Kevin and his team worked hard and were flexible. When my leasing office wasn't open and the freight elevator wasn't accessible, they were able to pivot and adapt quickly. The team had a positive attitude and greeted me with a handshake and a friendly smile first thing this morning. They all went above and beyond to make sure everything was placed exactly where I wanted it. Nothing was damaged, and they treated all of my home, furniture, and belongings with respect. Not to mention, I asked if they would drop of my mattress at my new place down the street from my storage unit (an added extra stop) and they said they would! After the final stop, they closed me out and everything was done in 2 HOURS!! I was shocked. I interviewed about 6 moving companies and right away from talking with Abner I felt comfortable. Other moving companies were very persistent, trying to sell me, and seemed dishonest. Abner was very responsive and straight forward but did not contact me again after initial quote until I decided to go with him. He garunteed pick up date and arrival date (and time and was 10 minutes early each time!) which was huge for us as our move had to be very scheduled and other companies quoted us a 2 week interval (or more!) of when our items would be delivered. His crew in Houston arrived and packed our entire apartment, included disassembling basic items. They were extremely professional and efficient. Every item even valuable and breakable items arrived in perfect condition. He met us in San Fransisco 5 days later and him and two others unloaded all our boxes and assembled any dissassembled items. Again very professional and efficient. Iron back movers turned what could have been a very stressful move into 0 stress. Abner was extremely hardworking, professional, and easy to work with as was every member of his team. We hope we can use him for any future moves even though we are no longer in Houston!

We scheduled the moving date, signed a contract, and were ready to go! On moving day, the movers arrived promptly and they were so quick in moving everything! within two hours everything had been moved out of our townhome! It took them another hour and a half to move everything to the new place. Very impressed! They also wrapped certain pieces of furniture for us and disassembled as well as assembled others. Cost was reasonable as well. I would say they are more cost efficient compared to other movers we had inquired. Overall we had a good experience with iron/back movers and would use them again for our next move!

We did a video call so they can give an estimate, we never received an estimate. The movers came to pack move and unpack. They didn't know they were supposed to be packing/unpacking. I had to call and confirm instead of them. They left my front door wide open and never turned the gate back on so if I hadn't gone back for cleaning supplies my door would've been left open over night. When I told the only guy who spoke English he said "I wasn't the last one out" no apologies just a lazy answer. They never unpacked properly. I started unpacking the kitchen, so they had an idea of where things went. They didn't try, they just unpacked random stuff and threw it in places. Appliances were disassembled which could have easily been put together. My cake stand was in two thrown on the counter top with a box over the glass in an unsafe manner. They said they were scheduled to come back tomorrow and when I called to complain about how the place left they said the job was done and I should've said something before they left. I told them they should leave instead of waiting for me to return after picking up my daughter they told me had to pay. Which understood I'll pay for the day, but the packing job was not done. These are scammers. It's been a long time since I dealt with a business like this but this one beware.

During my recent move, I decided to give them my repeat business. Huge mistake. You get what you pay for. They quoted $110 per hour plus $70 admin fee, minimum 2 hours. That was fine. However, when they showed up, they advised that they charge $15 per roll for shrink wrap. I was in agreement with using the shrink wrap and blankets but they advised they were not sure how many rolls they would use. Then it was changed to 3 rolls. I've used movers in the past and they have always included shrink wrap and blankets in their pricing. However, I've also seen how the shrink wrap is used and 3 rolls is grossly overestimated. I've included a picture of the shrink wrap roll for reference. After signing for them to start the job, a never ending agreement about the number of shrink wrap rolls they would use, and the clock already ticking, I agreed for them to move forward with the additional $45 scam. Instead, they went outside, spoke amongst themselves and someone on the phone and advised that they would not be completing the job and left. I called the primary phone number and spoke with the owner who advised me that I should have accepted the scam pricing from the beginning and then disconnected the phone call. Cancelling a job because you don't want to be called out for overcharging for shrink wrap that should be included in your job is ridiculous. Moving is stressful. To walk out on someone during a time like that is not someone that deserves your business. The bright side is that I had another moving company's card on my door. I contacted them and they were available in the late afternoon. They ended up coming a few hours earlier. The price included the shrink wrap and blankets. They completed a HUGE job in 2.5 hours. I paid more per hour and tipped the 3 movers well. The fact that Astros Moving Company attempted to ruin my day over $45 is ridiculous. They would have made much more than that in tips and repeat business. Edit as of 05/09/25. In response to the owner. I NEVER advised them that I did not have the money to pay the ridiculous $45 for three rolls that were clearly not going to be used. After agreeing to disagree, I actually advised them to move forward. They chose to walk away instead. Not only did I pay more than the $45 with the other moving company, I tipped them generously. In business, some things are about the principle, not the money.

