the morning staff to the bakery and manager are terrible as well with service. Not friendly very rude and very ignorant. Bakery Manager spoke nasty about others. The cakes aren't fresh in the cases neither wanted to buy one of those strawberry shortcakes and a cake with cupcakes on top and the ticket was 3 days passed on one and the other was a week old. I placed a grocery order and got coffee creamer that was over a month expired, cracked eggs, and moldy strawberries. Worst part is I used to work this particular position at another acme years ago - so I can tell when things are not done right. This is the worst I've seen! If I could give 0 stars I would. This one is nowhere close to other Acme's near the area. This one needs to shut its doors. There produce is lacking, the fish and meat are not fresh. Shelves are under stocked. And they never have enough cashiers working. They should add a few self serve checkouts. I was in the 10 Items and under lane but the lady in front of me had over 200 worth of food. The only reason I would go to this location is because it is close. This place hasn't changed any. Unfortunately I had to stop here to pick something up quick. I was in the store 5 minutes and had the urge to go home and take a shower. Outside the parking lot has trash blowing around everywhere. On the benches out front there were birds everywhere eating from the trash that no one bothers to clean up. Their curbside is always ready before the promised time, but I always wait 20-30 minutes for them to bring it out. They don't answer the phones when you call. Corporate, this should tell you to staff this location better - give them the staff to provide prompt service!! read more

They serve raw rotisserie chickens. This place has way too many issues and I'd rather drive to a farther one than go here anymore. Over all a gross place that sells expired food most of the time too and is trying to cover up their issues with remodeling. read more

This place is the pits. Store opens at 7am. The lunch meat counter lights are out until after 8.30 am. like they don"t want to be bothered. Have to get another worker to go in the back & get someone to come out. Then only one person comes out from the back room. long lines. The cooked chicken is never out until after 10 30 am. We've been to this Acme several times since it opened. It seems like it is well stocked but customers and workers are pretty scarce so I don't know what the deal is there. We haven't had a bad experience there yet. Acme is not my usual choice for grocery shopping but once in a while, depending on what we need that week, we switch things up a bit and hit the Walmart in the same shopping center. Since we can't get fresh meats and veggies there, we also stop into this Acme. Unlike Katelyn M., we haven't had any problems with rude employees. I mean, if the cashier was busy cleaning her conveyor belt off, I wouldn't start loading my stuff onto it. Who knows what she was cleaning off of it - some kind of nasty meat juices or spilled juice, perhaps? Hey, I wasn't there, but try a little patience once in a while. Sheesh. Also, the produce that we have picked up on several occasions has been very fresh - we picked up a bunch of stuff the other night - they were having a buck a bag sale on the produce and we got some great deals. Katelyn M. is right about one thing though - if they don't get some more business, they won't be open for much longer. The Shop Rite (or whatever was in that space before the Acme) was never busy either. Makes me wonder where all the people in Boothwyn/Chi do their food shopping. read more

About 2 weeks ago I ordered a custom cake from the bakery. I went to pick it up today and they didn't make the cake. I asked how fast they could put the custom picture on a cake and the worker said "we don't even have a cake decorated." Don't order a cake from here if you actually want to pick it up. read more

Horrible horrible horrible. There are fruit flies flying around the produce. The meat section takes for ever. Literally do not come here if you want to just go in and out. It's over priced. Just save yourself the time and go to Giant. It's literally the worst Acme I've ever been too. They need to hire more staff. Check out always takes forever. read more

No self checkout lines!! No 10 items or less open and only 2 registers open total. According to Joanne the cashier there are only 2 scheduled because of the shortage of workers. Bottom line? Don't go here if you're looking to run in and out for a few things. Head 100 feet further and hit Walmart where at least self checkout is an option. Joanne says it's too costly to install self checkout but every other Acme in the area has them so what's more expensive? Installing self checkout or losing customers and getting bad reviews? read more

Are there negative stars to give this place ? The fat manager who obviously doesn't do squat all day but eat cheeseburgers needs to be fired . Clearly he's eating all the decent food that's delivered to this store . My husband was in there and has been having a lot of trouble with his asthma these past couple days pulled his mask down a little bit to take his inhaler and get some cold air and the manager made fun of the size of his nose . What a filthy store. I will never go back but if you go look around the floors are loaded with trash and dirt. How is this place still open? I would say I would just dump the cart more times then I would actually go Thur the ck out line. The reason?? Long lines and one cashier. No self ck out lanes. I leave the cart and go to the Aston Giant I use to feel bad but the last time I did it people standing in the long lines started laughing as I pushed the cart down the isle the cart was rolling one way I was going the other way towards the exit heading to Giant. Seriously.. if you must shop here, check your perishables, they're expired or expiring on the date of purchase at least a third of the time. I've never had issues like this at other stores. It's worth the drive to go elsewhere. read more

I miss the old Pathmark. This place is horrible. First problem is they only have 2 cashiers the two lines could be ten people per line you think they would open more lanes. Not here. And I understand this store in not located in a good area they have septa bus service to this shopping center and being at other Acmes they offer self check out isles. Not this place. Pathmark had them I guess that's why the closed up shop and rolled. I understand by have more cashiers. I walked out and won't be back. AMF!! read more

While waiting in line at the deli for 8-10 minutes with only 2 people at the counter another employee walked by twice to say someone would help me in a minute. No such luck so I gave up. Almost left my full cart behind but did not feel like driving elsewhere today. Greatest by a cashier with a nasty attitude to wrap up my trip. Wonder why Acme is heading down a path to bankruptcy, it is the quality of management and staff. read more

Ridiculously expensive prices. Most things here are double the price of what they would be elsewhere. I highly recommend going to the nearby Walmart to get many of the same things for much cheaper. Also, there is a major lack of variety. Most of the cashiers seem like they are emotionless robots and you're lucky if they even say hi to you. I worked at this ACME a while ago, so I know how boring it is, but that's no excuse to act like you hate the world when one of your duties as a cashier is customer service, but I guess they don't have training for that anymore. Speaking of cashiers, the incredibly high prices are certainly not reflected in the embarrassingly low number of cashiers who work at any given time. I can't even fathom how much the higher-ups must be making off of customers and cashiers alike. They couldn't be more blatant about wanting to announce that they don't give a single crap about their customers or employees, and care only about money money money. I recommend boycotting all ACMEs if you can. read more

Take the extra 10 mins and drive to the one in concord, everyone is so RUDE here and very unhelpful, I went today and the girl was cleaning her conveyer belt, didn't acknowledge me so I started putting my groceries down. She made me pick up my groceries and wait till she finished and gave me a very rude face. Never going here again. It's never busy I'm sure it will close soon anyways.
