They clearly were not. We had 4 pair of shoes that would have totaled close to $400, along with several name brand clothing items. He would not make eye contact with me and was extremely poor in his overall presentation--his statement when walking away was "I don't know what to tell you". The poor cashier looked shocked and apologized over and over, saying "I'm so sorry, he's the main manager and there's no one else above him or I would call someone else". I will NEVER patron this store again!

Allegedly to prevent fraud a phone call was made to my residence to confirm that I in fact had purchased the items and because Academy Sports got a answering machine instead of a live person they canceled the order. Further review of my answering machine verified no call from Academy Sports ever took place. Therefore I had to place my order through Amazon. Academy Sports has the absolute worst customer service. I will NEVER purchase another item through this company. I would recommend any person that wants guaranteed delivery and excellent customer service should shop with any other company other than Academy Sports

A local friend on The Hill recommended I check out Alumni Hall for WKU spirit wear while I was in…read moretown. I needed a few pieces quickly for a business meeting and found what I needed with some extra options to choose from. Plenty of different pieces ranging from super casual to sportswear and even a bit of boutique fashion! I picked up one of each after a quick try-on in the fitting room. The men's section was equally stocked, there's plenty for kids and babies although not nearly the floor space as women/men's retail. The only age range less represented was likely teen, but certainly young adult type options they could make work. I wish I had had more time to explore those clearance racks - the hoodies are perfect for upcoming cool weather football games. Staff was friendly, available, and even helped me as an out-of-towner find my next errand location once I made my purchase. I will gladly come back to Alumni Hall Bowling Green for my next WKU purchases - homecoming is soon! - and recommend that friends and family stop by while in town, too.