This was my first time ever using professional movers and I must say that the Flores Moving Company will be the only moving service I use from here on out. Yuri was an outstanding pro throughout the whole process of inquiring about rates, booking an appointment and the actual move. Mind you, my move was booked 7 weeks in advance but fell on the week of the Hurricane Harvey aftermath. I couldn't move into my complex because it was inaccessible. I called Yuri the day before my move in and he graciously accepted my indefinite re-schedule without even charging me a penalty like some moving companies will do. I cancelled on a Tuesday, the day before my move. Called Yuri back on Wednesday to reaffirm another appointment and he called me back Thursday to booked me for Friday. I was shocked! I was expecting to be told I'd have to wait a week or more because of the storm's aftermath and the timing of it being at the first of the month. Yuri assured me that it would be no problem and he could assist in my move. I booked a 3 man crew with Yuri himself being apart of the crew. They were 30 minutes early to my appointment. Very courteous, efficient, and professional. They got to work immediately and didn't waste any time. When we arrived to my new complex, the elevators were not working. My apartment is on the 4th floor. I thought I'd immediately be told by Yuri that my rate would change because initially they were to have elevator access. That didn't happen. All Yuri said to me was "Don't worry, it's not a problem." Again, I was shocked! Even with having to work harder to get my very, very, very heavy belongings to the 4th floor with no elevators, Yuri and his crew didn't damage or scratch a thing. Move done within 4 hours and it wasn't even lunch time yet. They also helped me setup my bedroom and arrange the furniture as I would like it before leaving. I'd highly recommend Flores Moving Company to anyone. They're reasonably priced, respectful of you, your belongings, and your time. Used these movers 2 times in the last month! First for my big move at the beginning of this month and then today for one smaller move. The first move the 3 guys that helped me were Ricky, Carlos and Mikey and they were fantastic! Super great attitude and they arrived an hour earlier than the beginning of the time frame. I was still moving smaller things and had more boxes to pack and taped, so I kind of panicked when they were going to arrive earlier BUT they all ended up helping me pack the last minute items and tape! SUPER helpful. We finished the move in exactly 2 hours so the pricing was amazing for all we got done. No hiccups, no damage.They were quick and efficient and had great team work. We had a couple of laughs on the way and great communication! I actually requested this same group of guys for the second move but I think there was a misunderstanding because it was 2 guys that I have never met before, Nelson and his son Jimmy. Arrived on time. They were quick as well and were focused. Didn't waste any time but Jimmy did scuff up some areas on the walls but they weren't deep. No problem wiping them off. Overall, I would use this company again. Cant really go wrong with any of the guys that work here! Definitely recommend for your moving needs. read more

Mr. Yuri is very professional and very polite over the phone, he answered all my questions and gave me a great quote. My company was moving locations and we scheduled a date and time for the movers and packers to meet us at the location and as they promised they were there and as soon as they got there they began to work. They did an awesome job packing and they did a great job moving all the equipment and furniture we had. What was so amazing about this company was the movers treated all my equipment and furniture as if it was there belongings. They did such an awesome job. These men worked from the time they started to the time they put the last piece of equipment/furniture in storage. Flores Moving Company is amazing! Nelson and his crew were incredible! Moving during a pandemic is stressful, but Nelson and his crew really helped relieve so much of the stress. They arrived BEFORE the scheduled time, and once they got the green light from us, they went to work! Not only were they all safe (masks, etc.), but they all handled our large and small items with great care. They were also patient with our fur baby (dog) who was very interested in the moving process! Haha! Nelson even paused the move during the worst of a thunderstorm to make sure our furniture was not damaged by the rain or by an accident caused by the rain. Nelson was a wonderful leader, and he communicated with us during every step of the process. His entire team was great. Flores Moving Company did an impressive job during such a stressful time. I hired Flores moving Co, for my move. I initially thought i would just need one truck and 3 guys but when I spoke to Yuri, he walked me through the entire process and he recommended that a move my size (3 bedroom house plus, laundry room, plus workout equipment) would be more efficient if I hired 2 trucks which comes with 6 guys! This ended up saving us so much time! The team arrived promptly even earlier than promised. The main director team members quickly walked through each room to get an assessment of items that needed to be moved and quickly got to work! They asked questions along the way to ensure they only took what was needed. They dissembled furniture quickly and carefully, they used plastic wrap to protect our furniture and major appliances like our fridge. They are great! We've used their services for moving from apt to apt twice before. This time we moved from an apartment to a house, and needed to move a lot of stuff. We were supposed to move a week before Christmas, but couldn't plan it due to work and so the best day for us was Christmas Eve. We called Yuri and asked (in-spite of the guilt), half expecting them to say that they can't come on Christmas Eve. To our surprise, they said they could come! On the day of the move, they came promptly on time, and the whole thing (including 45 mins drive) was done in 3.5 hrs!! They were very careful around the house, and thanks to them we could actually spend Christmas day in the new house. I went on line and found Flores Movers. The on line reviews were 5 stars. I took a risk not knowing anything except what I saw on line. I am glad that I did. They were on the job early. I found them to be knowledgeable,careful,efficient,professional & very affordable. I had Nelson and two others move a 30x10 storage unit full of furniture about 2 miles to my new home in The Woodlands today. Everything went extremely well. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to family and friends. I received six quotes for this move and am so glad I decided to hire Flores because I got quality and economy. Flores Moving has been so responsive since I reached out to them. Yuri was very helpful in setting up our move - I live in New York City and needed to move my parents from their house to an apartment nearby (in Texas). As much as I was dreading this move, flying to Texas to deal with the chaos and the heat , helping two older people, both sick unfortunately, Yuri and his guys, Miguel and Alfredo, somehow made it as smooth as possible. Thanks to Yuri and his team for what was a brilliant job moving all our furniture and possessions. I highly recommend Flores moving company. Yuri and the team arrived early, evaluated the move and then didn't start the clock until the first piece was lifted. They worked quickly and efficiently packing up all the boxes and furniture and making sure I was aware of what was happening at all times. At the new place the team worked just as hard and quick to get everything in to the new apartment. Care and consideration taken all times. It took a team of three 2.5 hours to move all the furniture from a 2 bed apartment, there wasn't a lot of boxes as we had already moved them so this is probably quicker than the norm. read more

