Really happy with the professional service received by Efrain at this location. I got my oil changed here at a decent price. I will be coming back again to have more car work done, brakes etc. It is very hard to find someone who isn't trying to rip you off when you walk into a mechanic shop because you are a female and they assume you don't know what an oil change costs, I've been to a few... Efrain and his team trustworthy and respectful. This will now be my regular go to spot for all my car needs, I highly recommend this auto shop. read more

I visited the shop to get my brakes and tires changed and was assisted by Efrain. I was very pleased with the results when my car was returned to me, it felt as smooth to drive as the first day I purchased it. Efrain is an extremely professional and respectful individual and he was very informative when making recommendations based on the diagnostics. I've been to several Honda service centers in the past and I feel like they always pushed products I didn't need just to get a sale. I felt immensely comfortable with Efrain because he took the time to show me the wear and tear on my car and pointed out what needed to be fixed. I took my car there for brakes, Efrain the owner told me my tires, my oil and the timing was off and the car would leave me stranded. He wanted to charge 1,900.00. He lies to customers about things your don't need done on you ur car. read more

A couple of months ago I was in the market for tires. An auto body shop owner recommended this place after saying to me, "Efran is a really good guy, I send my daughters there". I took his advice and came to J&E to get a quote on replacing all 4 tires. I did some comparison shopping and went to several other tire places ranging from small mom & pop shops to big chain shops. One of the shop owners asked me how much I was looking to spend and when I gave him J&E's price he was shocked. Needless to say, I drove back to J&E and had all 4 tires replaced. I've continued to come back here for tire rotations and synthetic oil changes because they have great prices and stellar customer service. Plus, I just found out they do brakes so I will definitely be back soon! read more

I was super impressed with Efren. My engine light was on and all I needed was an oil change. He took care of it, topped all my fluids and checked my tires. Who does that nowadays. Nice friendly clean place as well which shows a persons character. A sloppy dirty place is unimpressive. read more

My first review I've ever written in Yelp. I'm am thoroughly impressed with the personal service, professionalism, and courteousness of the employees with this shop. I'm am from Orange County and had to make an emergency stop at J & E to get a tire replaced on our way up to our trip to Lake Casitas. The moment we arrived we were approached and offered help. I pointed out our tire and he got to work right away. We offered a place to sit and even Ice cold drinks. 92 degrees today! He was quick and even offered to check the rest of our tires to make sure we would be ok for the rest of our trip up to the lake. Thank you J & E. I will definitely be making my way back from OC when I'm ready for a full set of tires or full service on my Jeep. read more

I replaced it and it persisted so I bring it here. They took a look at it and let me know my car needed a valve cover replacement, new spark plugs, and to replace the sensor I had just replaced. There might have been more but this was almost a year ago so I don't exactly remember everything we did. Fine, I trust them because this place has been highly reviewed and it seemed very professional. So I spent about $1500 on repairs. Maybe a week later the same code comes on so I'm confused. I take it back to them and it takes days for them to get to the car because their "diagnostic tech" is really busy. Fine. So they call me and tell me that the code I'm getting is because my timing chain is fucked and it's going to cost $4500 to fix it... Which I don't have. So I sit on it for a few days while I see if I can come up with the money or what I'm going to do, before they threaten to charge me a storage fee for having my car with them. Fine, I understand they don't have all the space in the world. So I get to the shop pay their $150 diagnostic fee and try to take the car. The battery is dead. They gave me a jump and I drove home but there was no check engine light. I found it weird and thought it was a fluke. Long story short I replaced the battery, battery cable, oil, alternator and the car is just fine. I've been driving it for almost 8 months. I put in maybe $500 in parts. While I am trying to figure out what the problem is I message them and ask if they charged the battery, or if the battery died on them at all. No answer despite multiple messages. And this is what bothers me you have no problem messaging me multiple times to threaten me with fees but can't respond to one simple message. My point is this shop is shady. They wanted to upsell me on expensive repairs I didn't need. Now I'm not even sure if I truly needed those $1500 in repairs the first time. How do I know it was an upsell? The guy who gave me my car back said, "we just go based on what the scanner says." And that's when I knew this shop sucked. Why would I be charged a ridiculous $150 fee for you to scan my car? Personally that doesn't seem like diagnostic work (at least a proper one). I feel like some of the things I discovered on my own an experienced mechanic would have found. The car had an electrical problem. In between those two visits I took another car to them to see if they could do a transmission drain and fill. I put that in the appointment request and I made the appointment days in advance. When I get there they say they can't work on the car because it has a lot of miles on it, which again is fine but why are you making me waste my time and bring my car to you if you aren't going to work on it. Do you not have someone who checks the following days' appointments? Why does your website allow me to make the appointment if it doesn't meet your shops criteria. All in all I say stay away and find a place with honest mechanics.

I took my truck in to diagnose for an ac evaporator failure. There vacuum test pass so then they…read morerefilled my Freon and sent me on my way. I paid for the Freon gas that had a fluorescent dye in case it leaks the next day. The next day my refrigerant was empty again and I took it back and they found the leak behind my dashboard. Which meant the whole dashboard needed to be taken off to replace the AC evaporator. They gave me their bid and a turnaround time of about a week since they wanted to make sure the job was done correctly. On top of that they found that my brake pads needed to be replaced which i let them replace. Overall I didn't go with them for the ac evaporator job since I found another shop that was cheaper and gave me a faster turn around time, however I felt that they were honest and genuinely tried to help me. Nothing bad to say about this shop.

Today, we got four wheels on my wife's car done, all with curb rash to a varying degree and the result was great. The challenge today wasn't the damage, it actually wasn't super complex or extensive. It was the color. From the factory, the color is pretty unique, but the Dr. Wheel team got it pretty much exactly. A special shout out to Jonathan, who came out to our house twice and did a great job. Friendly, professional, thorough, and just an all around solid dude. Not that I hope to get more curb rash on any of our wheels (nor do I wish that for you!), but if we do, we will definitely go back to them. We've already referred them to a few neighbors.
