    Being Labor Day weekend, we figured most businesses wouldn't be able service until Tuesday because of holiday observation. We were surprised to find that Phillips Plumbing Solutions had availability after an early morning appointment, and decided to accept them for the job. Dustin's communication was on point. We had some questions during job scope, which he had swiftly replied back to. He arrived, was extremely professional, and replaced our leaky water heater tank so we didn't have to go a few days without hot water. Fortunately it wasn't an emergency since we were able to turn off both water and gas supply lines to the tank - it would've been an inconvenience with only having cold water. We highly recommend Dustin and Phillips Plumbing Solutions to handle our maintenances and projects going forward.     Outstanding workmanship on our new water heater installation. It required the replacement of some older, dubious connections which Thomas, George and Dustin handled expertly.     A review I totally forgot to do. Back in January 2021, I had Dustin come in and install a water pressure regulator at my house. I'm the type that I rather be safe then sorry. I have heard that the water pressure in Queen Creek gets pretty high at times. So I didn't want to take the risk. Dustin came in and installed a regulator, noticed a leak and repaired my water omitter valve, and re-taped the piping. He did a great job, and was very professional. I would definitely offer him another job if needed.

    We explained what the problem was with our washing machine before they came. So we paid $125 for someone to come and immediately say it's not worth fixing. I think they knew ahead of time it wasn't worth fixing but sent someone out anyway and took our money. Just didn't sit right with us. On another note the tech that came out was very nice and explained the situation. We just feel robbed.

    Our LED board light went out in our fridge. Called and ordered a new one since we were still…read moregetting power to the plug. The new board did not work as well so we called Thomas Home Services. They were nice on the phone, stated they would charge us a tech call fee to come out and determine what the issue was which is understandable. They stated after they figure out what the problem is, they would apply the $125 service call to the bill if we moved forward with the repairs. After the service guy came out, which he was very nice and knowledgeable, he stated it was the 2 small switches in front and our transformer underneath. Stated it was $680 - $125 for everything. We agreed but they stated they had to order the parts and they would come back the following week around Tuesday. Tuesday came and we did not hear from them. I called them on Wednesday and they stated the parts came in and would have someone call me. Again, another day went by and no one called. I had to call back in where they told me they could not come out until Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week and would put us on the 1st stop at 8am. We scheduled for Tuesday. 8:20am came by and no word. I called and asked if someone was coming and the lady stated the service guy had to stop by the parts store to pickup the parts and then would head our way. The guy finally showed up at 8:45am. Mind you, I was advised the previous week by 2 people the parts were in and they already had them on hand. After the service guy installed the 2 switches which took about 10 -15 min, he started on the transformer. After we swapped out the transformer, he proceeded to advise us that it was not the transformer but most likely something with the internal wiring and they would have to pull the built in fridge out and start to tear things apart to find out where the break in the wire was bad. We did not want to spend the money on that. They ended up billing us $400 for 2 switches. I spoke to the manager and he stated they don't charge by the hour, just what the billing time states for the parts. I asked him for a breakdown of labor and parts and he stated they don't do invoices that way. I would assume it is THEIR way of covering all the labor they did on our fridge for something that did not need to be replaced which they misdiagnosed from the beginning. Now, here comes more horrible service: I looked under the fridge to see how things were put back as I had a bad feeling after what they did on the above. The service guy only put 1 screw back on to hold the cover plate. He did not put the other 2 screws on. After I took the cover plate off, the service guy did not put the transformer cover back on as well. He shoved it back under the fridge and put all the screws under the fridge laying on the ground. Every time you call this place, they asked you how they can put a smile on your face. What a joke. I would never use this company nor recommend them. They did not finish the job and wasted our time/money.

I chose to move forward with the repair that same day, and the entire process was seamless. They handled everything, including contacting the manufacturer regarding my water heater warranty and coordinating with the restoration company. Knockout was VERY RESPONSIVE and had a tech out early the next day. Very professional, quickly diagnosed leaking heat exchangers from the cheap builder installed tankless hot water heater. Of course out of warranty, so we discussed the most cost effective and quality options and I decided to have the unit replaced with a more efficient, modern unit with a full 15-year warranty. My tech went to their warehouse and picked up the unit, and within an hour was back and at work pulling down the old unit and installing the new one, complete with all new copper piping. All done after a couple hours and I was so impressed, had him service my under counter water filtration system in kitchen. He cleaned everything up and we walked the home together making sure everything was working. YES!!!! HOT WATER EVERYWHERE!!! And while I don't like having to spend $$$$$ on home repairs, I feel like I got gold treatment in terms of quality, responsiveness and warranty. Super satisfied. You owe yourself to check out Knockout Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs. They've got a spot in my phone book now!!!

    As we move into summer, our 11 year old AC unit started having days where it would stop blowing…read morecold air. Didn't seem to be a problem with electric, refrigerant, etc. We'd had the unit serviced recently so not much dirt on the unit.. I guess we're lucky because in the few years we've been here both our units have functioned great. Wasn't sure who to call, but we'd had a great experience with the plumbing side of Hansen, so we reached out. Scheduling was very easy. You can do so online, or a real person answers the phone. They offered to have someone out within a few hours! Our problem wasn't that urgent, but it's comforting to know. Benjamin was our technician, and he was great with communication. He diagnosed the problem (leaking fan motor) very quickly, and gave us options for repair. At no time was he pushy about anything, just factual. We were on the fence with repair vs replace, but decided the unit had enough life in it to repair. Ben also gave us figures on replacing with an eye towards the future. He wrote it all up even knowing that we weren't going to buy anything in the short term. This is really excellent customer service, and you can bet when we're ready we will remember. The repairs were done quickly, we got an email with the invoice and pictures of all the areas worked on. The property was left tidy, and it was an overall excellent experience. That was a week ago, and our AC is working better than it has in the past two years.

They came out checked it and said it would cost $3000!!!! And that was with my "discount". WTF!!! Knowing this was exorbitant, I quickly checked the good ol' internet. Tavares Plumbing advertises as "flat rate", so I called. He promptly called back and gave me a flat rate (50 gal heater $935, added warranty,10 year total, $250) $1135 for exactly what I needed. Honesty and not gouging, imagine that! He said he'd be over the next day and he was! And the price was exactly what he said. He let himself in my garage, did the job and left after cleaning up and making sure my garage door was locked. P.S. I was able to check on the progress via my security cameras. I was flabbergasted at the professionalism, honesty, promptness, etc. if I had to do it again...I'd save a lot of effort and call Tavares Plumbing. In short: 1. Tavares Plumbing is awesome 2. Parker & Sons price gouge (3x the going rate) 3. Select Home Warranty sucks 4. Did I say, Tavares Plumbing is awesome? They are!

The other reviews reflect our second experience with Andy....NO SHOW, NO CALL. Andy installed a water heater a couple months ago in our daughter's condo. He did an exceptional job, was on time, and his pricing was was competitive. I referred him to a friend, and she was beyond pleased with his service. We were excited to find a reputable plumber, so we hired him for some oddball plumbing jobs around our home. Andy was scheduled for 2:00 p.m. TWO days ago. We juggled some things around so we could be home. When we didn't hear from him by 4:00 p.m., we called. He never returned our call or showed up. If he could not or did not want to perform these odd jobs, all he had to do was say so. Although disappointed, we would have completely understood and moved on. Ignoring and "ghosting" customers is definitely not good business practice, no matter how many 5-star reviews one has. I'm deeply saddened and disappointed by this treatment, and I hope it does not happen to others.
