These guys were amazing. Memo, the attendant at the counter, really helped us out. He gave us a great deal and had our car running in a few short hours. We went in thinking we had one issue, the guys quickly diagnosed the problem (there was a short wait as they were quite busy that afternoon). We went in 3 hours before closing and the guys were able to diagnose our truck problem, get the part and stayed a little after closing to finish the work. They didn't make us wait till Monday (the next business day, as we went in Saturday afternoon), their goal was to get us back in our truck so we were not stranded for the rest of the weekend. This was my second experience with American Tire Depot and it was just as amazing the first time. Guys are super friendly and great with customers who are a bit stressed out. We will be taking our other truck in there right now to have them figure out what is going on with it as well. We have been to other mechanics that would have not been able to locate the parts we needed for days at a time. Being that this was our family vehicle it was important to us to get the truck fixed as soon as possible and though we never even pushed that issue the guys were amazing and had it done in just a few short hours. Don't let the name fool you, American Tire Pro does more than just tires. Call and see if they can help you with your next car problem. Before Coming in today I called the store and spoke with sales rep. Chris, asked him for a quote for a few services and answered all my questions gladly, and was very friendly! I decided at that moment to go in and get a few things serviced for my vehicle. As I arrived another sales rep. Guillermo helped me out and asked what I needed help with today, also very friendly! I asked him more questions about free services and discounts they offered as i was looking for a full car service, cabin and air filter, brakes, oil change, windsheild swiper blades and a maintence inspection and informed me that he would work with me to figure something out. Chris recognized my voice and asked if we had spoke earlier, surprised that he had remembered our conversation, I thanked him for being helpful over the phone. Uneasy about the total amount that it was going to cost to service my car under the circumstances of my financial status they suggested starting a credit line. As hestitant as i was at first i took a leap of faith applied and was approved! From beginning to end both chris and guillermo got me through it and worked with me to get what i needed done! Good and bad parts of this tire buying experience The good, I found my tires on their website cheaper than anywhere else, and they also promised me 4 legoland tickets and $15 off for scheduling online. The tires are great, the tickets arrived by mail 3 weeks later as promised. The bad, The 8:00 appointment I made two weeks out was worthless, because when I arrived the tires were not in stock, I wa told they would be there shortly and asked to wait by the GM. He explained he was off the day I ordered the tires and when he is off nothing works correctly. This obviously didn't make me feel better, long story short, I was pressured in to an alignment and tire pressure monitor system service, when I left in the car at 2:00 after waiting 6 hours, the tire pressure read as follows 35/48/32/36 all 4 tires different, none in spec with manufacturer psi. They also switched the monitors around so the car said right front was low, but it was really right rear... Seriously!?! And they obviously didn't touch my alignment, they also refused to give me the $15 off at this point I chuckled and walked away... Not worth the argument after waiting all day.. The price was right the service was bad, I paid for service I didn't receive and they couldn't even get tire pressure and alignment right after up selling me on the service.. read more

I had an absolutely terrible experience at America's Tires. The customer service was beyond disappointing, and the wait time was completely unacceptable. I was quoted one timeframe and ended up sitting there for hours with little to no communication about what was going on. No updates, no apologies -- just endless waiting. To make matters worse, the lobby was filthy. The floors were dirty, the seating area looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, and there were ants crawling around. Yes -- ants. It's hard to feel confident about a business handling your vehicle when they can't even maintain a clean waiting area. The staff seemed disorganized and indifferent, acting like my time didn't matter at all. What should have been a simple tire service turned into a frustrating, drawn-out ordeal. Watching employees move at a snail's pace while customers piled up in the lobby was incredibly aggravating. Between the extremely long wait, lack of communication, poor customer service, and unsanitary lobby conditions, this was one of the worst service experiences I've had. I will not be returning, and I definitely wouldn't recommend this location to anyone expecting timely or professional service. If I could give zero or negative stars I would, American Tires Depot doesn't even deserve one star! read more

