Horror story with Riley's!!…read more *** DISCLAIMER. I REALIZE THESE ARE USED APPLIANCES WITH SOME RISK. THAT IS NOT MY ISSUE HERE**** I bought used appliances back in December 2021. They were initially delivered Dec 9th. I bought the appliances because I had a new tenant from out of state and she had been living in a hotel with a new job and basically had no furniture no appliances. Nothing to speak of. When I reached out to Riley's they were very helpful at getting me a decent not great price on the refrigerator, washer, and dryer. You can note the prices in my screenshot. The horror begins approximately 14 months later. THE WASHING MACHINE FAILS FEBRUARY 11, 2023 I call Riley's and they go to the house. Chris calls me and tells me they couldn't work on it that day because they need a special tool that they didn't have with them, and that tool is at the shop. He told me they would return the following day. That isn't what happened. They went back that day and picked up the washing machine, repaired it and delivered it back the next day without ever telling me anything. They charged me a pick up fee, a delivery fee, as well as parts and labor for a grand total of $255 on a used $320 machine that broke after one year! The only time I was informed of anything is when the bill came. Which I paid!!! I was not happy about it and let Teresa know. She told me Chris would call me that afternoon. He never called! THE STORY DOES NOT END HERE!! July 2023 the washer fails again, I call them up. They do go out for free, I will give them that, and tell me that it's going to be probably $400 to repair!!! Along with a pick up and delivery fee!! When I am speaking to Teresa on the phone she tells me it just isn't even worth it to fix it, I agree and tell her it wasn't worth it the last time in February. she replies yes it was. I responded with $255 to repair a $320 machine that is not worth it. THE BEST PART!!!! Teresa then tells me. I DON'T WANT YOUR BUSINESS!!! she hangs up She didn't need to convince me to try her business again or to convince me not to use it. It is a no brainer. I only hope that others will take my experience and maybe decide for themselves. Do they want to be told by Riley's "I don't want your business"

I ordered items that needed to be installed on my car. I made the appointment for installation a…read morelittle farther out than usual because of the item availability being long enough that it conflicted with a trip. The salesperson assured me that the items would be there, ready to install on the appropriate day. They were sent back because I didn't pick them up (while out of town per my previous conversation with the store). I'm not allowed to call the store, which I would have done quickly enough to have them hold the items, because they don't allow calls directly into stores. No one in customer service seemed interested in helping fix the problem that they caused. I was on the phone for over two hours with people who weren't focused on customer service at all. It was the worst customer service experience I have ever had.

This store was and is very poorly run, management of the Patio & Garden (Eric) is rude, our order…read more(which we spent a lot of money on all) was good, but the last part of the order has been late for several days, 5+. When we call or stop by, it is blamed on UPS, which Home DePot refers to as the Vendor. Eric could have cared less and wasn't interested in finding out why our order was late or when it was going to arrive. When I received the tracking #, I did in fact call UPS to find out why our order was delayed. My point is that Home DePot should have been finding out why our order was late, where it was at, when it was going to be delivered to Home DePot, and not the customers. I told Eric, a very rude and condescending man, I was going to make it known the poor experience we have endured all week with Home Depot (Patio & Garden), and he said since I was "threatening", he hung up on me. All I said was I was going to make it known the poor experience. Guess he can't handle when they're wrong and rude as well. This is the second bad experience with Home DePot. We will never, ever do business with them again. UPS was very helpful. Once Corporate opened, I did inform Ricardo of the Corporate Office of the treatment we've received, especially from Eric. We still have not received our completed order yet. Oh, and Home Depot should let customers know before purchasing they deliver to your property such as the driveway, but are not allowed inside or around the property, even if it is heavy such as our order and appliances. You are on your own. UPDATE: May 19, 2025: Since we were told we would be notified when our order came in and it was supposed to be today according to UPS, not Home DePot, of course, I called at 2:00 Central Time, and the clerk at the front desk said our order has been sitting in a corner at the Customer Service Desk for the last two hours, so around noon. She "found" a note that said to call, text, or email us to notify us our order was ready for pick up and none of these were done. Once again, I had to call. I'll be so glad this is the last time we ever step foot in this store again.

Two words: Bed bugs! I had bedroom furniture with mattress and box spring brought into my home and…read more2 days later I started itching and noticed red dots all over me. I thought it was hives until I was making my bed and noticed a small black speck on my pillow. That speck was a bug! I called Easy Home and told them what I found and they said there was no way it came from them. I said yes it did because the duplex I just moved into had NOTHING in that bedroom and I talked to the previous tenants and they said they never had bed bugs. So then I called an exterminator to confirm my suspicions and he said that those bugs were probably living in the wood creases. So I called Easy Home back and found out that the bed and mattress and box spring were previously used....OMG!!! Then I asked to see a report where they did a bed bug inspection when the furniture came back to their store, because I picked out the bed off the show room floor. They couldn't provide me with such document. I told them I wanted the furniture out of my house. They wouldn't come get it because of the bed bugs. I said you guys are the ones who sold me this furniture that already had them in there which has been confirmed by the exterminator due to the amount of bugs that were there and the "nests" they had made! Then I got nasty and had to call my lawyer who advised me that if they can't provide me with the document that no bed bugs were present when the furniture is returned then Easy Home is responsible for the removal of furniture and treatment. And guess what, removal of furniture and $1,000 bed bug removal treatment is what I got because I threatened a law suit. My advice, don't rent furniture PERIOD! I will NEVER do it again!!!
