at each of these locations for a flat and VERY reasonable rate. CALL HIM if you need ANY service in Yucca Valley. First of all I did take this cab service almost every week . Well this pass weekend I called for a cab and waited they never showed up . When they did they tired to charge me 10 dollars for them not showing up . So I called for a cab later on in the evening I explained the situation to the current cabdriver . She called and said they had the wrong number so it wasn't my fault . Well lo and behold I call for Cab today and they still are trying to charge me. I was VERY HAPPY with Lucky 777 Cab service! Was in Joshua tree this weekend with a group of friends and wanted a cab to and from the bar Friday night for the 4 of us so no one had to be DD. I emailed Mickey about setting up a reservation and we settled on a very reasonable flat rate for the round trip. The whole experience was extremely reliable and professional. The driver texted me the night I booked the reservation when he was out front of our Airbnb to pick us up. The ride to the bar was great. Clean car, nice driver. While we were at the bar a HUGE storm started brewing. It resulted in the main road being closed off because of flooding. We left the bar around 12:30 and the storm was coming down hard. The bouncer of the bar told us we would most likely need to rent a hotel room for the night because the road conditions were so bad. So we were expecting the worst but our taxi still showed up (and even came earlier than expected when we called and asked if they could). Mind you, our Airbnb was about 40 mins away from the bar. Our driver's name was Tim and there couldn't have been a more perfect person for getting us home. His priority was getting us back safely so we didn't have to pay for a hotel room. Even though the roads were all pretty much flooded and the conditions were SO BAD he could barely see out his windshield because the rain was coming down so hard, he kept a cool head the whole time. To bypass the closed roads he took us an alternative route, that only a local would know. We saw MULTIPLE car accidents/cars stuck on the way home and we were very nervous that would happen to us as well. But Tim got us home safely. I am SO THANKFUL I ended up booking with lucky777 and we didn't try and drive the roads ourselves. Seriously top notch service! Highly recommend! read more

i stayed at black rock camp ground i would call this people for ride they tell me 20 mins and i would not see anyone hour later i call again they tell me 10 mins,i see the cab pull in and drive right by me...there was only one cab guy that would pick me up i belive is name is scott..theres a nice guy will talk to you and get you to feel better about life....so the service was bad but if you do have to use them get a hold of scott......... read more
