He never looked at the unworn item nor receipt which was present. He asked why and the gentleman stated because the top of the box was ripped. I instantly called the manager when my son arrived home. I explained what happened and the employee lied several times. He first said the item was unsellable and then he said he had no receipt. When I arrived back with him they saw zero issues and returned it. It's very inconvenient so have someone take almost an hour going back and forth to the store. I could assume why he was treated like that but without proof I'll keep it to the employee was very unprofessional. Do better !!!!! To much of our money is spent here for this type of behavior

They really push for signing up for a Kohl's card so just be ready to say no lol We've come in for various reasons - their shoes area seemed messy, their women's area didn't have a lot of styles, and their men's area was probably the best area. I don't know if they are changing over to a new season or they're sold out, but it felt pretty light looking for outfits.