Flores Moving Company were the angels of the day that I moved in October 2018. Jose and Jose were excellent. They were professional, easy to work with, careful and super efficient, AND confident they could do exactly what they did accomplish. I could not be HAPPIER with FLORES MOVING COMPANY. The crew arrived early and were very courteous. They worked quickly and efficiently. I've used these guys twice now. Moving into my apartment and moving back out. They are courteous and fast. 4 beds, living room sofas, kitchen table, garage shelving a grandfather clock, large ceramic barbq, a lot of boxes and loose stuff in a two bedroom three floor apartment - all of it moved in three hrs by three guys for $450. Some required assembly and disassembly. They wrap everything in plastic and are very efficient with their time. I boxed a lot of my own stuff and they moved those boxes but they also moved a lot of the loose unboxed stuff and if you want to pay them for it they'll pack all your stuff. read more

We just used Flores Moving Company to move and I was absolutely amazed with their service. They were so careful with our walls and floors of our new home. They arrived on time. If we ever move again, Flores Moving Company is literally the only movers I will use. I was so impressed by how fast they were and how careful they were with our furniture and belongings. 1 Bedroom Move to a house. Yuri was very professional and transparent with pricing. The day of the move (this past Sat) he sent three men because they had a person from another job that was on their way back the warehouse so we got an extra person on the job (Yuri didnt ask us to pay for the extra person). They moved fast and were extra careful with our TV and the doors and walls to our new home. These guys were really great and communicative the entire time. We had a fairly straight forward move and they executed perfectly. We also left something on the truck that we needed...one of the men came all the way back after work to bring it to us!! The whole crew was absolutely awesome. I could not have been more pleased. They arrived on time, ready to work and were very friendly. They were also careful with my stuff. They wrapped my furniture to avoid damage. They also went above and beyond to help with items I was personally transporting. the Hourly rate was very reasonable And they were fast. I definitely received excellent value for the services provided. I would not hesitate to recommend Flores Moving to anyone, and if I need to move anything, I will contact them first. Simple Moving discusses all the details with you and all costs are transparent followed up with a quote. No signature required and NO down payment required. They charge by the hour at about $89/hour for 2 men and a truck. The truck has everything you need for your move as desired. Any additional cost tbd The fuel and drive time is simply $89 only. I dealt with Max and he was really wonderful and understanding since I moved my date a few times. And changing dates is okay with them if you need to do that. Told upfront they will charge you a little extra if an item weighs more than 300 lbs like for a piano. Other than that it's smooth going or should I say smooth moving!

A large picture was destroyed and several boxes went missing from the move. The owner let me know…read morethey were left in a different city and country from where the rest of items were delivered. I was charged $67 more than what was agree on and multiple pieces of my companies electronics, part of my home office set-up, were also left in another city and country with no address. The fact that none of the employees spoke English only made this all more difficult. Topping it off when I tried to pay my bank warned me of excessive fraudulent activity on the "company" account when I tried to pay. I was asked to send the payment to the owner and list them as a friend on zelle. Do not get screwed by them! Do not trust this company. They will steal from you, lie about everything, then do absolutely nothing to make it right.
