However, the skipped a day and went to another project without letting us know. Then they showed up late the next day. Communication was challenging: no answer most of the time, had to leave numerous messages. The pricing was good overall but they charged $60 for a 2X4 when we did not even use the 3 sheets of plywood included in the contract. It was difficult to get completion photos from them but finally got them.

My experience with them was interesting, as I didn't know that they also work with the Florida Dept. of Transportation (FDOT) in keeping our roadways, like I-95, free from debris along the shoulders. When I recently emailed FDOT, I mentioned that the corridor between Hillsboro Blvd. and Palmetto Park Rd., on I-95 was full of tires, trash, accident debris, etc. and asked if it could be cleaned up, as it's an eyesore and dangerous. I also had pictures sent, that my wife had taken, while I was driving. Upon receiving my email, a very nice lady, Jazmin Wilson, with Oasis, called me and she provided very encouraging information. Oasis would be cleaning in that area and she would let me know when it would happen. Within a few days, she called and said the work was completed and she sent me photos of the before and after cleanup. We have been out and about and Oasis did a fine job. Thanks to Oasis and Jazmin was a huge part of a super outcome. Customer service, in many businesses is sorely lacking, but I can tell everyone that Jazmin was amazing. She gets get 5+ stars from me and is a credit to her profession. Thank you, Jazmin.! Thank you Oasis. From beginning to end, this project was completed in first class fashion. We filed a police report and the supervisor assured us that this will be taken care of. Well it is 6 months later and our insurance company said that they are denying the claim. We even tried to flag their employees down off the mowers, and they flipped us off as they drove past. They could see that our car was in distress, and they claimed they never saw us! We will be taking this further. I can't believe how dishonest this company is. They have not claimed any responsibility for this accident. I received a response that said this was not plausible. Here is my response to that: As a response to the owner below: 1) the crew was mowing, not picking up debris. 2) I saw the piece of asphalt come out from the back of the mower, bounce off the right lane, and then hit my hood. 3) your mower had just come around a sign and was heading down an embankment so that the back of the mower was lifted when the chunk was shot into the road. 4) your workers denied even seeing us on the side of the road despite the fact that we have video of them driving right by us. 5) I know that the driver had to hear that large of a piece being hit, therefore, he is lying. 6) your supervisor and the Road Ranger told us that this occurs a couple times a year. 7) we have a police report. I think this is all I need to say.

What started off as a decent experience shortly turned into a nightmare. After giving our initial deposit to Myssi Kelly of 6006.96 for her to outsource to The Carport Company in Ocala to build our building things went sour. First of all it began with her so called AMAZING "CONCRETE" guy who does all her slab pours for her. He showed up at our property and was a complete joke. Not to mention discussing with my husband how a couple of his workers get high and go off and smoke on the job. Like WTF? That's a HUGE red flag as well as a liability especially being on our property about to pour concrete. Then the guy decided to ghost us and never returned calls. We reached out to Myssi and she claimed to be clueless. We then decided to use another concrete company which was amazing and we had to do the footwork on our own. Second, The Carport Company point of contact Brenda was who was assisting us was a complete joke. She never communicated properly with us and was eventually fired half way through the process of them engineering our plans. When we received the plans and submitted them to permitting that was the last we heard from her until another young lady called us and stated Brenda got fired and now she is our new point of contact. (Which Myssi also claims she did not know she was fired). I find it kinda funny that if you are selling a product and outsourcing you would be very aware of these things. It doesn't stop there, upon delivery of our materials to start the building, our installer shows up and asks us where the scissor lift is? We look at him like what are you talking about? We were never told this and this was the first time hearing about it. My husband decided to reach out to the company and speak to them and the lady stated yea your supposed to rent it and should have been told that. No worries she says you can go rent one from Sun Belt for the small cost of $2000. WHAT? You have got to be joking. We called Myssi and she says, I'm not saying I did tell you & Im not saying I didn't tell you all that but I believe its in the contract. Really? Don't you think that is a key point to discuss to clients especially when they are spending a shit ton of money on a product you are selling? Needless to say, before we pulled the trigger rent it their installer (who's name I will not mention) proceeds to tell my husband that the materials and product that were sold to us was definitely not the product that he was delivering. He stated he did not feel comfortable installing the building because it was not safe and if he installed it we would not be happy with it. He also stated it would not be secure due to the steel tubing that was sent out for such a larger build. H then states it is typically used for your smaller shed units. He also stated the building would sway. This is your top installer and he is supposed to build a unit that you claim is worth 60,000? My husband and I decided not to have them install the building after speaking to him and he stated that we should look at other companies because we would not be satisfied. We reached out to Myssi to let her know what was going on and she was like what? Your kidding me? Like she had no clue and basically stated she has never had this happen before. Needless to say Myssi said, she needed to make some calls and would be back in touch with us later. Later came and went and didn't hear back from her. My husband called the next day to speak with her and now she says she has anther gentleman who can come out and talk to us about building our building. I mean are you serious? After everything we have been through at this point we just wanted our deposit back so we could go on our marry way. Myssi refused. She claims she did everything she could to justify keeping it but of course this is incorrect. Trying to scramble to find someone else to build our building doesn't justify ALL the issues that have taken place not to mention why on earth would we even trust anything you offer us now. Truth of the matter is we now have a blank slab of concrete, three piles of fill dirt sitting in our yard which we paid for prior to the deposit given, no building & no justification as to why Myssi feels she DESERVES to keep our money and not refund it to us or even portion of it as we tried to discuss with her. She feels she can justify why she is keeping it. I will continue to spread the word on what a terrible experience we had and also what a shallow human being Myssi really is. Don't let that fake smile fool you! My husband & I have chalked it up to donating to the low life Myssi charity. That is exactly what she is and what she represents. I truly hope in the future her karma comes back to bite her because we all know it always does.

