Baby spinach salad with red beets, toasted pecans, feta and delicious. Very fresh. My friend had the swordfish and sweet potato fries and loved it. I had a bite and agreed. I had pan fried halibut with twice baked potato and coleslaw. Excellent. Our server was friendly, polite and informative. Service was prompt. It was a Tuesday evening and wasn't too crowded. Too many empty tables for such a fantastic restaurant. Manager stopped by to check on us in a very non confrontational manner. Looking forward to the lobster next time. read more

Wanted to love this place but it just didn't hit. It was just my husband and I for a reservation, dining room was not overly full & we waited 45 minutes for 2 appetizers. My friends had been talking about the lobster deal on Mondays and Wednesdays. I was finally able to join them. Yes, we drove all the way to Delaware from Baltimore for lobster. The place had some cute decor, dim lighting and music softly playing in the background. Everyone but one person ordered the lobster special, he ordered the steamed shrimp. I got wild rice and seasoned veggies for my side, they were ok. Lobster was good even though I struggled getting to the meat, it was a good experience and a great time. We went to dinner last night at Feby's for the first time in many years - and wow, were we disappointed! We arrived at 5:30 and the parking lot was less than half full with most people inside at the bar. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer, a crab cake dinner (two crab cakes) with the choice of roasted red bliss potatoes and a vegetable medley, and a crab imperial dinner with twice baked potato and vegetable medley, and a couple of beers. The calamari came and it was not bad, but we waited for our beers while our server held them while chatting with a table of regulars. Once our meals came, they were a huge disappointment! The crab cakes had a LOT of shells in them and they did not have much flavor. My meal came with red bliss potatoes and NOT the twice baked potato I ordered, and the crab imperial came in a sauté dish - tasted like canned crab - definitely not blue crab - a lot of butter but no "crab imperial sauce"!!! Typically crab imperial will have a sauce made from mayonnaise, egg yolks, some seasoning...there was none of that, just butter, and not even baked. Horrible! We did not bother our server who was quite busy with other tables and did not see a manager, so we paid and left. What has happened to Feby's??? Not the place I used to enjoy! read more

I don't know how we have not been here before. RJ bought grouper from the fish market 10 years ago, but we have never been to the restaurant. Huge mistake! Matt E was our server and he was friendly and efficient. We ordered the Poinsettia drink which was prosecco and cranberry, and vodka sprite. Matt brought fresh baked bread which was crunchy and warm. We started with the fried lobster tail, and we fought over every bite. It was large and juicy with a light, delicious coating. I ordered blackened grouper with lump crab, and he wanted chilean sea bass but they were out, so he went with the orange roughy. His was good, but my grouper was outstanding. The blackened seasoning had a kick, and the grouper was thick, flaky, and sweet with a hint of all the shellfish it ate before I ate it. We finished with a fantastic chocolate raspberry layer cake which was very fudgy and paired well with the raspberry. There is a nice bar on the way out. We asked if they had brunch but they do not. We wish they did as we are always looking for good brunch locations, but we will still be adding this to our list of favorites. read more

Came here tonight with visiting family. Lots of casual dining upstairs and downstairs. They weren't busy enough to open the upstairs. Lots of fresh fish options and you can have them fix it in a number of ways. Tonight I chose the blackened rockfish and lobster bisque to start. The bisque was puréed so fine that you couldn't detect any lobster chunks. It sounds weird, but the lobster bisque at Zoup is my gold standard. My guest had a delicious salad. When the main courses came, everything was great except the sweet potato waffle fries were not cooked well enough. They also put brown sugar on the sweet potato fries. It was overwhelming after a few of them. The waitress said next time to ask for them without brown sugar. The rockfish was flaky and flavorful and the fries with old bay were perfect. We enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. I reminds of one's of the old seafood restaurants in Baltimore. The wife started with Maryland Crab Soup (We're from Maryland so we know good seafood), she loved it, but I thought it was bland. We ordered the Mixed Appetizers (2 of each, Shrimp le jon, Oysters Rockefeller, Clam Casinos and Stuffed Mushrooms), I loved everything, but the stuffed mushrooms. The mushrooms could have been cooked a little more. It was too soft for me. On to the stars of the night, other than my beautiful wife. The wife ordered the Crab Ravioli was outstanding. The quality, the taste and the presentation was excellent (Check out the pictures). I ordered the Mixed Appetizers (2 of each, Shrimp le jon, Oysters Rockefeller, Clam Casinos and Stuffed Mushrooms) with coleslaw, mixed vegetables and we travel a lot and it's always hard to find a great Broiled Seafood Platter. We found one tonight this restaurant needs to in Maryland next to the water (Great Compliment). Onto the star of the night, it was outstanding. Pretty high hopes but for me is was a bit lackluster. Highs were service, desert and appetizers. Maryland crab soup had very little crab and did not seem to have any old bay seasoning. Kind of reminded me of Campbell's vegetable soup with a bit of crab put in. My entree, crab cakes again not that much crab and seemed to be mostly filler. Maybe me expectations were high after having crabcakes in Louisiana, and the stuffed potato was not exactly hot. The service was fine attentive and pleasant high marks here. They have seating at high to tables and regular tables that were clean and comfortable. I would give them another chance but order differently. read more

