As i was giving more of my personal information the criteria became more and more strict. I was then told that what i was buying was out of the question for that loan type and i was in need of a personal loan with a much higher interest rate. i reluctantly opted for that option as it was my only choice at that point. Days later after giving all of my information and lots of time on the phone i was then denied. If i were to recommend any other place for a loa, it would be any other credit union but Desert Financial. Doesn't surprise that the reviews are as low as they are.

Unfortunately, my experience with Desert Financial above the branch level was completely different. Everyone I dealt with beyond the branch treated me in a dismissive and condescending way, as though I was not capable of making my own financial decisions. I was attempting to complete a documented business transaction, but Desert Financial created a narrative that I might be the victim of a romance scam and used that as the basis to interfere with the transaction. That explanation was inaccurate, insulting, and deeply frustrating. The transaction involved a real business, formal documentation, and available verification, but instead of handling it through a serious diligence process, Desert Financial treated me like a child. To be clear, this review is not a criticism of Sarai. She was excellent. If the rest of Desert Financial had handled the situation with the professionalism and respect she showed, I would have been happy to remain a customer. Unfortunately, the conduct above the branch level made that impossible.

When I still didn't have credit for the funds, three days later, I called and asked why. I was told there is a five-day hold on transfers, and that the screen tells me this when I initiate transfers. I checked, and it doesn't. I really don't like it when a bank lies to me. If you don't mind a bank lying to you, go to Midfirst. I should probably just switch my personal banking to Chase also.

They lied to us about their interest rate. We specifically asked for an interest rate that did not involve the purchase of points to lower it. Adam gave us the rate and told us we were not purchasing points. We found out when it was too late to change it and still close on the house in time that he did in fact charge us points to get that interest rate. 2.) They waited until the day we were supposed to close on our house to send things to the title company and so we barely were able to close by the end of the day. All the information had been signed and was ready on our end well in advance. 3.) Adam would only address my husband in communication even though we bought our house jointly. Even when he needed information from me, he would address it to my husband saying he needed it. 4.) We have owned our house for nine months now and are still getting mail from them trying to talk us into purchasing a stupid "life insurance" policy for our mortgage. Definitely recommend looking elsewhere!

All I asked them to do was fix this so-called mistake and they refused. They just gave me the run around! No idea what they did????? All I know is WF is charging me interest on my incorrect balance! By accepting the principal payment and having it printed on the receipt, WF entered to an agreement to accept the principal payment! I should have been not been told it would go towards my balance if it was not going to be at the time of the deposit! Principal payments go directly towards the balance only, not interest! Principal payment is simple math. The entire principal is subtracted from the balance only! They do not need to contact me to confuse the situation or try and convince me what they did is correct! This is not the first time Wells Fargo has done questionable activities, in fact there is a Netflix (Dirty Money) special just on Wells Fargo illegal activities. This is why they have commercials that state: earning your trust back.... Now the question is how many customers is Wells Fargo doing creative accounting on or hidden fees!?
