Great vibes on a Thursday and got really busy late into the night. There's a bar and large seating area with another large section with many pool tables. There were 8 of us, we had so much fun we closed the bar down. Definitely recommend, a great place to hang out. read more

I've been to this establishment several times in the past without issue, but unfortunately, my recent visit was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Upon ordering my first drink, the bartender approached me in a disrespectful manner, insisting on a tip before I had even received my drink. She went so far as to tell me not to order from her again if I wasn't going to tip -- all while I was simply waiting for a pool table and had just arrived. A few minutes later, while I was outside on a phone call, the same bartender came out to confront me about a review I had left -- despite the fact that my drink was still inside, unfinished. When I returned to finish it, I discovered that my drink had been dumped out, even though I had paid for it. This type of treatment is completely unacceptable. I have no idea why I was singled out, especially given my history of visiting this place without any problems. Based on this experience, I can no longer recommend this bar to others. I waited 1.5 hours to play pool and paid $30 on drinks only to find out once I finally got my table that I had to buy more drinks in order to play. The bouncer or whatever loser who works there was super rude about it. I'm a small woman and I had to drive home bruh. Making people buy more drinks like that is illegal. They just want us drunk. Rudest nastiest bartender ever.... I come here all the time and the one time I'm hella excited to go it's not the usual 3 girls that RUNN that place !! This new random lady black hair and old was so rude and kicked us out cuz she didn't wanna pour 20 beers.... group of friends were just coming to pregame with a beer or shot and she started cussing us out because she had to do her job....... First time in slicks at 6pm on 7/25 with my group of friends and the birthday girl wanted to come here since it's her favorite place and the bartender was mad that we came in, yes it was a lot of us like 25 but that doesn't give you the right to cuss at us saying we should of called in. I've been here twice when other spots are closed during the week and overall it's a good vibe spot. Most people are here for the pool tables. Not too sure how those function as both times we just came to get a pitcher. There is a connected enclosed smoking room which is nice if you smoke and want to still be part of the action. It is completely unprofessional and inappropriate for any bartender, including Andrea, to treat customers rudely simply because her unwanted flirting is rejected--especially when those customers are clearly in committed relationships. A bartender's responsibility is to create a respectful and enjoyable atmosphere, not to let personal motives interfere with service. Andrea's behavior--acting cold and rude after being turned down and then becoming visibly upset over receiving a low tip that directly reflects her poor service--is unacceptable and reflects a serious lack of professionalism. I've been trying to contact the management for the past 3 to 4 days to report her conduct, but unfortunately, I have yet to reach anyone . It's incredibly disappointing that such inappropriate and uncomfortable behavior is being ignored, and it raises concerns about how seriously customer feedback is being taken. A couple of friends and I had the best time talking to Michelle the bartender. She has a great personality and really enjoys talking with everyone. She kept us entertained while enjoyed her drinks and great food. Cant wait to go back to see her and enjoy talking with her again. First time the blonde bartender charged us $$$ for two beers.... She gave us mugs but I saw her giving her regulars pints. You can ask me what beer I want but not the size? Not friendly at all but they expect us to leave a tip????? Huh??? And then tonight the brunette bartender charged us what seemed to be the more ideal amount for two beers. This place is an ok dive bar and pool hall. They have maybe 7 pool tables in the back. You get the balls from the attendant. I assume you pay by the hour but I haven't played like that in there. They have a full bar in the front room with a pretty impressive number of beers on tap. They serve two sizes of beer. The booze are poured using one of the Berg systems that measure out exactly a shot. I prefer having a free poured drink since I like to gamble a little on how much I will actually get in my drink. They offer some food like burgers and chicken fingers but I haven't tried them yet. I'll let you all know when I do. I have friends who go here all the time so I do too. It's pretty divey though so it isn't always my first choice. Most of the bartenders are nice though so there is that. read more

My boyfriend and I wanted to play pool at slicks, I'm a Bilateral Above Knee Amputee with a service dog. The bouncer at the door denied my service animal and refused access. Didn't let us in even though my dog is a legit service dog. This was extremely upsetting and highly illegal against the Americans with Disabilities Act... I do not recommend going to this business. From what I remember all the bartenders were very attentive, I didn't have to wait no more then a minute to place my drink order. the place was crowded but still had open tables to the right side of the bar , you got to get there extra early to get a pool table, I ended up ordering 2 samplers and enough beer to know I had enough and once the bill came it was either happy hour or I got hooked up. This is the definition of a great dive bar! Slicks is the local watering hole for pool players in the Norco/Corona area. I've visited this spot on both weekdays and weekends and there is always a good crowd at the bar and the billiards area. With a total of seven pool tables it's pretty easy to find an open spot for your group. While they don't charge per game, you have to purchase a drink in order to join in on the fun. Luckily the bar serves up all the classic cocktails, as well as a large selection of beers! They also have a full service kitchen where you can order a variety of fried foods. read more

This place was good while I was here. The atmosphere was very relaxed, a big variety of music played which was fun for me and my friends. The tables were decent and spaced apart enough to make your life easy. The food was typical fried bar food and was pretty good. The staff was very nice despite the narrative that follows: The reason I leave two stars is because they gave my drivers license to someone else. They did not verify first and last name or ask for a card to verify their name and get their ID back. So another person took my drivers license home. I didn't want to take theirs because I instantly understood how stressful it is for someone else to have your license. I left my contact information and called back a few days later to follow up: no updates, but they said they would call me once my ID was returned. Long story short: the other person's dog chewed my ID and they returned it about a week later. HOWEVER, I found out they returned it because that person was sweet enough to Venmo me for a replacement license. Slick's never called me back. Failed on multiple levels, 2 stars well-earned. read more

Initially I thought this place was great. Be careful with the aggressive bouncers.... yes it's one of those spots.. if they find a reason not to like you, they start using anything as an excuse to put their hands on you! Even try and run up behind you to kick you twice even when you've walked yourself out... yes one of those places and of course here in the U.S. the owner staff and police will take the bouncers side no matter what. I find this ridiculous since some bouncers are just like two of these guys there. If I could leave negative stars I would! read more