This is the second time in 2 months that we have ordered the Cioppino to go and it has been fabulous! It is a generous portion with plenty of little neck clams and calamari, mussels, fish and shrimp. The broth that it comes in is so flavorful and they give you enough even when doing take out! It is almost enough for two people! A fancy Sunday night dinner at home that you didn't have to cook! A lot of frozen stuff; used to work there. Nobody in the Fishmarket besides Tom, Steve, and Marquese know how to do their jobs and clean correctly. The owners son Chad Difebo is very disrespectful and rude to workers and customers. He is 45 years old and works for his dad still he would not make it outside of this business. I have been dying to eat some seafood and there aren't many places in the area. This place has a market & Resturant! The staff is great! Very friendly, helpful and very attentive! This place is pricey in some ways but you have to pay for good seafood I guess. The soups were a pretty small portion for $9 but very flavorful. The house roll was seriously what I would come back for. Toasted perfectly with rosemary. The shrimp was good but pretty small. The cocktail sauce tasted a bit like BBQ which was weird but not horrible. The crab clusters were good but one was over cooked which was a bummer considering the cost. The sides were great but small. Quick service by Sofia taking care of me at the bar on quiet Good Friday to start their afternoon. Took it easy with 2 dozen oysters on their usual Friday special, each for a dollar. Can't beat that. As much as I could just keep eating oysters all afternoon I decided to try their house made potatoe salad with mayo, eggs, celery, paprika to compliment the oysters. The oysters were large and flavorful; clean well and served on a bed of ice along with cocktail sauce that has a good blend of spices that doesn't taste like the usual sauces. The bar is a little tight so I was glad that I could grab a single seat at the bar before the lunch rush starts. Haven't been here in a long time. It was busy for a Wednesday. I got the fried oysters with sweet potato fries and veggies of the day. Oysters delicious and a good size portion. Cinnamon on the fries not my favorite but it's a matter of taste. The veggies were tasteless. The prices are very good for lunch with good size portions. Asked for salad in place of the sides but NO. If you're looking for fresh and tasty seafood; Feby's is the place to visit! It looks like parking is limited but there's plenty of it in the back of the restaurant. Inside of the restaurant you get a feel of the familial atmosphere with all of the pictures of what seem to be fishing trips and fun summers spent with friends and family. The service was amazing; Susan was bright, considerate and attentive to everyone's request. If I could give this review a 10/10 or 100 stars I would because she's truly a rockstar. A busy place, to be sure. On a trip from Florida to vermont, was recommended to us by our hotel guest. We opted for the appetizer mixed, which was pretty tasty. I also had a bowl of the mixed clam soup which was okay. My lamb chops were completely overdone, I asked for them rare and got well done. That is not good. Last night my husband, my twin and I celebrated Christmas early at Feby's. Since my sister was on vacation and she and I are lobster lovers, we both ordered the lobster special. My 1 1/2 lb lobster was so fresh, sweet, and tender! It was some of the best lobster I've ever had. It rivaled lobsters I've eaten in Maine and Massachusetts, including annual summer vacations on Cape Cod! The warm bread that came with our meal had melted butter and herbs on it--delicious! Long time customer, chances are I won't be back as the kitchen has some serious issues. Service is always good, however there has been a change in the kitchen and it's very noticeable. Seafood as always is good, however if you want a filet, they have no idea how to cook it any longer. Butterflied well done and it comes out almost blue, not once, not twice but 3 times? Apparently there is some kind communication issue in the kitchen as the server placed what was asked for. I will say also, the shrimp with my meal tasted fine, but they were very very small in comparison to previous meals and the side portions also now seem to be smaller. Feby's, this is your wakeup call you have been around for a long time and everything has always been excellent. Whatever you did in the kitchen needs to be fixed asap, otherwise you will not recover. read more

We got the the steamed sampler platter as well as the clam chowder and calamari appetizers- I'd highly recommend getting an appetizer & one of the samplers and splitting them both if you go with your partner or one other person! The crème brûlée was spectacularly light, yet rich - don't miss the fact that they use vanilla beans! I've lived near Feby's since 2018 and surprisingly just came here for the first time. I feel foolish. My husband and I came in for a week day lunch. I think there was only one other couple dining in and maybe some people at the bar. My husband had the crab cake sandwich and I had the fried shrimp. We both really enjoyed our meals. My husband had regular fries on the side. I had sweet potato fries and Cole slaw. I lovedddd the sweet potato fries. And I had cocktail sauce with my shrimp. Our server was very kind and attentive. Was shopping in BJs and wanted seafood, found this restaurant and decided to try after reading reviews on Yelp. The interior is nothing fancy, it's an open room with tables and chairs and fish on the wall with ocean pictures as well. Our server was very friendly and took our drink order. My suga woo ordered a gingersle which was horrible (I know right) our server was told and she immediately offered another beverage which was a good replacement. I ordered a house salad, shrimp platter with old bay fries and coleslaw. He ordered crab imperial with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. Omgoodness our food came out pipping hot and that won me over immediately. We asked for bread and that was even hot and so good. Our food was seasoned perfectly and the lunch portions were plenty.
