I visited Windsor this morning to return two dresses. I had already completed the return process…read moreonline through customer service and was given a QR code for an expedited in-store return. The cashier, Arianna (hopefully I'm spelling her name correctly), was amazing -- friendly, professional, and welcoming. She made the process easy. However, what appeared to be the manager approached during the return and asked Arianna if she had inspected the items. I stated clearly that the dresses were brand new, tags intact, and I had just removed them from the plastic while waiting in line. The tone and approach felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. Additionally, this same woman was near the entrance adjusting merchandise when I walked in and did not greet me at all. First impressions matter. My online customer service experience was excellent, and I'm glad I initiated the return beforehand. Unfortunately, the in-store interaction with the manager made the experience feel tense and unwelcoming. I will likely be reaching out to a district manager to share this feedback, as customer service at the leadership level should reflect professionalism and courtesy.

However, my experience has been very pleasant and I'm happy to share. A friend told me she had gotten some quality pieces from there and she suggested I investigated. I'm most stores the curvy/ plus section is a tiny square with huge , boxy, I'll-shaped items randomly thrown together. There's usually little effort placed in the aesthetic and so it's been a turn off to shop those stores. This store had a huge section to the rare nonetheless but it was beautifully put together with even a beautiful mural in one corner. The clothes are trendy, quality pieces with the option of finding multiple options to build an outfit. Mind you, these outfits are more on the super causal side. Think brunch, day parties, festivals etc. I personally would not and have not seen items appropriate for my work environment as an educational leader. The items are moderately priced ranging from around $14.99 for tanks etc to linen pants, gauchos, palazzos, jumpers etc for around $39.99. I think the pricing is very reasonable and the fabric is quality. For many of us curvy folks fabric is a huge issue. If it's cheap that means shrinkage. I've tested the garments and had no issues.
