He brought several samples and walked us through what would be the best color to install in order to make the house look even better. He recommended we use Owen Corning Duration shingles and go with Williamsburg Grey. Once that was done, the shingles and the material were delivered the day before neatly stacked. The following day his crew and him were at our place at 7:30AM. His crew took meticulous care of our yard before starting. They stared around 8:30AM and were done before 7:00PM. NOT A SINGLE NAIL LEFT BEHIND! And, many code upgrades and changes to ensure rain water is moved away from the corners of the house. Thank you Ben and crew. The following week, his gutter folks showed up and installed our new gutters and downspouts -- upgrade to a 6" gutters. Again, not a single nail was left behind and our house looked great. When I asked to justify or price match, I was met with a lot of angry toned texts and excused regarding the subpar quality I am going to get, and he even suggested I was trying to rip off my insurance company and profit. If anyone is trying to profit off of insurance, it is 100% Perimeter roofing. They are extremely high, they try to grab every penny they can such as claiming my gutters and downspouts were damage by hail. We didn't even have hail come through, it was wind damage. I reached out to Jaco Contracting a couple of days after Hurricane Helene damaged the roof on our…read morehome. I had a response from them in hours to get someone to come out and look at our roof. A couple of days later Jaco sent Miguel Martinez out to look at our roof. He also tarped the roof for us in a spot that had allowed water to leak into the house, damaging the living room ceiling. The estimate was free. Miguel was an absolute godsend through the entire process, letting us know how to proceed with each step. Miguel came back when our insurance adjuster surveyed our roof. He was a great help in working with the adjustor to ensure all the damage was noted. Three hours later our insurance company said they would replace the entire roof and repair our living room ceiling that was also damaged. Jaco had a crew replace our roof within a couple of weeks, taking a single day to do so. A couple of weeks later another crew repaired our ceiling. That only took an hour and a half. Please note, Jaco wanted to do the work all in one day, but we had to shuffle our dogs in and out of the house. They were very understanding of that, too. "No problem." The work was outstanding. He found damage so we got the insurance involved and they approved a new roof and all was good to this point. A few days later they installed the roof and Ryan said if I c ould give him referrals he would give me 50 bucks for each one and if he got the job he would up it to 250 which I did . After the roof was installed I gave each member of the crew a good tip and then the crew left and me and Ryan did a final inspection and we found a couple of things that needed to be fixed and he said he would come back the next day and do it . Three weeks later he still hasn't been back with me calling him every day now he won't answer his phone. I then contacted the main office and they said they would contact him but that hasn't helped either. So once you pay them they are gone I just hope I don't need any warranty work done and as for the referrals money it's just a big lie . The total was little over $8000, deductible was $2000 of course it was out of my pocket and the rest of money was from my insurance company. Their work was ok, so I just paid whatever it costs. Few weeks ago, had a leaking problem on sunroom back of my house and called this person again to fix it. He came to check the problem and gave me a estimate $1100 for 14ft x 24ft sunroom. And we decided to make it for $1000 because I tried to pay in cash. So, we both agreed to fix sunroom roof for $1000 and I was waiting for him for few days but did not show up. I sent text message and called him several times but didn't answered the phone and reply for text message. And I found out that he just blocked my number. If he didn't want to do work for $1000, he should just say so. Not just blocked client's phone number. Well....I think he is kind a impolite and this is how they loose clients. The whole process took about a month for finalizing. Now we have a brand-new roof and was professionally done.
