We came over for the Christmas extravaganza that goes on the last weekend in November and the first…read morethree weekends in December. The museum is re-outfitted with Christmas garb and the train out front transport you, if desired, to Santas workshop about 500 yards up the way in another train car. Entrance, at least for the Christmas themed stuff, was eight dollars per adult and five dollars per kid. That ended up including cookies and hot chocolate (donate if you desire) and a train ride over to Santas workshop, in addition to all the train exhibits. It initially feels a bit steep, but you end up spending a couple hours there and it was well worth the expense. The place is run by Community volunteers which included folks in high school as well as older train enthusiast. It's nice to see the melding of generations in a place like this. There were a total of five or six rooms that had train sets of varying sizes. One out front included a Thomas the train type setup and the one in the back included cars that were about a foot tall. The set up on these things were pretty impressive and the guys there genuinely seemed like they enjoy putting it on. It's got a better than average gift shop here as well. Plenty of train toys, books and other railroad related pleasantries. The train ride was a fun and fairly unique experience. The train only went about a quarter of a mile, but it was fun for the kids to get to ride in a legit train car. On the way back, we rode in a caboose with some seats that were up above the normal sitting area. Made for a little bit better view and a reminiscing tale for the kiddos. All in all, this place is really solid. It's not huge, but they've got some neat exhibits and it's filled with people who are excited about the place.it's also a great excuse to come down to the lower Valley, hit up a tourist attraction, including the national hop museum across the street, and go check out a restaurant in the area.

Nice clean place that has been there forever way over 30 years is guess. A dance floor and usually live band on Saturdays. Locals hang out chat drink beer and dance. Variety of age ranges from mid 20's to 70's. Easy going. They have Event meals, special day events meals. If you go and your not a Member. The person at window will ask for a volunteer inside. To sign you in as their guest for the eve. You must promise to behave. :) Good for big groups too.

One word: CAVERNOUS!!…read more Yes, this is a space in Sunnyside which opened up a couple months ago, and they have been touting themselves as a venue for live music. For the last couple of weeks this place has brought in a cool salsa band from Portland (Pilon d'Azucar); when I was there they also had a Spanish rock band from Portland open things up. But yes, this space is ginormous! I guess it makes sense, this place used to be a K-Mart back in the day. So when you walk in, if you squint and plug your ears, you can probably remember the Blue-Light Specials. When I was here, they had a place selling tacos & soda, then you walk further in and see the stage to the right. It was cordoned off with gates & hay bales (yes, I said hay bales. We ARE in Sunnyside!). There was quite a bit of security. Well, there were three people from what I could see...that seemed like a lot considering all the empty space in here. So, I guess more people showed up here when I was here compared to the week before (we had a big contingent of salsa addicts from the Tri-Cities exodus on up here). Overall, I liked most of what was here. I mean, you have to give props to anyone for bringing in a salsa band to Eastern Washington. My major complaint: acoustics. Yeah, everything was perfect except for the sound. Maybe they new the acoustics were bad, and tried to blur it out by turning up the speakers to "11". I say this because basically we all needed ear plugs (one of our friends was a lifesaver and went to Wal-Mart to pick up a pack of ear plugs). So yeah, for me I had a hard time finding the beat...either it was because of the loudness or because of dizziness incurred by wearing ear plugs. But from what I could see, the band looked good (they rocked the house at Islands Casino in Kennewick a month ago). Here's to hoping the acoustics can be improved. Because this venue has the potential to be really cool! (C'mon, I'm sure when they announced "Blue Light Specials" back in the day, people had no issue hearing).

Other than the maze it was kinda boring, but once we started in the maze the workers didn't even try to scare us. We would walk around for a while and not see a signal scarer, just to see them in a group talking to each other without their mask even on. They were honestly just rude but to be fair they are highschoolers and it was 5 bucks

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Janelle and Roy Moses are. We have been buying beef from…read morethem for about 15 years and have always had a truly wonderful experience. The amount and love and care they pour into their animals and the pride they take in providing the best grass for the cows to feed on is unparalleled to anything else. We have always received such high quality meat and over the years. Even some of our friends who have tried our beef have decided to buy from them as well. We are so happy with their beef that once a year we make the drive from Colorado to the farm to pick up our meat. It is well worth the trip knowing the quality and care put into the beef. The bonus is that we have developed such a wonderful friendship with the people who raise our food. What a blessing that is! With all that's going on in this crazy world we live in and what seems like the constant attack on pure, God given, clean, healthy food it is so wonderful to have found Holy Cow where we know we are getting the best food money can buy. My husband is working around Sunnyside for a few months and we were in search of someplace…read moredifferent with good food. After reading the previous reviews this sounded like the place. We were willing to accept the bad service as stated in those reviews but we're pleasantly surprised upon entering we were greeted immediately, given menus, drink order taken and order taken. Our food arrived in a timely manner. Dinner salad was ample. Things went downhill from there. The Prime Rib was unseasoned and basically tasteless as was the au juice. We were bummed. My burger was tasty and too large to finish so I took half home with me. That night I ended up sick to my stomach and spent the night in the bathroom. 2 days later I warmed up and ate the half of the burger I had taken home and again spent the night back and forth to the bathroom. Needless to say we will NOT be back.
