He never looked at the unworn item nor receipt which was present. He asked why and the gentleman stated because the top of the box was ripped. I instantly called the manager when my son arrived home. I explained what happened and the employee lied several times. He first said the item was unsellable and then he said he had no receipt. When I arrived back with him they saw zero issues and returned it. It's very inconvenient so have someone take almost an hour going back and forth to the store. I could assume why he was treated like that but without proof I'll keep it to the employee was very unprofessional. Do better !!!!! To much of our money is spent here for this type of behavior

I did-that was the Towne Center store in Leawood, Ks. spoke to an employee who told me that did have both items in stock (1 of each), 85.00 for one and 47.99 for the other. I explained that I live 221 miles from that store but would be there next Friday, 8/7 and could pick them up then. However company policy for not allow them to take payment over the phone. She said I could go online order them for a store pick up there for next week. Well since they only had 1 of each item in stock the online ordering showed they did not have it so that was now not an option. She offered to hold them but could not guarantee they would be there next week. Told me to call customer service and see if they could "override" that quantity and make it available but she didn't think they would. Not helpful at all in solving my issue or making a $130 plus sale soooooo Long story short..I got in my car, drove to my local Laura Hill store spoke with the store manager and she found a solution. She ordered it from another Kansas City area store, I paid for it, and it will be delivered in 3-5 days. All from 299 miles away and in less than 10 min. This is not a store I shop in frequently as I do not have a need for most items in their inventory, but have been there 2 or 3 times before and EVERY TIME someone who works there has gone above and beyond to help me get exactly what I needed. This store manager "gets it"! and so does her staff-retail is a very tough, competitive industry, and having to deal with trying to find good, caring associates while they are on your dollar must be incredibly difficult nowadays, but not there. please acknowledge her and her store for their willingness to go the extra mile! Ended out having some shirts for work done... Got them back and they were done wrong. I even left a…read morebusiness card with the guy to ensure accuracy with the embroidery. I took them back after my district manager made a comment about the error on the shirt. After taking the shirt back into the store and pointing out the error, one of the employees offered to fix it. Sounds like it would be cause for a good review, eh? WRONG! So I go back in before my next shift starts to get the shirt and the "correction" that was made has about an inch of space from the rest of the original embroidery. When the store hands it back to me I explain how the correction is unacceptable and will have to be fixed. I was further given a poor attitude and asked to bring in another shirt so that they can do it the right way. I definitely do not suggest going here if you need an embroidery done unless you plan to stay there the entire time and make sure that they do it right..... Even after explicitly making sure that you put everything down correct in the form, thy will still manage to screw it up.
