If you're a kid, this place is a science project wonderland! Even as an adult there are quirky, practical, and creative things to try out! I wound up buying some duct tape with cupcake designs on it, since I needed duct tape--might as well be cute!

Stopped in here for some last minute Halloween shopping and was blown away with the sheer variety of products! It's like a mad scientist's toy store, they have educational kits, decorations, gag gifts, retro tech, toys, tools, you name it. Take any kid here and I'm 100% sure they'll want to become a scientist afterwards

If you are from Maine, the reference point for this place will be a Mardens, or Big Al's up in Wissaset. The size is closer to a Big Al's - and the bins are buckwild. This store feels focused and random at the same time. Its a discount store with lots of random bins of plastic babies or Army surplus survival things. But where this place shines is the Science part of their name. There are so many cool science supplies for teachers, kids, or the person who just wants to dabble in science for a hobby. My sister brought me here - she works in theatre and this was a place they would get a lot of props and supplies. If you need Halloween inspiration -- head here. I wish I had one of these closer to me, but it makes me pretty thrilled to have one visited one at all.

Always offering very curious stuff at very low prices. Funny and interesting. I always look forward to the catalog.

Just gotta see it to believe that it has everything you wouldn't find in a normal store. They are treasures.

It is pretty pricey between the four of us it was like $230 which was shocking but we're hoping the final products come out stunning. And the location itself is in high demand so it's pretty tight in there. They could double the space and prolly still fill it up. Special shout out to Sage who came to the rescue to help my daughter when she "ruined" her cat eyes! Sage helped her clean the paint off and redesign the eyes! We will be back in 7 days to get our pieces and I will update my review to show our final projects! Let me also add that this place is for both kids and adults! They had really cute Halloween decorations out that us moms decorated and cute cats / bunnies that our daughters enjoyed.

I was happy when I got there that the bowl I wanted to paint was on display. The employees new how to paint that particular design and gave me instructions one step at a time so I wasn't overwhelmed. It was so much fun painting and I love how my bowl turned out! They had a lot of painting ideas if you aren't creative, which I appreciate. I don't like thinking of ideas off the top of my head. This is great for anyone! A date night, family, alone time, friends, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hours at this location was decent. Pricing was a little high especially because you are also expected to tip afterwards. Between pottery, painting fee, tip, it's a lot! Overall, it's a once in awhile thing for me!

The owner, Robin, and one of the other employees were fantastic at leading a group of 21 first grade girls through painting a mermaid tail (there were so many choices for the canvas painting - my daughter happened to choose this one). They can do them more or less complex based on the age group of the party. Robin was truly fantastic to work with. She took care of everything, including ordering pizzas from elsewhere in the mall. I brought the paper goods and cupcakes and everything else was handled. We were in a party room in the back that is utilitarian but also decorated. I definitely appreciated that there were separate tables for the art and the eating! I was perfectly happy to not be out in the front of the store with the general public. And the price was totally reasonable given everything that they did for us. Would definitely host another party here! We've also come on a random day just to do a walk in ceramic painting, which was also great. Lots of selections at all sorts of different price points. You can also do walk in canvas painting.

We eventually ended up forgoing this year because she's still so young she wouldn't fully appreciate the experience, but plan on going for some Mommy and me time. The staff that I was in touch with while planning the event were all so helpful, responsive, and friendly. Even when we decided to pass on holding the party there, after we had filled out the form and not yet put in the deposit, they were so understanding. They get high ratings, they're located conveniently in a mall where if you have youngers you can go to the playgrounds in the mall, and if you have olders, they can walk around and do a little independent shopping. Looking forward to visiting soon!
