Careless and unethical use of customer data. This business used my phone number without my permission, enrolled me in their marketing program, and began sending unsolicited texts. While some might consider this a small issue, it reflects a disregard for customer consent and data privacy. Even small infractions in the handling of personal information matter. Your phone number is part of your private data, and when a company decides to use it without your explicit consent, it breaks trust. I recently moved to the area and started using this location. There is an older woman who is unreasonably rude. I had two ruined shirts from another location that I was asking if there was any recourse for the damage if I empennage back to the previous location, she insisted that it was the way I was wearing my shirt. I'm super disappointed in the lack of customer service, knowledge, and lack of follow up. I would not recommend this company to anyone and will not be using them again in my lifetime. I guess I should have read the previous reviews of the horrible customer service! Learn from my mistake! Recently I had taken my wedding dress in to this cleaners. The dress was ordered online brand new so the dress was clean but it has some tulle material that I asked if the wrinkles in the material could come out or if it was just how the material was. I was assured that they could get the wrinkles out. I picked it up a week later, paid for it then took it home to see that the wrinkles were still there. The dress looked the exact some. Being disappointed I called the customer service office and spoke with Ellen. She asked me to bring it back to the location and they would have it shipped to her because she could not speak logically about it without seeing it. This was on a Friday (and my wedding was the following Saturday) so I had expected to hear something on Monday given the urgency, however I never heard a word so I called back Tuesday. She didn't recall me so she had to call me back once she found the dress. She said she would have it pressed again and send it back to my location and have it there the day before my wedding. Upon picking it up again I made sure to look at it while I was at the location but to my surprise the dress looked the same. I called Ellen again but had to leave a message because she was out of the office. Do you think I heard back from her? No. I called today 5 days later to get a refund because since the wrinkles were not removed after being told that they would come out. Their response was that I should not have listened to the 16 year old kid at the front of the store, that they would not be refunding. So how is it the customers fault that they hire "kids" who they do not train? So again, I'm super disappointed in the lack of customer service, knowledge, and lack of follow up. I have been using AMERICAN cleaners for ever. They always have my cleaning ready when they say it'll be ready . Can be tough to get in and out of due to traffic on hey k. It's an older place compared to some of the other cleaners in town. read more

WARNING: CASH ONLY PLACE!!! Great place for last minute dry cleaning and pressing needs, especially when you iron was just ruined by the recent rains. Yeah, my basement flooded but not to where everything was ruined, just the iron. Anyways, I needed a pair of pants dry cleaned before I moved because guess what... They are dry clean only. Go me for not checking the tag before purchase. They were able to get the cleaning done within a day, which was awesome because now I have them packed and ready for my big move. Plus, they got out any and all stains or dirt that was on the pants. Some of the negatives included that when I dropped off my pants the lady was very blunt and rude to me. She demanded the basic questions and took the pants she didn't let me ask her any questions about if I should come back with the coupons or wait until I picked up. I ended up not using coupons because of other reasons. Also, when I picked up my item it was disgustingly hot in there. It makes me wonder if there is any AC in the building or not because that is really a death sentence down here to not have any. Finally, I wasn't told that this place was cash only until I went to try and pay with my card. Would have loved the warning so I wasn't trying to find an ATM in the middle of rush hour. I don't know about coming back here. I don't really buy dry clean only items and the treatment wasn't that great either. read more

I rarely use dry cleaning services but this past October we dropped of our bedding set for drycleaning. The location on Hwy K lost the 6 of the pillow shams, two of which came with the full bedding set and the four others that were purchased separately. This was a very expensive set and unfortunately, they have not turned up yet. I was directed to deal with the Customer Service Manager who promised to get back to me within 30 days after the initial claim was opened to settle the issue. The CSM never called, I had to reach out which at that time early December had to provide the bedding set name again and provided the approximate value we had spent originally. On 12/26 I followed up again with the CSM, and again had to provide the bedding set. CSM then proceeded to offer $50.00 for a $500+ bedding set that they lost. It was presented as a final offer which I did not accept. Good luck replacing that with todays inflation values for $50.00. I requested management which I was given the run around on. We will see if we get a call back. I would not recommend American Cleaners! Poor cleaning services, even worst customer service! read more

Always fast and professional. Prices are very reasonable. Today in particular they saved us: My son needed his suit pressed for Prom pictures. (He thought it was already "picture" ready...I saw it and at once disagreed). American Cleaners quickly took care of us and we were able to pull off pictures without any glitches. read more

This location is the best hands down, I brought in some clothes last week after having a very long stressful hard week of losing my mother. and met a lady by the name of Ginny she was very respectful & you can tell she is dedicated to her job she had a smile on her face by the time I walked in an when I walked out! had coffee stains on a trench coat and it appears they did not even try to remove any stain on this coat. they did stick a note saying that may do damage to the color but, it is more like they rubbed it with a dryer sheet and ironed it. I have had this coat dry cleaned before and had better results with a different business. read more