Some things that I was looking for, watching, and generally noticed during my process of finding a roofing company: Locally Owned Solid customer service follow-up to my initial online request to companies. Better Business Bureau BBB profile (not just the rating) Google and other online reviews and referrals (i/e local facebook pages etc) How would they treat me, a woman, buying a roof? Did they ask me questions or try to address my concerns? Were they using quality materials and did they seem reliable to install it properly so that all warranties would hold up over time? After the consult, did they badger me or were they patient, or just not care and follow up at all? True Force ticked all those boxes for me, plus some. I am thrilled to be able to work with a company that is not only locally owned but also veteran-owned and operated. After getting quotes from a few companies, I researched things like their BBB pages, social media, and a google deep dive past my initial look at reviews. Though some companies boast a top BBB score, they have really bad customer service and it is evident by how they treat people submitting issues on their BBB page. Some companies tried to get me to sign a work release and give them the project before they inspected the roof or gave me a quote or work plan since my homeowners insurance would possibly cover some repairs. On my roof inspection Jake and Rodolfo introduced themselves, asked questions, did a walk of the property, got on the roof, etc then provided me with a presentation and quote. My experience with Jake and Rodolfo was fantastic, they were highly professional, kind and treated me with respect. One thing I appreciated was True Force was very clear with the terms of their company warranty and it's length. Most companies were saying "lifetime" which sounds like they get to decide if the "lifetime" is 10 years or 2 years based on how they feel at the time of the issue, no real time commitment to servicing any future issues that may arise. The professionalism of the sales team and online reviews made me confident that the company would not cut corners and compromise my home or any warranties purchased from the materials manufacturer (GAF). Chase was the crew leader for my home and he did a great job of keeping me up to date on everything, and letting me know every issue this old house had in store for them, and talked to me and showed me what was going on as it was happening. The decking wasn't what was expected and there was a lot of rotting wood from not having proper ventilation, tree overhang, etc. They took care of all the rotted wood and made my roof more secure. The air quality in my home started changing by the next day, and my home feels much cooler. The crew was super respectful of my home and kind. They busted their butts on two record heat temperature days to fix my house. Another note of importance is True Force does have different financing options inhouse and they were super patient with me while I was waiting for the insurance settlement and exploring other finance options. I ended up using one they offer and it took less than a minute to fill out the application and get approved for that particular one. It was a really easy experience and their interest rate and no penalty for early payoff was better than any deal I was being offered through popular lending sites.
