I had a really positive experience here. Christopher at the front desk was amazing--super helpful, honest, and easy to talk to. The auto technicians were also very professional and took great care of my car. I came in for a tire rotation, and they did everything thoroughly. They also pointed out that my front two tires are worn down and explained my options clearly without any pressure. I appreciated that they were upfront and honest instead of trying to upsell me. I drive an all-wheel drive vehicle, so I know I'll eventually need to replace all four tires. I just couldn't do it right now for financial reasons, but they were completely understanding and still treated me with respect. I'll definitely be coming back when I'm ready, and I would recommend this place to anyone. It's hard to find shops that are this honest and customer-focused. read more

Really convenient to get the alignment done at the same time. Also, I brought my Equinox EV here to get a tire rotation and to rebalance the wheels. They did a fine job and did not take long. Apparently appointments don't make much difference here at American tire depot. Made an appointment for 2:20 and it took almost 2 hours to do an oil change. When I complained at the counter, the guy at the counter became very irate and defensive. Try to talk over me to say this is how appointments work "there was somebody ahead of you" so you have to wait. If that's how they handle their appointment that is fine. however, somebody who services customers, he needs to explain in a calm voice, and if the customer is not satisfied. He should leave it at that. I told him I feel disrespected, and he tried to argue that that's not disrespectful. When I told him I wanna to end the conversation and just get the work done. He claimed that I was being disrespectful. I had to walk away, cause he was starting to cause a scene. On top of that, he forgot to give me my tire key so I had to go back in and get it from him. read more

I forgot homeboys name but he let me keep the car there overnight because they didn't have my tire. The next morning they gave me a courtesy text saying it my ride was ready. Please avoid this place, time after time I've experienced several service issues. From oil changes, a broken cv axel when they replaced my control arms, tire rotation and balance without using weights at all. I continue to go back thinking it was just an honest mistake, but service quality hasn't improved. This past Sunday 5/3/26 I explained to the Sale person that I wanted an oil change and for them to check the alignment. I get a call 2.5 hours later and was told they recommend a tune up ( spark plug change) and new tires because of uneven wear and tear and cabin air filter because it was really dirty. I show up to pick up my vehicle and I ask questions about the uneven wear of the tires, which he said I probably need an alignment. I told him, didn't you guys do my alignment like I requested and he said, oh yes. I ask for the print out and he told me to wait. He came back and I was told the mechanic didn't do my alignment like I had requested and I would need to wait another 30 minutes. Finally they finish my vehicle and I leave to get on the Fwy. While on the Fwy I noticed my car hesitating when trying to accelerate. I get off the Fwy to check what is wrong with my car and my car won't start. Now I'm stranded off the 60fwy. I called back to talk to the sale person about my issue and instead of trying to help he spend more time defending his shop and mechanics. He tells me that I need to tow my vehicle to the shop and they will look at the problem. Not having enough money for a tow truck, I decided to call my mechanic ( for a fee). Two hours later my mechanic drove to my location and discovered the mass air flow sensor was disconnected. He said the mechanic who checked the engine filter forgot to reconnect the sensor which is why my car was having problems. I called the salesperson and told him about my mechanic findings. I told the sale person I was contacting corporate and he told me he will let his boss know as well and I should be getting a call. It's been two days and I haven't received any call. I hate giving businesses bad reviews, but I think this is a serious problem which can potentially put people's life at risk. It starts with small mistakes and eventually it could lead to someone forgetting to tightening your lug nuts on your wheels. Management and corporate need to do an audit of this location in Montebello. read more

Girlfriend frantically scoured Yelp for a place to plug a nail in her tire she didn't even know she had until her tire pressure light came on once she arrived home. Given our usual spot - Ken's tires - was closed, distressed is only a tenth of how I could have described my girlfriend as she prepared for her busy week ahead. Fortunately after calling 30 minutes before close, the very kind gentleman at Tire Depot had her car tire plugged and fully topped off with air and out with 5 mins to spare before closing.
