    Humpback whale breach

Super fun Brooklyn experience, I'm so glad I found this! If you easily get sea sick or don't like rocking boats I wouldn't recommend. We saw a ton of whales and many breached! Such a wonderful gem in Brooklyn and I'll definitely come back.

This was our 2nd time on this great day trip. My mom, my husband and I absolutely loved seeing the whales and the dolphins. It's so much fun to see everyone so excited when the whales are spotted. I love that you have a snack bar and alcohol for whoever wants it. We will do this again.

It was one of my dreams to see a whale! And I actually did it! Although the company does not guarantee it. What it good: they have whale watching every day except for Mondays and Tuesdays, while others do it only on weekends. They are frequently seen on grupon. They provide some scientific information while on the boat although I was not able to hear half of it due to low sound quality and noise from the boat. What I didn't like is that they offer much cheaper tickets on the premises, but you have to pay in cash. Whales are not that big as I expected, and you will see them from really far. Anyway, this is a wonderful experience for active people looking for something unusual.

Went on the whale watching sunset cruise and WOW! So much fun and such knowledgeable people that run the cruise! The cruise consisted for 3.5 hours of info about whales and the chance to see whales and dolphins. There were snacks and drinks (cash only) so bring a few bucks or pack your own! Over great experience and would recommend to anyone!

WHALE WATCHING IN NYC! Taking off from Brooklyn, we had the best four hour whale watching cruise! Nice boat, great staff, animal preversationalists, & knowledgeable. About our cruise, we were told it was the most whale & dolphin sightings in years: five humpback whales and 40 dolphins! The Captain was incredible balancing respect for the animals and providing us the best experience. More details: free/convenient parking, clean boat, FOUR HOURS on the water, interesting infor, indoor and outdoor seating available, and snacks/drinks for sale (cash only). Great location if you want to experience the rest of Brooklyn. I never knew this existed in NYC so if you're reading this, go! Reserve now! Great for Locals and Visitors!

Just a fantastic evening on this cruise from Breezy Point up to the East Side of Manhattan, then... around to the west side of Manhattan up to the mid town area. We had the most perfect weather EVER. The boat was a comfortable size to hold our party of 75 and we had plenty of music and dancing on the top deck, a comfortable sitting area on the main deck and great views from anywhere on the boat. Before heading back to Breezy Point, the boat stopped for a while around the "Statue of Liberty." The beautiful night just made for the perfect place to be. It was an amazing NYC skyline that we had the opportunity to see in both the evening light and darkness. Just PERFECT!!! The crew was incredible team of helpful and friendly people who went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable. We had a great buffet dinner downstairs where there was plenty of seating for our group, though the food line does seem to get a bit overcrowded. I highly recommend this charter boat for any group looking to doing something a bit our of the ordinary. This boat also does a whale watching tour.

An amazing experience. We have seen 2 whales during the cruise and we were able to make a lot of pictures.

This is my 6th trip with American Princess Cruises and once again, I was not disappointed. We saw 2 whales on this trip and I got some great pictures. The crew is friendly and provided great information about whales and dolphins. (We didn't see any dolphins on this trip, but we did see them the day before, along with 2 different whales than we saw today). The crew is also very sociable and takes the time to talk to the guests if you have questions. Some of the crew even remembered me from my trips last year. I highly recommend taking this adventure.

Currently I am talking with Hiller PC, Law Firm and a NYC reporter with my experience with Queen of Hearts! If you bought the scam tickets when you were on your way to the Staton Island Ferry then you bought them for Pier 36 not Pier 7! The Freedom Cruise, Pink Lady sails out of Pier 7 Brooklyn NOT Pier 36 Queen of Hearts! Jill at Queen of Hearts told me personally that they hire a third party that sells tickets when you get off the subway! Here are the tickets I bought for Pier 36 - Queen of Hearts!