Do not use this company! I called to get tires, transmission, differential, alignment, a window actuator installed. Jim the assistant manager ordered the wrong part had we wait a week to get back to me. He didn't take the time to check with the dealer until I asked and then still couldn't give an answer. They put the part on wrong, broke door seals, ruined my tint, the mechanic didn't know how to put automatic window back on. The tires were the wrong tires, tried to sell me 5 year old tires. Gave me all kinds of wrong information about tires and had my car for 3 days what should've taken 3-5 hours. Then my door popped out I took it back and popped out again and I saw they broke the clips and never replaced. I called and James the main manager gave me I'm sorry after costing me 2 days of work without any refund discount etc, I asked for the district manager to call me and I'm going on 7 days no call. Horrible service and work. I will never go back. I'm even paying more to have someone that can fix my door do it right! read more

I just purchased a full new set of tires from here. The workers were very friendly and answered every question I had. The salesman even endured my continual digging to make sure I wasn't getting cheated! I appreciate him working with me on prices and ended up walking out with a full set of 70,000 Goodyears with tire repair warranty as well as wheel alignment for less than $400.00. They diagnosed a few other issues for me as well: break light out, leaking power steering pump hose, worn out struts, etc... I did not have to wait at all to be served - the total time from start to finish was about 2 hours. Took a little bit longer than expected, but part of that was because I added the alignment My first interaction was with a man who called me on his personal cell phone three hours after they closed and spoke to me about my tire need. These guys are the best! My son in law borrowed my car to get all of his stuff up to Leemoor NAS, and got a flat. I actually needed 4 new tires, was holding off. So I start calling tire stores, but nobody would take my credit card over the phone, fax, internet, etc. I noticed an American Tire Depot in Hanford, and realized we has one here, in nearby Lancaster. I spoke to Bill, the store manager in Lancaster and explained my dilemma. He makes a call to his boss, talks to Steve the manager in Hanford to determine his stock and coordinate things, and fixes me up! I drive a few miles to his shop, pay for the tires, and he facilitates the inter-store issues so my son in law can just drive in after work and get them installed. In an age where most workers simply find the easy way to say NO, these guys found the way to YES. That is excellent customer service! And they had the tires I wanted at a fair price. read more

Free services are always appreciated. I went in to get my tires balanced--just the front because the shaking seemed to come from there. I had recently acquired the car and did not know where its tires were bought. The balancing would have been free if the tires had been bought there, but they were not, so far as I knew. I was quoted a price, and okayed the work. I had to complain to the technician when he started to remove the rear tires as well. He had orders from Steve though, so I complained to Steve. Steve told me he wanted to do a thorough job, and not to worry about the cost--not only would there be no cost for the additional wheels there would be none at all. He wanted me as a future customer. It will be a good investment on his part when I need tires again, for any of my cars. I have to believe I will be treated fairly based on his sense of generosity. read more

I used to deal with Randy, who was great. I was sad to know he had left and I had to deal with this guy (who's name I will not mention), who was there temporarily until they got a new manager. I must say I was not happy with the way he handled my car. I chalked it up to the fact that he was there temporarily, but I was seriously not going to go back to American Tire Depot because of him. My car was fixed during the transition to new manager, so I had to deal with Guillermo when the work done originally on my car faltered. I took my car in with apprehension, but the new manager Guillermo was very polite, and accommodating. He got my car running beautifully again and got me a better deal on the factory part that I would have originally wanted - had I been given the option before - and now I am a happy customer! I dropped off my car at American Tire Depot for an inspection and was told I would receive a call with a quote. That call never came. I had to reach out multiple times myself, only to get no real answers. When I finally stopped by the store in person, they had already closed, leaving my car locked inside without giving me any update, estimate, or communication. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Customers deserve timely updates, transparency, and basic communication, especially when leaving a vehicle in your care. Instead, I was inconvenienced and left without my car. I expected better from a business that advertises itself as customer-focused. If you value professionalism and accountability, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere until this location takes responsibility and improves its customer service. read more
