We got the discounted margaritas at the bar and I think they were only $7 each. We really liked them! It was hard to find a spot to stand let alone sit since it was so busy. Eventually we got a spot on a couch inside. A company was hosting a party with a buffet and when their event was up they offered the other guests to enjoy what was left of the buffet. My hands shake, when it gets colder, it shakes worse. I used to wear cut off gloves to this game because they kept my hands warm and decreased my shaking and a dealer said he wanted to give me a cup of soup , implying that I guess I look like a homeless person, which is probably true. I wasn't insulted by the comment. It was just insensitive, and I knew he meant no harm by it it. When possible, I sit in the 1 or the 9 seat which is closest to the dealer. I sat in the ninth seat most recently, and I would say fold instead of pushing my cards and the cards are literally next to the dealer and I guess she didn't like that too much because she said something smart about it along the lines of " I guess I'll fold your hand for you. "I said I have a condition that makes my hand shake. It's easier if I just say fold To which she replied, you're not getting any sympathy from me. Nobody wants sympathy. A little empathy would be considerate. It sucks having a disability. It sucks even more that you have to explain yourself. Some of the staff can use some disability sensitivity training. On a good note, All the managers here are really cool and professional. When I asked to exchange my chips to lessen my stack, they help me put it together and of course I always tip. I know my condition can sometimes slow the game down so I tip generously and I am considerate at making fast decisions.

THIS IS A BLAST! So…read moreI was playing in another kickball league here in town (we'll call em WAKA) and it was one of the worst experiences I've had in a social sports community. So when I came to NAKID I was not expecting much different, but was stunned at how different and how much more fun I had! My team is the Awful Waffles which was a team in a different league, we were all so fed up with the competiveness of the other leagues. Where they cuss you out if you make a bad play, make a bad call as a ref, basically have no regard for sportsmanship, and to top it off the league is ran by douchebags.It was so refreshing to come to NAKID, its fun still competitive(in a good way) AWESOME TROPHYS, cute girls for you guys out there, as well as flip cup tournaments every week!!! (AHHH HEAVEN!!) You gotta give it a shot!

The music was on point for the audience and everyone from the staff to the guests were warm and welcoming. Being from the west coast you can definitely notice a difference in friendliness. The layout is really fun, with the club being front and center on the first floor and the play rooms up above in an atrium style. There are two stages, one for dancing and another with a pole. The area is huge, with plenty of tables and space to mingle. If I could give more than 5 stars I would because of what happened afterward. I forgot a very sentimental purse there. I called as soon as we got home and the manager, Vannessa, stayed in touch with me over text, coordinating with the staff and cleaning crew to track it down. Weeks went by and just this morning I got a text that she had found it. It's in the mail on the way home. I'm so touched by this gesture and will be sure to visit again when we are back in Austin.
