I have used American Smog for over 5 years for various services. The obvious service is a smog check. Others were diagnosing a problem with my vehicle, and repairing it. The service I find most helpful is the DMV services that they offer. I have registered my last 2 vehicles there. I have registered my father's vehicle there, and have gotten a non-op for another vehicle. The team, are efficient, friendly, and know what they are doing. I have never ever had a bad experience. There are fees for DMV services, but it is so worth it! No standing in line at DMV, no waiting for a number to be called and no wondering what the heck you're doing, because, American Smog has your back! Its an easy transaction, always. I have used this smog shop for 7 years now and won't get my vehicle smogged anywhere else. He's is fast, efficient and very affordable. Most vehicles are only $40 ($31.75 for smog and $8.75 for certificate). Plus one free retest if it fails. Ashley in the front office is always friendly. I have had several cars smogged here over the years. This last time, the technician advised me to have my fluids looked at soon because he could see there were a couple of leaks. I also had to pay my DMV registration and it was SO helpful for them to take care of it right there. They sent off my Smog test info and I walked out with my new sticker and registration. Worth every penny of the extra $20 fee to let them take care of the DMV part. Highly recommend American Smog! read more
