The pizza is awesome but on this visit we tried the burger and a pasta dish. Never again! I had read the burger was the best in Little Rock or maybe AR. For $19 it was hardly a 1/4 pounder. It really looked like a slider. The pasta dish was tasteless. We hardly touched it. Bolognese with Tagliatelle. Service was good. Dining room nice but dark. We had been waiting for Deluca's to open our whole trip. A coworker gave it his praise and we were eager to try it out. The fried mozzarella was awesome, I definitely recommend it. The meat balls had the group split, a salty for some and half our group prefers a soft meatball and these have a crisp- all depends on preference. We went with a pepperoni pizza and a white cheese pizzas. The pepperonis have a bit of a kick but a nice welcome after switching between the two pizzas. The cheeseburger didn't get great reviews from our table but maybe that's to be expected. Overall the portions are huge and the environment is great. We enjoyed our visit and I know the table will be back again. If you haven't checked this place out add it to your list. They are closed Monday but you can make reservations online. read more

My Husband and I tried this place for the first time a couple weeks ago. We sat at the bar at dinner time & were the only 2 in the bar area, other than the bartender who stayed on her phone most of the time, despite us trying to make small, friendly conversation with her. We had a 2 or 3 glasses of wine ($5 each on happy hour, which is great) and a couple beers ($6 on hh) so it is not like we were drinking water and wasting her time. We ordered the Arugula salad for 2 ($13), which had cannellini beans on it. I loved the dressing, it was delicious & nicely dressed. However, several pieces of the arugula was brown and old or wilted. Size of the salad was perfect for 2. We shared the Sarah Meadows pie ($26). It was just ok. Our overall take was that the bartender could have made our experience a little more enjoyable, the pizzas are one size (huge) and expensive. I picked up the Benny Briggs Pie to go and it was perfectly crispy. No flop when picking the slices up to eat them, and the ingredients were high quality. It was as good as I remember the pizza being at the original Hot Springs location. Staff were extremely friendly and brought me a smaller box along with plates and plasticware since I was bringing the pizza back to a hotel. Ambience is very much matrix club theme with red leather chairs, dark atmosphere, and semi loud music. When you walk in, there are stairs allowing you to sit and get drinks while you wait for your table. The food was superb! I tend to give high praise when food is good but the pizza was absolutely spectacular! It is very true to New York style pizza with extremely thin crust, and the flavors are busting. We had the patsy searcy pie which was quoted as the kitchen favorite! Dad and I finished it and were completely satisfied with it! Additionally we had the meatballs which were tasty but you only get 4 so that's kind of a bummer. We also had a burger and the tiramisu. My mom loved her burger and I enjoyed the tiramisu. Can't believe it's a 4* or below(at this current moment of review) because it's much better than what you see it rated. #1 it's the best pizza in the state. Undeniable. #2. It's the best burger in the state. Get it medium rare. You'll be fine. It's like a delicacy. #3. The drink menu is top notch with rotating seasonal options. Dirty Martini and espresso martinis are #4 they have an exceptional staff. Truly one of the best you'll find anywhere. I could go on and on. The salads are great(and massive). The pastas are terrific. Holy cow the tiramisu is incredible. The atmosphere is amazing. Have our collective minds truly put things on a pedestal that's unreachable. Was in town for work and an employee at the hotel said I had to try Delucas Pizza. Dave Portnoy blah blah blah...well it isn't hype. I travel with work and I try pizza everywhere I go. This was top 3 in the country for me. Perfect flavor and char. Sauce and cheese are high quality. You can tell they use good ingredients. The pizza was average for $25 cheese pizza. It's a thin crust pizza which I typically like but this wasn't very good. I ate in the restaurant and the service was good. I would look elsewhere for a better tasting pizza. If it's going to be expensive it needs to be better than Deluca's. I have eaten pizza in New York and New Jersey so I have eaten excellent pizza. There are better pizzas in Little Rock. The parking is a challenge but there a few great restaurants in the same shopping center. read more

