Ordered 2 pizzas only one was done. Staying at a hotel so no oven. I will say that they were super fast.

I ordered food thru their website to be picked up. Payment cleared, and message said the restaurant would let me know when the food was ready. After 45 minutes, I went inside to see why it was taking so long. They said they only got the oder 15 minutes ago, and that it would be ready in 10 minutes. I was sitting in my car waiting because I get cold in the restaurant. Food is good, but this needs to be fixed. read more

Stopped by this spot to catch a quick bite before going to Cinemark Colonel Glenn for a movie nearby. This pizza spot is comfortable and casual, there are no bells and whistles here, only great food and friendly people. Parking - free Specials - $2 off 14' pizza and $2 off a pitcher of draft beer. Food - the menu consists of soup & salads, sandwiches, pasta, pizza and desserts. After skimming the menu, we ordered a 14" half Spicy Vegetable, half Ed & Stu's BBQ Pizza with an order of Wings of Fire and two draft beers. We were advised the wings are baked and would take about 20 minutes and the pizza would take 15 minutes. The pizza arrived piping hot and it was one if the best pizzas I've had in a long time! And the frosty beers were the icing on the cake. The Spicy Vegetable Pizza has olive oil, garlic, spinach, jalapenos, squash, feta, pepper jack, mozarella topped with tomatoes and parmesan cheese. I wanted to remove the squash but I'm glad I didn't, it was perfect and full of flavor. Ed & Stu's BBQ Pizza has bbq chicken, garlic, bacon, red onion, pepper jack, cheddar and mozzarella cheese. It is a really solid pizza as well. Wings of Fire - these bone-in wings were served piping hot as well. We had to wait until after we ate the pizza to try them because they were so hot, but once we did, we really enjoyed them. The chicken was so fresh with the right amount of heat. The staff is super friendly and the food is prepared quickly. They are several booths for seating and there is also bar seating with flat screen tvs. We really enjoyed the food and wished we had ordered two large pizzas instead of the one 14" half and half! This is officially my favorite pizza spot in Arkansas. read more

I wouldn't go out of my way for this one! The place is somewhat run down, marginally clean, and the service was less than par, although friendly. The pizza was just OK. I asked for a half black olive and it was served with approximately 6 to 8 olives slices. Might as well have been plain. I've been coming to American pie Pizza for years actually since they opened. This is the second time I have had this issue where I purchased a 14 inch margarita pizza with chicken and diced tomatoes and I receive my pizza burnt to a crisp and also with sliced tomatoes and chicken thrown on top as it is it was Initially forgotten. And I'm going to be completely honest these are excellent pizzas so of course they're pretty expensive there a little bit more than your average pizza so you would think that you would have quality, as well as presentation. This place has gone down hill! Had to get my own menus, silverware, tracked down my own waitress, been here over an hour before getting my food, and approx 20 minutes before our drink orders were even taken. The performance of the front house employees, I'm surprised they still work here. The cooks are literally the only ones wearing an American Pie shirt (correction: more mature waitress's wearing her green shirt) while the others look like dear season just started or they just rolled out of bed from a hang over. Sauce was cold and when we asked for it to be warmed we were looked at like we were crazy. Trivia games, really!? My suggestion would be to make good food, be consistent, and have great service instead of thinking of other ways to bring in customers. Showed up an hour and 10 minutes before closing and was told they were closed. Plenty of people eating. Not very friendly either.

Service Date: 3/21/16....7pm. Pros: PIZZA IS VERY GOOD! The tall guy with the beard at the register......he was pretty much doing EVERYTHING! Very pleasant to chat with and provided us with great customer service. I did not get his name but the receipt says Server 108, Glean F. Now with that said......there could be many improvements. It really needs to be cleaned. Cons: The rest of the staff. Wow.....they need to be taught a few things....like instead of standing there.....do something, like SMILE, answer the phone, greet customers, sweep the floor....the list is endless. As I said, the one guy was doing pretty much everything. We walked in to order and then sat down to wait for it. Definitely not worth the money. We ordered calzones. I'm not sure what type of crust they use. It was dry and over cooked. Resembled a pie crust with no oil. We ordered bread sticks. They were forgotten. When we were asked if we still wanted them and said yes. A little bit later we were told the bread sticks were burned. Service was ok. They weren't busy. I expected better. Not even an offer to make up for the bread sticks. Definitely would not recommend. read more

