Slow moving lines. Based on the other reviews, I guess the lines are slow because there aren't enough staff members to keep the lines going. This location isn't super busy on weekdays, but there are always lines, which certainly doesn't encourage business. Lots of parking outside. I can always find sales on clothes here that are in my size. There is not as much to choose from compared to the Roosevelt Field location or any of the Manhattan locations that are a short train ride away, but this H&M does the job. They've extended this branch but apparently reduced staff. I've only ever seen five members of staff in this now much bigger store. Two at the register, one always busy fixing a mannequin and two at the dressing room. Dressing room duo is always polite and helpful. A bit entertaining too. Hey....! They're talking I'm just trying clothes on....and hearing, not listening lol Front staff is always in deep conversation with each other. Always. My trip to this horrible adventure was a online pickup followed by customer support who dealt with the totally mismanaged store. It should be called H & M Half Store. You go in and you may have a good experience and you may not. Having recently relocated back to NY, the level of professionalism and running of a H & M is sad here. How do you misplace an online order. How do you have the Online Order desk unattended. Oh 5 registers open with four people in line doesn't make you busy. Customer support calls and then have their manager call the store and nobody answer the phone. This location isn't Roosevelt Field or prims location, how is it nobody can answer the phone. It's time for an overhaul of business operations. Let's start with clear signage of Online Orders Customers deserve a better shopping experience living up to the brand. read more

H&M is my favorite store period! I'd rather this than forever 21. H&M has better selection in my opinion. Surprisingly this location at Green Acres mall is much bigger than the one at Roosevelt field Mall. This one is bigger, brighter and has more varieties. It's layout is also bigger. One side is for the men and one side is for the women and also a kids section in the back which I might add, is amazing. I don't have kids but I do shop there for my friends children. The staff there is blah. Honestly I'm just there to get what I need to get and get out. Their attitudes don't phase me. I'm just focused on the shopping. They do have fitting rooms which is a plus. I like this location. It's not as big as the Roosevelt Field location but it does have both a decent amount of all the styles they offer. (Sometimes not enough). The clothes are kept very sorted and aisles kept straightened. You can never escape the kind of lines H&M's in general get but the cashiers are quick enough here. Thank GOD winter is almost over. I'm sick of heavy coats, heavy sweaters, heavy boots, thick socks! So restrictive. My body wants to be freee! I want to be reminded that I still have a figure of some sort! I want to show some skin baby! YEAH! My heart does cartwheels at seeing skirts, shorts, dresses, sandals, and bikinis on display again...(btw, their bikinis are AWESOME this year!) This store location in particular--atrocious fitting rooms, long purchase lines, and random couples fighting. [I was browsing and picked up a cute striped skirt] [A girl comes by and picks up another of the same] [Out of nowhere, her boyfriend YELLS at her for trying to buy something he deemed was "too tight" (not tight as in "that's tight dawg", but literally tight] [Thrusting the skirt in his face, she shouts, "So you think this is too tight? Why don't you f*ck off and mind your OWN godd@mn business! I'm so sick of your shit!"] ::everyone's gaze shifts uncomfortably to the floor:: Then she storms off to the fitting room. I live right in the area so i always shop at this H&M location. Today was the LAST DAY! My 1 yr old daughter got a huge deep cut on her finger from some object in the store. Her finger was bleeding all over the store i rushed to the fitting room for help the staff started to do what they can to help me. The managaer CHLOE wasnt much help. No first aid kit & she refused to take a incident report. Her attitude was very nonchalant as my daughter is bleeding all over the store. Im very unhappy with this situation yes accidents happens but it takes nothing to make sure she is ok? & its procedure to take a incident report! Her main concern was for her staff to clean up the blood off the floor. My daughter ended up with stitches in her finger. Coperate will be hearing from me very soon. read more

This location is one of my least favorite. The store itself is neat but the staff is rude. Between everyone looking miserable with an attitude and the fact that when your at the register they having vulgar conversations with each other, complaining and cursing, it is possibly the most unprofessional store I've been to. I only come here if I'm desperate to pick something up. The only reason this location doesn't get one star is because it's actually neat. Not worth the atmosphere though. read more

Went on a interview for Bay Harbor Mall here, interviewer name was Susanna Sanchez she was really false with her personality. She rolled her crusty eyes at me. What's professional about that? She's an awful recruiter, she shouldn't even work in retail as the clothes can barely fit on her stumpy body. Unfortunately, I didn't get a position because the recruiters act like they run H & M, if the franchise really knew about what takes place with the recruiting staff. i went in a purchase a blue sweater for my boyfriend for his interview tommorow . i bought the sweater cash and when it came to taking the sensor off they where unable to do so. i was told my arrin (manager) told me that they didn't have another one and for me to pick another sweater. i liked the sweater i picked not only because of the price but because of the quality. i asked the manager if there is anything he can do about the price to even give a 10% off due to inconvenience.the manager told me no and told the cashier to exchange and charge the extra for the other sweater and walked away. i didn't not get an apology or anything. ii have worked retail for 10+ years being a manager and from my understanding the goal is to make the customer happy. i was not happy leaving at all. i should not be paying the difference because of your processing team being negligent in doing there job correctly. read more

The great thing about H&M is that they do bring out the great fashion pieces that you need for the seasonal line but they do so with a decent quality. I definitely appreciate that they know to balance out the "fashion meets comfort" measure and as I've mentioned, some of their pieces are made very well. So well that I still have a few of the button down shirts and vests in my closet from years ago. Decent setup and layout for the store, but evil long lines. read more

Good store..It's smaller than most so I don't feel COMPLETELY and utterly overwhelmed! The only thing I have to say is that there is usually always a long line and that's due to the fact that there are only two cashiers working. Any how, this is my go-to H&M. It works for me! read more

I love H&M. This one is a little badly organized and kind of cramped compared to the one at the Mall at the Source. I still have clothes from H&M from years ago, but I think the quality was better then. Still, many of the items are really good and you can't beat the prices. read more
