Are they still open? Got a drink here in August but last month I came around and they were closed. Cute patio. Hope they're open today.

I had the Caesar salad and the blackened salmon with veggies, and both were delicious. No complaints there. But the moment that sealed the deal was when my husband decided he was going to be "healthy" and ordered a Coke Zero. Naturally, I informed him that putting the word Zero in the name doesn't magically turn it into water. Michelle immediately took my side, and just like that I knew she was my favorite person in Norco. She played along with our jokes, kept us laughing, and made us feel like regulars even though it was our first visit. So yes, the food was excellent. But if Michelle is working, ask for her section. She has great taste... especially when it comes to knowing who's right in a marriage debate.

I had to ask 3 times for ranch, asked for napkins which never came, asked for a glass of water which we never got, and didn't get a single refill on any drinks. On top of that, didn't get a "welcome" or even a smile. It's almost as if we were bothering her. I love the food but having to wait 20 minutes for a tiny cup of ranch, having to basically beg for napkins for water and still not getting it really makes the experience not very fun or inviting. I don't think we'll be back.

As always, it was extremely crowded, but despite that, we only waited about 10 minutes. Once we were seated, Ronald took care of us. He was an amazing server--very entertaining, friendly, and incredibly kind. We really appreciate the great service he gave us. The ribeye was absolutely amazing. I ordered mine medium, and it was cooked perfectly. My boyfriend ordered his medium well, and his steak was also cooked exactly the way he wanted it. The appetizers and sides were delicious as well. The portions were unbelievably large--it almost felt impossible to finish everything. I couldn't even finish all of my appetizers and sides. Including our drinks and a brownie with ice cream, we paid around $160. I know that's quite a lot for two people. We ordered more than usual because we wanted to try several things we hadn't had before, but I still think the prices are slightly above average. The restaurant itself was very clean, and you could tell that everyone was working hard and doing their best. I definitely think everyone should experience this place at least once. The only issue was the restrooms. I completely understand that this is a very busy restaurant, but because of how crowded it gets, I think the restrooms need to be cleaned more frequently.

As it turned out, the place wasn't busy. A special treat was that a group of bluegrass musicians was jamming as we ate. Apparently they are there every Saturday morning. The ambience is quite dark and moody with wood paneling and minimal lighting that made me use my phone flashlight to read the menu more easily--more of the saloon vibe than a restaurant. But it fit the Western theme. The breakfast menu was pretty varied, the portions were large, and the food was pretty good, though not the best I've had. There was an error in one order, and I'll give the server slack because a group of ten is a lot to handle, but syrup arrived late for the pancakes, and butter and jam had to be requested for the biscuits. One odd thing was that they had no decaf coffee. The family was pleased. Overall, I'd call it a solid but not quite stellar choice for an old-fashioned breakfast in a theme setting.

Since it is open air, I imagine midday can get warm and winter evenings a bit chilly, but they have plenty of heaters scattered throughout to keep things comfortable. Our server was fantastic and took the time to explain that everything is made completely from scratch, from the breads and pastas to every sauce, and the quality truly speaks for itself. The food and drinks: Chili Garlic Fries: Super crispy with bold flavor and the perfect level of kick. The house ranch served alongside is incredible. Caesar Salad: A classic, straightforward Caesar that was fresh, crisp, and exactly what you'd expect. Bolognese: Generous portion (easily shareable!) loaded with tender, flavorful chunks of meat. The creamy ricotta on top pulls the entire dish together. Carbonara: Truly authentic. Made the traditional way with egg yolks, black pepper, cheese, and savory pork bits with no heavy cream shortcuts. The pasta itself was cooked to an absolute, perfect al dente. Drinks: The NA tea was refreshing, and the fig infused bourbon Old Fashioned had wonderful flavor notes from the infusion, though it leaned slightly on the sweeter side. Quick tip on finding it: The entrance is not inside the main hotel lobby. Look for a dedicated elevator entrance just to the left of the hotel. There is a large sign directly above it, so it is super easy to spot. Between the ambiance, top tier scratch kitchen dishes, and great service, we will definitely be back. 5/5 stars!
