I have never raved so much about customer service in my life but Mike has given me a reason to do so. I had a pallet sitting at the Span Alaska terminal with no packaging to secure or protect my items. Mike was able to dispatch someone to immediately head over to the terminal to help crate and box my items. I have never seen someone go above and beyond than Mike. He deserves a compensation Reward and even more a recognition for his hard work in getting everything done in a timely manner so that the freight carrier can throw the pallet on a barge. Well done Mike you rock!

a complete nightmare!!!! they moved us from Seattle to Fairbanks and held our belongings hostage…read morefor over 3 months saying they do not deliver to a "trail" they came to our house in Seattle to give a bid but I guess they must not have checked out our new house.We got fuel and water delivery but they said they would not deliver and started charging rent on the container. at this point we were living with the clothes from our carryons from our flight up here.All our belongings cloth furniture,fools,personal items,paintings ALlOur belongs from 30 years of life together ,basically a snapshot of our lives being held captive with no concern about out circumstances and not willing to listen to our solutions but said we need to put our stuff in storage. I finally hired a skid-loader to clean up te driveway-not a trail and had their dispatcher and driver out and the driver agreed to deliver. the driver and crew were great. I can't give enough praise to these hard working courteous yong men. We got our stuff but I feel overcharged,underserved and would never recommend them to anyone.

Recently used Sourdough Transfer for a property move within Fairbanks, AK. The transfer was…read morecompleted with some problems. Originally the house inventory was divided into three groups: Storage (Stor), Apartment (Apt) and Trash (Trsh). All the boxes should have contained these letter codes. Several clearly marked boxes "Stor" Storage were delivered to my apartment by mistake. I do not know how many boxes marked "Apt" were sent to Storage? Suggestion, create a physical written inventory of entire shipment. Have each box marked by a sequential code of items. Have someone at the destination who will check each box upon delivery. Identify those particular items that are important upon delivery to new destination. I now have a problem of locating/identifying which boxes contain my workable documents and material. I have reservations about recommending Sourdough!

Same thing happened with the SECOND scheduled delivery date for two weeks out from the first!! The guy acted like he was doing me a favor by trying to deliver it on an upcoming weekend and that I should be appreciative?!?! I'm out of a pay check for two days now and I paid extra for a plow company to widen my drive for them!! He told the military transportation that I was verbally assaulting several of his staff members and tried to put the blame back on me! How unprofessional! Just own up to the fact that your company messed up! Twice!!

This company screwed me over royally. The Fairbanks office gave me a quote sight unseen, didn't…read moresend enough packing material or workers to pack the house in one day, causing my wife and myself to pitch in to get it all done, and I had to buy the extra packing material myself. When it came time to deliver they called and said that they couldn't get their truck up my road and it would cost almost double to unload it at the bottom of the hill and transport everything in smaller trucks. So much for the reliability of their quote. By the time they got things together it was noon and they informed me that I would be responsible for paying overtime due to the late starting time. When I objected they said they could arrange another delivery date but would charge me for storage in the interim. After arguing about it it turns out that they could indeed get their truck to my house, but didn't want to be bothered - just charge me more was their solution. Worst customer experience of my life.
