The fish has been fresh, since the health department either issued a warning or fined them. However the prices do not match up with what you are charged with or without taxes being applied and if your food is incorrect instead of getting an apology and correction you get interrogated and question if your food truly was incorrect. read more

As of late I have to say this place isn't the same. Blue crabs have been mushy. What with my experience as well as research means one or two things even the crabs were over cooked or the crabs were died prior to cooking. read more

This place is has the best Large Cooked Crabs I've ever had! Came here with my mother, I could of died they were so good. They serve the people very well, they even sell using EBT. You can use your Stamps & get them cooked for $2 more, cannot complain about that. This place is great. read more

We just got takeout from this place for the second time and it will be the last. The quality of the food is terrible. The first time we each got a crab cake to go with some other items we already had. I thought maybe I was bias because I used to go to another place that was REALLY good before we moved, but the crab cakes just seemed off. Tonight Mrs. and I split a family meal. I tried to not complain to much to my wife, so she could enjoy it. I was presently surprised when she made some thumbs down comments as well. 1. The Fried Oysters seemed OK. 2. The Big Daddy Shrimp seemed different, but not a big deal. 3. When we got to the scallops, something was definitely off. My wife thinks that they are not real scallops. 4. While we weren't able to tell if the crab cakes had real or imitation meat, it didn't matter because there was absolutely none of it in there. It was basically a spiced bread cake. 5. The macaroni Salad was absolutely inedible. It was difficult to swallow the one bite that we each took. 6. The fries were OK, but then again, it's hard to screw up frozen fries that you get at a super market in a plastic bag. Like I said before, I was afraid that I was being biased because I was hoping that this would be a replacement to my favorite restaurant ever that I moved away from, but this place definitely rubbed us both the wrong way. read more

I always get shrimp and broccoli with corn , sometimes crabs. I never really wait too long to place an order and staff is genuinely nice. (It maybe a personal thing for me but I hate to hear their conversations about what's going on in their life especially with excessive cursing.)Other than that I love the seafood. I don't get anything fried bc by the time i get it home it won't be the temp I would like so again a personal thing but from what i hear it's pretty good. This place need to step it up!! Extra breaded seafood fried with vein in shrimp! The crabs are illegally small! Seafood connection is officially canceled since the re-opening. They used to be my go to spot but since the "remodel" things haven't been the same. Went in for NYE ordered they said 30-45mins... lie more like 1hour30 and after all the waiting my food was still rushed, not seasoned properly, veggies were not cooked fully or cut and my friend got the blue crabs and they were mushy and all customer service went out the window with the way they handled her. The 2 stars is simply for them being the only seafood place locally open normal business hours on the holiday but I will not go back after this. read more

this is the one and only place i come for blue crabs. the prices are surprisingly reasonable, and if your a serious crab eater you know how outlandishly expensive it can be ordering crabs around Philly. I used to take an annual trip (or two) down to Annapolis MD to get my fix of all you can eat crabs. after many years, I have since decided i'de rather call a few friends, grab a few brews, lay out some news papers and clear my schedule for the next few hours. you'll spend less, eat better, probably eat more and save a few hours of driving by ordering a bushel of crabs from this take out only gem. read more

Seafood connetion was always a great seafood place. What happened I just order the flounder platter and the fish was under cooked one of my crabcakes had a long uncooked piece of shrimp and the macroni salad was spoiled. I will never order from them again. So disappointed in you guys. You just stopped caring. read more
