Unfortunately we came to the store to return a hood purchased less than 30 days ago. When arriving to the store my son stated he had a return the gentleman instantly said no. He never looked at the unworn item nor receipt which was present. He asked why and the gentleman stated because the top of the box was ripped. I instantly called the manager when my son arrived home. I explained what happened and the employee lied several times. He first said the item was unsellable and then he said he had no receipt. When I arrived back with him they saw zero issues and returned it. It's very inconvenient so have someone take almost an hour going back and forth to the store. I could assume why he was treated like that but without proof I'll keep it to the employee was very unprofessional. Do better !!!!! I pre ordered the fifa World Cup sticker book and stickers for almost $100 over two months ago. Places like Walgreens and cvs have them now and I just got another email saying it's delayed. Third time being delayed now. Never ordering anything online from here. Host country and was the only store promoting them. Waste of time and money. read more

Went to buy 2 pairs of Brooks tennis shoes asked for help the worker said we don't have them in that size. We had the size we needed in our hand just needed the other. He wouldn't even go look. Highly disgusted with this location staff. I went looking for running shoes. When I got to the shoe section, there were 3 workers standing around talking. Then walked away once I walked up. After browsing I decided to shop elsewhere. While exiting the store, a caucasian couple was in front of me. The cashier told them "have a great day guys" looked at me and turned her back! It's sad how ignorant people still are in this day and age. Turning their nose up towards you! One things for sure and two things for certain, I'm a professional and make twice their pay. My coffee cup that I take with me in the car every morning needed to be retired and replaced. I knew that Dick's carried the YETI Coffee travel cups so since I was at the mall I stopped in to take a look. This store is quite large and the selection was vast. I walked around the store because, in case I've never mentioned it, I have an obsession with black leggings. I think I've bought and worn almost every brand available in this store so I like to keep up on them. I made it back to the YETI display I saw on my way in and chose my new cup. It was $30. Isn't that insane? It's not Dicks' fault though. I bought it and was on my way. I'll definitely stop in this store again when I'm in the neighborhood. read more

Came here to buy a golf shirt. Small ish selection of ladies golf stuff but not a huge deal. Salespeople were friendly and helpful. Store was clean, parking was easy, and they have free wi-fi. I have been here multiple times to get biking supplies but never much of anything else. I recently boycotted them because of the fact that they folded to Vice president Biden's request to stop selling semi-auto sporting rifles. But I think they are lifting this next year, as I have heard rumors from some of the employees. Either way I wanted to get a treadmill to workout over the winter and looked here because we had already looked at Sear's and didn't really like anything we saw. We ended up with a Sole F80 and really like it. We got a Credit card and got $100 off for using the card to pay for the treadmill. I also signed up for their points card and got double points for using the credit card as well. All together they did really well not pressure selling us into anything and giving us the keys to tryout the treadmills. They also helped load it into my van. I may be visiting more often. read more

Can't get any help from staff. They walk right by you and don't even acknowledge your there. Try getting help in the shoe dept. they just look at you. The manager should speak to his employees or something, when they go out of business they can wonder why. The only time they may speak to you is when your leaving and its to say goodbye. read more

Went here last night looking for lacrosse cleats for my daughter, between 6:45-7pm. I searched a few online prior but wanted her to try some on vs gambling with sizing ordering online. We first saw a taller thin bald light skin young black guy, only describing characteristics if management actually looks over the reviews maybe they'll know who I'm talking about as I didnt get names. He was friendly and I asked if he could show me the lacrosse cleats. He said they didnt carry any on the floor and went in back and grabbed a few to show us. They looked odd, more like track shoes so I said arent they supposed to have cleats? He said they had the cleats you can screw in. Given this is our first experience with lacrosse I thought ok not what I quite remember online but he knows more than us. He went back and brought us some sizes we needed and we went to go try them on. Still thinking they didnt seem like the right shoes; when we got to the bench to try them on another guy was standing there so I decided to ask him if what we had were the correct type shoes. He said umm no hence the word "racing" on the bag. Mind you my daughter had just sat down and started opening the first box when I had asked him this question and I was facing him, not scrutinizing what the bag in the box said. Nice condescending way to talk to a customer when asking a simple question on shoes YOUR employee gave to us. Guess he didnt know that, but even if I had grabbed them myself the remark was rude. He then said they don't even carry cleats specific for lacrosse. Yet I see cleats online at Dick's specifically for lacrosse. It may just have been they don't carry any in store as it's not as popular of a sport, but he didn't seem to care to elaborate on his statement when I said I saw them online. At that point I said ok I guess you can take all these back and we walked out. The condescending guy was average to shorter height white guy somewhat stocky with longer brown hair pulled back. My daughter says in a man bun, slicked back/man bun whatever it was, he was definitely not friendly and thrilled to be at work to help anyone. 2 stars is for the friendly guy, not a big deal at all that he got us the wrong shoes. Maybe he didnt know or maybe he was thinking cross country, since I said lacrosse, as we apparently were given "racing" shoes. 3 stars taken off for the DI@@ who couldnt have picked a more perfect place to work. read more

I don't know what it is about Dick's Sporting Goods. They never have exactly what I want, and they are always about 10% more expensive than Cabela's. I just keep coming back. I think it's because although they don't have the selection or prices of the Cabela's at the Mills Mall, I can still look at a gun without having to take a number, get some help buying a golf club for my 5'7" stature, and I can try the latest and greatest from Sole Ellipticals in the same thirty minutes. Sometimes bigger is not better. Upon crunching some numbers I found that I have bought more general outdoors equipment from Dick's than I have at Bass Pro and Cabela's combined. Odd...but true. Dick's Sporting Goods has a GREAT credit card that has a reward of about 3.5%. You have to spend the reward at Dick's. For every $300 you spend outside of Dick's, you get $10 worth of rewards certificates. You get double the reward credit for purchases at Dick's. They don't sell Pistols, but you can "buy" all the ammo you want with your rewards. read more

Went a couple of weeks ago to buy a couple of fishing poles that were on sale and also had a rebate. We noticed the rebate they had on most of the poles expired jan, 31, 2013. we brought this to the guys attention and he just was like i dont know. i felt he could have put a little more effort into assisting us to see why they would put expired rebates on the poles. He basically just said you can buy the pole and try but I pointed out as per the rebate, none would be accepted after 1/31/13. I was very irritated that i even emailed the store over two weeks ago and never even got a response. A sporting good store is a dime a dozen in my opinion so they should probably step up their game. It is a matter of convenience I am sure since they are in the mall but I will not go there again. read more

There is no customer service at this store at all. Made eye contact with 3 different associates and not one even acknowledged me. Just like Walmart----too busy stocking/changing displays to actually assist someone. Tried two different dressing rooms and waited and waited, no one came. read more
