I come here for my oil changes. I have yet to have a bad experience, if fact I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

I want to preface by saying I have NEVER written a positive (or in this case NEGATIVE) review & if I could rate this place 0 stars, I would. I have also been to quick service auto shops all my life, all over the US, and I have never been so upset and "played", EVER. I needed to replace JUST my driver side, tail light. When I got there, they said they could, but also said my whole light wiring assembly had to be replaced. I declined that service because it would have cost me $600 which I was not prepared to pay, at least not today- afterall, I've had 'dead lights' replaced before, and this has NEVER been brought to my attention. After they replaced the bulb, I asked for them to sit in the driver seat so I could go rear of my car and make sure everything was working before I cashed out and went on my day. That is when I realized now BOTH SIDE tail lights are not working. They seemed to "not know" a lot, but they knew how to have me leaving the shop with my car in worse shape then it was when I got there. I was just charged for the bulbs which totaled me at $38, but at that point, even $1 would have been too much. I like to think I am fair, and a very understanding customer, because i too work customer service and some people are just "Karen's". However I don't need to be an expert at cars to know that this isn't right. I came in to replace my driver side tail light. Now neither one of my taillights work, and supposedly my whole wiring assembly is to blame. read more

Used to love this place, but for some reason this year their prices have skyrocketed. The beginning of the year they tried to charge me a disposal fee on top of already high price for the oil change. I decided to go to another Amarican Lube in which there was not a disposal fee. I went yesterday to see if things have changed, nope right I pulled up they wanted to charge me $93 before tax for an oil change for my Mazda 3, before they even popped the hood or looked me up in the system. I told them no thanks, and went to another Amarican Lube where the prices were not so ridiculous. Also the prices have tape on them, which is super sketchy. read more

Although the company changed to Grease Monkey the Manager Andrew and Tech Cody did an excellent job.Topped off my liquids,and washed my window.I came for an o/c and engine airfilter..yall did an amazing job and left no oily fingers on my engine cover. Absolutely the worst experience ever getting an oil change. I was the only customer there when another car pulled up. He then stopped servicing my vehicle and started the other vehicles service. He never came back to mine until the other one was completely finished. I then confronted him about it, to which he explained how the other guy was waiting and he had to do his oil change first, even though I was already there waiting, in the bay, with my hood up. I requested a rear differential oil change and he tried to explain to me it's because I had a service other than an oil change Is why I had to wait. A rear differential service is not a 1 hour job. It drains as fast as an oil pan. So such a ridiculous excuse. When confronted about it. He went to hollering and screamin. I own businesses myself and would have fired this guy on the spot. He would have never walked in another one of my business again. I guess since he's the only employee in the entire building there are no other options. I will never pull back in there again for sure! read more

Ive never in my life experiended such a negative experience with a company as I have with this one . I've used American Lube fast for oil changes since I was old enough to drive . I called due to my brakes feeling a little spongy due to hearing they had licensed mechanics that were taking bigger jobs now . The mechanic "Bones" assured me it should be about an hour and a half and he would be in contact after the brakes were ordered to let me know where we stood as far as pricing and anything else he may find such as roters etc when he thoroughly checked the car . By 3pm I had started to worry since I hadn't heard back. Needless to say the mechanic had already left for the day and I was told my car was now inoperable due to an issue as he proceeded to do the brake job without contacting me to advise me or a price ! By the time I got a call from him he had already sounded highly inconvenienced and had the audacity to sound upset and lose patience with my questions . He proceeds to tell me I owe $516 and that my ABS locked and also proceeded to tell me he "left a message " with AAaron who he claims to be the owner of the vehicle when they ran the tag. The car is mine , and is in my name and always has been and come to find out he was lying due to me actually seeing their computer screen with my number being the only POC in the system. The "owner" or the person claiming to be also called and assured me my car was fine , told me three times ... I was actually about to authorize charges when the story changed again to now it being the master cylinder . Due to the car not being drivable on left it there over night as he promised he would have yet another mechanic come look at it from another store on 9 mile . In the morning I contacted my mechanic who proceeded to try and call and get information and even offer assistance or a second opinion on their property . They threatened him and then called the police . They are holding my car hostage and the manager screamed that my car is NOT TO LEAVE HIS SHOP until his mechanic looks at it . I had already had a high suspicion they caused damage to my car but this actually confirms my thoughts . I asked them to put my old brakes back on , call it even and let my mechanic tow it which they refused . They refused to provide me the brakes , refused me paperwork and obviously refused me access to my vehicle . They called the police on me twice ! I provided them a copy of the consumer law in Florida that they laughed at . I wrote them just to have it documented they were not to touch my vehicle but yet still held it five more hours so there no telling what they did in that time . I have contacted corporate and the better business bureau and will continue to fight this no matter the cost . STEER CLEAR ! And by the way this is not AMERICAN LUBE FAST any longer as they are calling themselves "Grease monkeys." read more

I've been coming to this place for about 5 months now. I get a oil change every month because of my type of job and how much i drive & I have never gotten as good of service as I got today with the new management and crew! Jeremy did everything he could to make sure I left happy with a smile wanting to return for another oil change. He offered discounts that the previous guys didnt do. He checked my windshield wipers and even cleaned my front and back window and like i said the guys before didnt do that. He did everything by the book and i definitely left happy! He kept conversation going to make sure I wasnt bored with service and even offered me a job! i am definitely going back! read more

I went here to get my oil changed and the person underneath my car forgot to put my oil plug back in and I started it to check it and my oil light stayed on so then i hear the guy below yelling to shut it off and thats when I find out my car was running woth no oil. Next they check my cabin air filter and it needed to be changed so I ask them how much and he says 36.99, y'all i left there and went to O'rileys and it only cost 9.99 so they marked up that filter $30.00. So needless to say I wont go back there read more

These people tried to charge me $500 for an oil change and tune-up!!!! I pull in at 315 they close at 5, finishing up on it and told me they couldn't get to me till tomorrow. Never again and I will tell everyone I can not to go there. read more