Using a deal: Simple enough! If you buy a deal, email them your voucher number and the date/time of your preferred cruise (pick from their website) and they mark your reservation. If you're booking for more than one person, email your voucher numbers together in one email so you all get the same reservation. You then print out your voucher and bring it with you the day of. The Pink Lady was docked at Pier 7 and we checked in with Captain Anthony in 10 seconds. They board 15 minutes before departure, so my friends and I went to a nearby cafe to wait since it was really hot. Boat: Yacht is as depicted on their website. Two restrooms in the back (clean), food is placed on tables in the front along with coffee/tea on the first level, bar's on the other side. Everyone sits first come first serve, so if you're with a big group, get in line early so you don't get split up! We sat with a cute elderly couple and there were two extra seats at our table. Food & drinks: "Brunch" food/lunch buffet consisted of chicken, roast beef, ham and turkey wraps, salad, 2-3 different kinds of cold pasta salads and diced fruit. My friends and I were excited about the buffet and were a bit underwhelmed (we really wanted eggs! lol) but hey, you get what you pay for. Expect a 5-10 minute during the first rush. They ran out of pasta salad after the first long line, but had 2-3 platters of wraps. Drinks... my tequila sunrise tasted like sugar water, but my friend said hers was strong. Bartender was quick. Sights: You cruise from Sheepshead Bay to the Verrazano Bridge (one hour each way) and you get a great view of Coney Island and Seagate park! The captain also announces the sights as you pass by. Overall: Worth checking out for the views, especially if you love being out at sea,or have never been on a cruise around NYC. Don't expect too much from the buffet/unlimited drinks (and the cramped lines at the beginning), but you'll be full when you leave... and maybe drunk if you really do visit the bar often enough lol. Captain and crew members were very courteous; they help you get on/off the boat and also helped take away our garbage; tips are expected at the end.

On our honeymoon, there were several problems including lower than promised star-level hotel, missed transfers, misspelling my name on some travel documents which resulted in delays and they never booked us a flight back from Santorini to Athens, stranding us so we missed our final day in Athens, among other annoyances. In exchange for these problems and after a lot of excuses, they finally provided me with a travel credit for a future trip. On our next trip, I only had them book a hotel for 2 nights. I booked early and received an email saying my requested room was "confirmed and paid with our credit" and got a confirmation #. A couple weeks before the trip, I emailed the hotel directly to confirm and make some requests and everything was fine. But when we arrived and went to check-in, they told me the agency canceled our reservation a few days prior. More excuses followed, including saying I never confirmed (even though I had an email saying it was confirmed). Maria told me I should've "double confirmed", whatever that means. I have no idea why, if they thought I wasn't going anymore, they wouldn't email me to confirm before they canceled the reservation days before our arrival. When I asked they pay the new hotel we had to move to (which was not as nice) because our original hotel was full, they told me they could not because the travel credit request needs to be done in advance. Ha. I assume that was just a joke. They also said I should just use it for our next trip. Because I take so many European vacations? Ginny, the owner, was incommunicado for the day and unable to approve paying for the new hotel. After several emails and phone calls to them, they finally decided to pay it and I am thrilled to be done with them forever. In the end, only book with this travel agency if you like arriving for reservations that are not made or are incorrect and then dealing with the aftermath with customer service that will only blame others for the mistakes.

Absolutely do NOT recommend using this agency. If I could give 0 stars I would. In retrospect, we…read moreshould have researched them up on the BBB website before paying for our trip. Our groups experience has been horrible. We initially booked a group trip to Cuba last fall however due to the hurricane we had to reschedule. When we initially booked, customer service was poor at best. Response time was extremely slow and emails were difficult to understand (first warning). The price increased a couple times during the process but I assumed this was due to our delay in agreeing to dates and activities. When we finally settled on an itinerary, we were advised that we had to pay cash via mail and credit card payment was unavailable (second warning). After the hurricane hit Cuba, George advised us that the electricity was out and rioting had broken out. We were forced to postpone our trip however George advised us that since we didn't have travel insurance (which was never offered) we could use the credits at a later date. Nearly 2 months ago, I contacted George to reschedule our trip. I immediately was advised via email that phone calls were no longer allowed (third warning). On their website, trips to Cuba were advertised at very similar rates to those offered last fall. however when we attempted to rebook we were asked initially for an additional $295 per person which a couple days later changed to $355 pp, this was after going back and forth with him for several days of delayed responses and responses saying the hotel was confirmed. I attempted to change the itinerary to hotel only and was told that since we were no longer doing a group booking that was the reason for the increase. I sent George pictures from the hotel website showing that the hotel rate for a single room was half of what we initially paid. He acknowledged our deposits for which has had never provided receipts for and stated that there was a cancellation fee of $585 and we only had a credit of $213 each (my friend and I paid $793 each, the rest of our group paid much more). This was the first mention of a cancellation fee to anyone in our original group. Considering we didn't cancel the trip, it's difficult to understand why this would apply and why it was never mentioned when we were initially advised to reschedule nor when we were rebooking. As of July 16th, George has stopped corresponding with us. Next steps are to file a complaint on BBB and take it to small claims court. Photos posted from BBB are not from us but existing complaints.
