We visited Hideaway Pizza in Benton on a Sunday evening in March, and it was the perfect balance of lively and comfortable. The restaurant was full, but it never felt too loud or chaotic. Our server, Shannon D, was absolutely amazing. She was exceptionally friendly and attentive and made the whole experience even better. We started with the fried mushrooms, then ordered a large hand tossed cheese pizza for $15.99 and a cookie sweetza for dessert at $8.99. Everything was delicious and came out fresh and hot. One of the best parts about Hideaway Pizza is their thoughtful touch for families. If you have a little one, they will bring out a tray of pizza dough for your kids to play with while you wait. Had quite a experience here! Our server was nice, however he was training another future server, which is great love that, however wasn't quite tentative to our table. The food took forever and a day. Our whole table ordered pasta which was weird to me because I thought we were going for pizza. So I opted to get a personal pizza, because hello it's a pizza place. its currently May the 4th.. Star Wars night. my Wife put in an order for dinner. I went to pick it up and drove home only to be told that they forgot my step sons pizza and my chicken Alfredo bake. so I drive 15 minutes back in to town, they offer me nothing for the inconvenience. and the alfredo bake was so bad i fed it to my dog. I will never order from this location again. They have defiantly lost a customer. read more

Let me start by saying the food was awesome! Amazing pizza and really flavorful wings. However the service, including the hostess, was terrible :( After we ordered starters (Caesar salad and wings) they came out with fried ravioli but got the Caesar correct. Sent the ravioli back having one of us wait on food for even longer. They came back with wings 15 minutes later, but they got the sauces wrong, and of course right behind it the pizza for the table. When trying to tell the lady who brought the wings we just wanted all buffalo, she rebuttals with saying they were all the same sauce, yet it was clear as day they weren't. We just accepted whatever they gave us because we didn't want to wait even longer. Our waiter we barely saw, yet when we did she was mostly chatting with a co-worker. She never refilled our drinks, we had to ask towards the end. The hostess before everything didn't greet us yet she was looking right at us. It was super awkward and uncomfortable lol. We were in the area doing some shopping before heading back to HSV and decided to meet some friends for a bite to eat. They recommended this place after discovering it several days prior and we were glad they did. We sat at the bar and we were immediately greeted by the bartender and given menus. We decided to try the fried mushrooms, the wings (garlic Parmesan and Buffalo) and their version of the supreme pizza . The mushrooms were the highlight of the night - fresh, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The wings were good, not great, only because the sauces were not that memorable. The pizza was also good - we got the hand tossed version which I thought was a little under in terms of the crust - but overall good with a respectable amount of toppings and cheese. The restaurant was packed on a Saturday night, especially with the Dallas game on so noise was definitely loud. But it wasn't unbearable and seating seemed to open quickly. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area and looking for a good sports bar type restaurant. read more

Great service! Outstanding pizza! The sauce is maybe the best I've had. We thoroughly enjoyed the Sicilian pizza. If you're in the mood for a drink, happy hour is 4-7 M-F with drinks half off. I recommend the blueberry lemondrop. The noise level borders on loud, so I was happy to be seated in a corner where the walls deadened some of the sound. There are TVs for sports' fans, which I am not. My in-laws drive a half hour to get here, and I'd agree that the pizza is worth the drive. Check it out for yourself! read more

Very good pizza. We got the one with everything but jalapeño peppers. Now, there was an hour wait to get in on a Sunday afternoon and after we ordered it took another hour to get the food. The place was far from full, so maybe it's another case of nobody wanting to work in public during COVID. But this was around 1 pm on Sunday afternoon. It's a pizza place, so lots of light engaging decor with brightly colored kites hanging from the ceilings. They even have a covered open air top floor dining. The pizza had a perfect thin crust and piled with fresh toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. It was just right for three hungry adults. The sauce was flavorful without being overwhelming. Our granddaughter was with us and she had a personal pizza. We all had soft drinks and the bill was $46.00 before tip. Good as it was, it wasn't worth the 2 hour plus wait on a slow afternoon. The server was very nice and checked back with us several times so I didn't deduct points for the ridiculous wait time, especially after we ordered, but I'm chalking that up to COVID....for now. read more

I had the small caesar salad (kid size), which I think is so awesome that this restaurant will let an adult order. FINALLY! It was delicious and very fresh. I forget the name of the pizza we had, but it was hot, crispy and amazing. They have many items on the menu and all look delicious. A regular sitting at the bar next to me told me that she has tried almost everything on the menu and it all is very delicious. The bartender was very nice and attentive. I'm not the one to be petty, but I'm beyond frustrated because the manager on duty gave me no chance to find my glasses. This was the last place I had my glasses 10 min before their closing time. I desperately came back to ask for permission to check the premises and he refuse to allow me in. If they were dollar glasses I wouldn't care... but they are my prescription Paco Rabanne sets.