I just hate leaving negative reviews but the Caesar Salad at Deluca's is a crime against the human body. If you were to list the ingredients in the bowl they serve to you (and the portion is great), the very first thing would be salt. The only thing I've ever had that was saltier was a chicken breast I made at home, mistaking a jar of seasoning salt for a rub. It's the worst caesar I've ever ever had, and you'd be better off getting a $1.78 bagged caesar at the Kroger across the street. Everything else is pretty okay. We are so lucky to have Delucas finally in Little Rock. It is a lake day in hot springs dinner staple. We started with the focaccia sticks for pies we had the Jamesy, but for half we added pepperoni and basil. Absolutely delicious. We also ordered a patsy searcy (my personal favorite) and of course it was delicious. The wait staff was also very friendly and helpful. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice. It would be great for a family night or a date night. I think the only complaint I could have is the hostesses are not even close to accurate. They told us the wait would be 45 minutes for a party of 3. The lady in front of us with a party of 9 had the same wait time. We waited 6 min total. A few parties behind us were told 1.5 hr and waited 10-15 min total. I think they should try to be more accurate on their wait times so as not to deter people. However, still giving 5/5 stars because it's THAT good. read more

Our food took over an hour after ordering to be brought out & when it did come out the pasta was very disappointing . When it finally came out we hoped for food to be hot & fresh but my pasta looked like it had been sitting & the oil started to harden on the surface & had a less than warm temperature which took away any appetite I had . Great addition to Breckenridge Village Little Rock. Fashionable Atmosphere. Our group communicated in advance and a long table was set up for us in an alcove at the back. Was less noisy there. But there was no music on til 8 (saw complaint it was loud). It was pretty dark back there. Seniors need more light to read the menus, cellphone flashlights came in handy. Brian C took care of us, all on separate checks, in such an efficient and friendly manner - outstanding. Kudos! The salads were ginormous-1/2 salad would have been enough to split, along with a pizza. Pizzas are huge - 18 inch! They could sure use bigger tables - cramped. Husband and I, first time there, had Wedge salad (great!) and Jamsey pie w/ea half personalized. Honestly, first impression - Not impressed with the pizza / just Not outstanding and we agreed with others , crust was burnt to a crisp in places. Arrived at 245pm. Didn't open until 3pm so walked next door to get a beer while waiting. Asked bartender there if I could bring the beer outside while waiting. There's a small outdoor seating area that appears to be a shared space between the two establishments. She said yes and poured it into a plastic cup. At 3pm, we walked into the side door of Deluca's between the two establishments. Was told we needed to check in at the front door to get a table. No one at the front said anything about my beer. We sat down and ordered. Friendly waiter. Salad was delicious. Music was way too loud, wife said it felt like we were in a nightclub rather than a restaurant. Waiter told us the kitchen burned our pizza and another was on its way. Second pizza comes out and it is overcooked and dry. Had the Benny Briggs ($32). Ate a slice and then someone comes up (doesn't introduced herself) and says, "I'm going to have to ask you to finish your beer, you're not supposed to bring one in here." I told her there's no sign saying otherwise nor did anyone at the front door say anything about it, so assumed it was ok. She said something about training employees. She didn't say where I needed to finish the beer or how long I had to do so, just that I needed to finish it. So, I finished the last two sips while she stood there. Both my wife and I felt that she could have handled that situation better. Asked the waiter for "one or two cups of marinara to dip the overcooked, dry pizza crust into". He brings out two small cups, one in a to go cup with a lid. After boxing the leftovers, waiter brings to me a handheld device to pay my bill where the only thing I see is a final price. I ask to see an itemized bill because it appears to be more than I thought it would be. Turns out I was charged $4 extra for two small cups of marinara. Waiter was a really nice guy but should've told me I would be charged for the two small cups of marinara. Long story short: pizza was overcooked, dry, not much cheese and overpriced. Management needs to improve communication skills. Music is too loud. Two stars instead of one due to location and cleanliness. read more

We had a pie with half Ramsey and Siswtown, Delucas salad, and focaccia sticks with black cherry soda and tiramisu. However, I would pass on the Delucas salad and the tiramisu. The salad needed more vinaigrette and meat, and the tiramisu had a sour fridge aftertaste. It was a bit pricey for two people to share, so I would suggest this be more of a date night dinner. read more

The owner said he would get a place for us to sit but it turned out to be lip service! The staff out front on the desk w the t-shirts was talking about us and about what the gripe was. We came from out of town and this was definitely not the hospitality we had experienced in prior trips to Arkansas as other eating establishments. Arthur's would never do us like this!!!
