My husband should have known better...but for the sake of this review...let's pretend he didn't. From start to finish the tech had the worst attitude the entire time changing my oil. He reeked of marijuana. Checked off that my air filter was looked at, the tire pressure was checked, filled my washer fluid, among other things...that did not happen! No sticker for the window. Overall, this establishment needs work! Absolutely ridiculous they are allowed to service vehicles. Stay away at all cost! read more

I got my oil changed back in Jan Ended up costing over $200 with that and some filters. They went out of their way to find things that needed fixed I agreed. Not my complaint. It is neither the time nor mileage to get an oil changed but everyday now my truck kc says I need an oil change. It doesn't. We waited over an hour with only two cars in front. Techs were super slow and completely lost track of the order of vehicles arriving- so we waited through 6 cars before getting serviced. Tech tried to up-sell to high mileage, etc. when the car was low mileage. All of that for an expensive oil change and a "half-off" coupon that was only worth about 1/4 of the price. Great and fast service! The man who helped us was great with telling me the things I needed and didn't need for my car, even kind enough to show me my current air filter. We went to Take 5 oil change with the idea it would be a fast trip. The two employees were hyper focused on one car. We sat in line for well over an hour before being seen. All employees worked exclusively on one customers car. They moved like with no concern. And seemingly no idea how to multitask. The tattooed female spent the entire time talking to the customer. While cars like mine were wrapped around the building. The normal 15 minute process took well over an hour. I understand they have a process they admit too. But dear God instead of telling a current customer about your day or about a past customer you helped. Maybe spend free time working on others cars that are waiting. I usually only use Take 5 but but after this show of complete incompetence. I'm WAY WAY done at this point. They either need more training or a supervisor with them. And no after my long wait I don't want to tell you a story. As I was freaking asked while sweating my ass off. Nor do I want to hear them complain about how hard my filter is to get to. Work smart. Not harder. Talk WAY less. read more

I took my car to Take 5 for an oil change today at the Take 5 on Navy Blvd in Pensacola, FL. After the oil change was complete my engine started knocking really loudly when they started conducting the safety check. I then informed them my car wasn't doing that before my oil change. The mechanic then said it would stop knocking when the oil drops. It didn't my engine actually started jumping. They had to send two techs out for them to tell me to contact Fleet Management. I was then contacted by the garage who has my car telling me the timing is off, & I will need a new engine. My car had no pre-existing engine issues. This is very sad. I am so disappointed, & I really hope they do the right thing. read more

The most unbelievable display of unprofessionalism I've dealt with from at shop. I showed up just after 6pm for an oil change understanding they close at 7. The employee notified me they were short staffed and it was going to be a while. I explained my circumstances and she said they would get me in. After waiting until 7:22pm which I understand is after close. She waited to tell me it was too late and they wouldn't be able to get me in. I waited well over an hour just to be denied service. If the manager or owner wants to reach out I'd be happy to share the full story. I also encourage you to check the cameras to verify the accuracy of the events. And use this as a training tool for future customers. read more

The lady here was extremely nice hence why they are getting one stars. Ed on the over hand is extremely rude and likes to yell at customers when they ask questions. It also took 2 hours to even get seen which I understand might not be there fault but there 10 minute oil change is very misleading. There are three employees all working on one car. Only one person seems to know what they're doing and the others just follow them around like puppies. read more

As a louisiana resident who used this location yesterday before heading home from Hurricane Ida, I can say without a doubt that the customer service was top notch. Employees greeted my wife and I upon driving up with fresh cold water and a smile. They had a few vehicles already being worked on and the third or three bays had boxes in it from a shipment they had received. After a 10 minute wait the guy came up to tell me he had moved the boxes so that I could pull into the third bay out of the rain and get started when the other two vehicles finished up. Everyone was very friendly and they double checked each other's work when the job was completed to ensure my oil level was good and I was not leaking anywhere. They also did not attempt to upsell me on additional items like an air filter. He simply showed it to me and showed that it was still in good condition and recommended I do change it within the next two oil changes. Would 100% visit this location again. read more

Pulled in with one car ahead of me. As of right now it's been almost two hours sitting in the bay. Apparently they drained and filled my transmission fluid with oil. They were nice enough to comp the oil change and transmission flush but they couldn't flush it correctly so now I'm waiting for a tow truck to take my car to the Subaru dealership and wondering how I'll get home to downtown. Let alone work in the morning. Guys are nice but this is beyond absurd. They couldn't call an Uber or Lyft because they needed to use their corporate card but it's not tied to any car services. So now fingers are crossed a Pensacola lucky cab may be here at some point. So I have no car, stuck on hwy 29, and I'll never visit a "Take 5" again. At Navy Blvd location this past week they blocked the bays with their cars and turned me away 40 minutes before closing time. Had one good experience but they've go gone down in my last 3000 miles.... read more

The site @ 8723 Pensacola Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32534 is HORRIBLE! I gave them multiple chances but they physically damaged my car multiple times, they left tools in my engine that I was kind enough to return, the second time I was there they gave me attitude when I wanted to leave because after almost 3 hours of them on the phone with their help desk department trying to get their computer to work, I didn't want to wait anymore. The third time I went there they not only physically damaged my car again but they took a perfectly working car that just needed a routine oil change and caused it to start overheating ( oil temp dash light blinking red and smoke coming out of the hood), when I took it back to them, the site manager got involved and they spent a while on it and I could tell they were doing stuff but they claimed they found nothing. Surprise, surprise... My engine didn't overheat after that. Not only will I NEVER take my car back to this location... But I'm warning EVERYONE to do the same! read more