The cheese dip and the salsa were pretty good and worth a try. The salads are excellent! The house dressing is great! The wings, however, are "like" the kind you buy at the grocery store and bake. When I go Out to eat wings, I want deep fried with the skin having a little crisp to it, dripping in sauce. Not fatty and chewy. I want freshly fried wings, not Tyson's. The buffalo sauce was just fine though and I found it very tasty. We opted for the pasta dishes and I'd say they were about average. This is the first time I've done a yelp review and the first time I've tried this place. I am on my way home to California and only in the area for one night. This place was the closest to my hotel and I honestly wasn't expecting much, but I got wings and the spinach salad and they were both delish!! I'm super picky about my wings being crispy so when I got there to pick up my order, the wings needed some more time to cook to bring them to crispy perfection, which is totally okay with me! Plus it is a Friday night, so they were busy! Not only were my wings perfectly crisp with great flavor (a rare occurrence with a lot of wing places in my experience), but everyone who helped me was super nice and they even offered me a drink while I was waiting. The atmosphere seems fun and it definitely seems like a place that locals go. American Pie Pizza definitely exceeded my expectations for a random pizza shop on a road that doesn't have much else to offer, but I'm thrilled that I got to experience it! We went on Trivia Night so we expected it to be packed and the service to be behind. Our friends arrived 10-15 minutes before we did and were seated at the table. They said the server immediately greeted them and brought their drinks. Once we arrived it was well past 20 minutes before the server came to take our drink order. That was after someone from our party went to get her. A while after that we ordered 4 pizza's, 2 salads, and an order of cheese dip. After having empty glasses for a long period of time, I went to the counter where take out orders are placed and retrieved refills for our table. I noticed what appeared to be our salads sitting there. When someone brought our salads to the table 1 of them was missing the meat. We asked the person that brought the salads to please bring it separately as well as a pitcher of Dr. Pepper. When our pizza arrived it was hot. The pizza was not anything spectacular. Trivia was really fun and we had a great time. Side note: if you plan to go on a Saturday night, you may want to call ahead. Most of the patrons are only there for trivia night and it is seated to capacity well before trivia begins. read more

We have always enjoyed APP, and the staff is always helpful & friendly. Today while trying to place an order I was asked to hold; it's lunchtime (1:00) so I understand. After 10 minutes I hung up and called back. Placed on hold again for 8 minutes; no return. I hung up, and just went to the restaurant to place my order. Customer service should be the most important thing next to food quality; it's clearly not. Please work on that, because I love APP, and don't want to find another pizza place. read more

Solid is the best word that comes to mind. I ordered the meaty deluxe pizza. The pizza crust makes the pie. It's a cracker thin crust with an enough char on the bottom to give it a hint of smoky flavor. The toppings was OK. There was a decent amount of toppings on my pizza, but it was just too bland. I really couldn't taste much of anything. Which is really disappointing because they had a near perfect cracker crust. My waiter was very nice and it seems that the other employees are the same. The bathrooms is clean, which is always a huge concern. I will give this establishment another chance because I hear the salads is very good. If I could I would rate it a 3.5. read more

Having worked in Italian restaurants for years I have experience with modern, gas powered pizza ovens that take 8-10 minutes for a regular pizza or calzone. I was helping a friend move and she rewarded me with pizza from American Pie Pizza. If I would have known I would have just taken the cash. I'm not a fan of thin crusted pizza which is what my friend bought. That's not American Pie Pizza's fault. However, the ingredients tasted cheap and they didn't seem that fresh. If they grow their own veggies in the back and I'm misinterpreting the taste then I apologize but I didn't find it that great. read more
