After some good detective work, he discovered a very slow leak inside one of our walls. He expeditiously fixed it and explained the cause. This guy knows his business! I had asked for an interior bid after my exterior was complete and Rick complied. We agreed on a date in March to start. He came back after and offered to start almost immediately due to a cancelation but we were traveling and needed another week or so. All was fine until he did not show. I emailed. He gave me the run around. A few days went by... I have to put my dog in daycare while this painting is happening and I needed a firm date. Rick finally explained that he took a bigger job and didn't know when he would start. I was okay with waiting a bit, but he just disappeared. No communication, nothing. Today I noticed some exterior paint peeling *not even 6mos old* and contacted Rick. Instead of just saying ok, sure, lemme look at it/end of story, he added it wasnt"his fault" because apparently I didn't replace enough wood from my porch. Rick was rarely on site during this 3 week project only coming by to get checks. My trusted carpenter and Rick walked my home prior to beginning and determined what needed to be replaced. I spent several thousand above and beyond the paint cost (which came in over budget) doing as they both advised on wood repairs. I'm not an expert...I relied on Rick to drive that part of the project. Instead it was implied that I was being cheap and that Rick took no responsibility. I was honestly shocked at his communication. Again, this paint job.was almost 20k and less than 6 mos old. Communication broke down further (dont know if i can post his actual texts which i have and are unhelpful , defensive and dramatic) I got a lecture about his schedule and my blaming him for needing to "feed his crews families" (huh? I did no such thing. I merely said he didn't show up as agreed. Which is true.) Instead of insisting he stand by his work, (which he reminded me he's done for 32 years as though that excused his rudeness) I prefer not to deal with him again and instead warn others. Perhaps he's having a rough time personally. I certainly wouldn't have him on any other jobs right now. His crew work hard and hopefully will find a lot of admirers. I did get another company for my interior job and will be happy to review after it's done.

We found them to be a low quality company with poor sales and customer service.

Megan handled the HOA permissions, and the installation was completed ahead of schedule when Sky NRG found an opening that suited me. Juan and his team managed the installation with careful attention to the aesthetics of the panel placement. Robert, Sky NRG's CEO, was present during the installation, underscoring their commitment to customer satisfaction. We discovered issues with my existing electrical panel during the process, and Robert recommended replacing it. Dave has done a number of installations at our home in Sterling including hot water heater, sump pump replacement with battery backup, outdoor faucet replacement with freeze protection, and general plumbing troubleshooting and repair, such as valve replacements and clogged lines. All of his work has been of the highest quality without incidence. We have found that Dave is extremely reliable and obviously cares about his work and the reputation of his company, and most importantly, the satisfaction of his customers. He recommends and uses the highest quality appliances and parts and is very reasonably priced. We have found that his estimates are very accurate and it is great to know that when they make a commitment to date of service, time, and duration, they honor it. Dave is a very congenial individual and is pleasant to work with. I love that when he sees an opportunity to improve things, he doesn't hesitate to point them out without making it feel that he is just trying to make more money or adding the pressure of the "up-sell". He has walked us through the value of adding a water purification system and even gave us an overview of adding an air purifying system to our A/C system. While we have not moved on either of these items at this point, his recommendations have weight behind them and we are considering their implementation.
