I interviewed about 6 moving companies and right away from talking with Abner I felt comfortable. Other moving companies were very persistent, trying to sell me, and seemed dishonest. Abner was very responsive and straight forward but did not contact me again after initial quote until I decided to go with him. He garunteed pick up date and arrival date (and time and was 10 minutes early each time!) which was huge for us as our move had to be very scheduled and other companies quoted us a 2 week interval (or more!) of when our items would be delivered. His crew in Houston arrived and packed our entire apartment, included disassembling basic items. They were extremely professional and efficient. Every item even valuable and breakable items arrived in perfect condition. He met us in San Fransisco 5 days later and him and two others unloaded all our boxes and assembled any dissassembled items. Again very professional and efficient. Iron back movers turned what could have been a very stressful move into 0 stress. Abner was extremely hardworking, professional, and easy to work with as was every member of his team. We hope we can use him for any future moves even though we are no longer in Houston!

They were very responsive when we inquired (via text) and I liked that they charged per hour based on the number of movers you requested. We scheduled the moving date, signed a contract, and were ready to go! On moving day, the movers arrived promptly and they were so quick in moving everything! within two hours everything had been moved out of our townhome! It took them another hour and a half to move everything to the new place. Very impressed! They also wrapped certain pieces of furniture for us and disassembled as well as assembled others. Cost was reasonable as well. I would say they are more cost efficient compared to other movers we had inquired. Overall we had a good experience with iron/back movers and would use them again for our next move!

There were red flags I ignored and shouldn't have. We called twice and got two different rates…read morewithin the same day. 100/hr cash 120/hr card first rate we received, these rates hiked up to 135 cash 175 card. We did a video call so they can give an estimate, we never received an estimate. The movers came to pack move and unpack. They didn't know they were supposed to be packing/unpacking. I had to call and confirm instead of them. They left my front door wide open and never turned the gate back on so if I hadn't gone back for cleaning supplies my door would've been left open over night. When I told the only guy who spoke English he said "I wasn't the last one out" no apologies just a lazy answer. They never unpacked properly. I started unpacking the kitchen, so they had an idea of where things went. They didn't try, they just unpacked random stuff and threw it in places. Appliances were disassembled which could have easily been put together. My cake stand was in two thrown on the counter top with a box over the glass in an unsafe manner. They said they were scheduled to come back tomorrow and when I called to complain about how the place left they said the job was done and I should've said something before they left. I told them they should leave instead of waiting for me to return after picking up my daughter they told me had to pay. Which understood I'll pay for the day, but the packing job was not done. These are scammers. It's been a long time since I dealt with a business like this but this one beware.

Knowledgeable about Einstein's scheduling, discussed what I needed and what was unnecessary or not ab. She got my name/number and basically all the information from me that was needed to put together a fair quote. Alex called me back within a couple of hours and confirmed all the information I had given to Joanna. Alex provided the cost to relocate my mother from BACLIFF to Crosby (about 1 hr drive time). He explained what I could expect from the crew and what were the expectations of me. Come Tuesday, Moving Day. We were ready! Einstein Crew of 2 showed and went straight to work. Really did not have too much left to move, but what we had left; was big, bulky, heavy, old, fragile and very sentimental which included 60+- packed boxes of two very old table lamps sent from Cuba, china, crystal and silver dinnerware service for 12; my Daddy sent from Japan to Mom as a wedding gift in 1953. They married when came in on short leave and all the china, crystal and silver are all in wedding photos. So... we still enjoy Daddy's gifts when we are all together and we set a place for him wishing he were there. Our haul may not have been as large as most, however it very important to our Mom that everything arrived in one piece... which it did! Our movers were Shawn and Joshua... they both came from good families. I will be using them again for future moves... hope and pray not anytime soon. They were a bit more expensive, but worth it. We have alot of antiques and we were so happy to see all of them carefully wrapped with moving blankets. Not a scratch was made! I also want to applaude the guys that moved us. However... it was up three floors. Elvin and Milton showed up, worked quickly and efficiently. Like Samson from the Bible, or something from the Lord of the Rings, these two chaps were carrying things I did not know was physically possible. I used their service yesterday (03/29/20), they gave me a 12-3pm window, the guys called me prior to coming out, gave me a heads up which I needed because I was not at the pick up location. They got to my apartment at 12:10. Marcus, Vann, and Kurtis show up, and my first thought was, "wait did I ask for a 3 man crew or 2?" because the 3 man crew was extra per hour. They told me, no you're down for a 2 man crew but you're getting all 3 of us today! Wow, how great is that, no extra charge! So, right away I informed the guys that I added an extra stop (to a storage unit), than originally planned. No issue. I let them know which items were for storage and which items were going to the new house. After we got that handled, THEN they started the clock when the first box got touched. So, you don't have to worry about this company trying to take advantage of that hourly rate. They start when the first box is touched and stop the clock when last box is dropped off. These guys did an amazing job and were very careful with the boxes that i had marked fragile, they communicated well with each other and that lead to getting the job done quicker (than I expected). At the storage unit, they put it together like a puzzle getting all my boxes and china cabinets, and etc in place. Once at the new house, they were on top of it, they got everything moved in and set up really quickly.
