I was impressed with the communication Rich gave to me and that was why I chose them. Kevin was our tech. He was promptly on time and was very professional and friendly. He had us come outside to see the camera that was placed in the kitchen line, explaining what he was seeing and what he was doing to clear the line and recommended future hydro cleaning. He never pushed that service on us, nearly a suggestion. We had a nice conversation and when I asked some other questions about our hot water heater and how to flush it, he explained in depth how to do that and suggestions as to whether or not to do so. Hired American Plumbing today for a leak at the shut off valve on our toilet this morning. They were responsive, friendly, and the most reasonably priced. Most other companies wanted to charge a travel fee to provide an estimate or insisted on coming out to provide an estimate and I didn't feel like wasting half a day just to compare prices. Kitchen sink wouldn't drain and figured it was the garbage disposal since it hasn't worked in years. Asked for a quote through yelp on Friday night and immediately got a text back asking what was going on and they quoted me $349-$379 for new garbage disposal and installation. The earliest they could come out was Monday morning which was fine with me. He arrived right on time and had a new one installed in 20 minutes. It came out to $430 after taxes and 3% fee for using a credit card but he did give an option to use a check to avoid a 3% fee and I appreciate the quick response and fast service. Will call these guys again next time something goes wrong. read more

We called Rich after what we thought was an irrigation issue with banging in the walls and changing the irrigation timer in October accomplished little in terms of reducing the noise on a permanent basis. Rich had my son test all sorts of things and finally he thought from the photos and our phone chat it was the pressure valve which it was. Since he came and changed the valve no more noise! Rich is very honest and professional, he said he couldn't guarantee it was the valve and we said it was fine with us. He arrived at exactly the time he said he would, did the job and we are super glad we called him. He is reasonable and presented us with all possibilities. We accepted his terms beforehand and fortunately it was the least expensive scenario which happened. I can't recommend Rich enough!
