My friend had a blow out with one of her tires on a road trip to Arizona. I was able to reach Juan and let him know what my friend was dealing with while not having a spare in good shape or any experience changing tires. He immediately got out to the I-5 south where she was located and towed her back to shop. He went and checked out the rest of tires and recommended changing out all but one tire as she just had a new one put on due to flat tire two weeks ago. We took his recommendation and he put three new tires on the car with sensors. He took it a step further and while test driving it he saw she had a problem with her turn signals so he fixed that at no charge. The price he charged us was extremely fair. We were on our way to Sacramento from Murrieta and got a S hook stuck in my rear tire driving on hwy 5 N. Mike from AAA was so kind and took us here to get the tire repaired since this family owned shop is open the latest in the area. Juan was able to get our tire fixed and did such a great job on patch plugging it. If you need to replace your tires/rims he also has many to choose from but it's always good to just call ahead to make sure they have exactly what you want. Also, I wasn't planning on getting my windows tinted but Juan offered such a great deal; way better than the Bay Area quotes. The window tint he offers is a ceramic Solar Guard lifetime warranty with different tint shades to choose from. I got ceramic tint 5% rear and 35% front, my car looks 10x better! Lastly, Liz his wife has her homemade candles sold at the shop and they smell soo good, it's a must to get one either for your home, car or both! My car showed an emergency sign saying that there was a malfunction with my battery and my car would shut down at any moment unexpectedly. I took my car to NAPA to check the battery and alternator and my alternator wasn't holding charge. I had to take it to an auto shop but non of the auto shop had alternators in stock. So I went to AUTOZONE to pick up an alternator. Not once did anyone ask to check my car to see if I needed to get an alternator change or if something else was wrong with my car. I went to Guzman but they couldn't help me because the owner wasn't there to calculate the labor cost. I waited at Vega for 10 minutes while the lady in the front was trying to get off the phone with a friend who happened to start helping her figure out how to open an adobe doc so I walked out. When I finally stopped by American Tires the two gentleman asked me how did I know it was the alternator. They took a look at my hood and said I was missing a serpentine belt. Instead of a $500 fix it only cost me $95 in labor and $11 for the belt (which I purchase at AUTOZONE) They were honest and did the job quickly. read more

Imagine being in the middle of nowhere on I5 on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend at 8 pm and hitting a pothole that decimates your tire. That sucks, right? Now imagine your car doesn't have a spare (yay, fancy German engineering!) so you're literally stranded halfway between home and your destination. Worst place to take your car Juan and his assist Cali are both untrustworthy. They took my money and put 235/45/17 in the front and 225/45/17 in the back they were supposed to do a synthetic oil change it never was done alignment also wasn't done! When I confronted them they both were blaming each other , they refused to make it right or refund me so I had to resource time this leaving an honest review to let other people know these guys are thieves !!! If u get a flat on the interstate 5 going north DO NOT GET TOWED HERE !!!! My husband selected this business to replace a windshield so we would not have to go out of town to do it. Dropped off my vehicle on a Weds, when the owner said he could do the job and processed the insurance claim. Multiple calls for follow ups with no responses, gave him some space because it seemed like he had a lot of other jobs and appears to work alone. A couple days later I mentioned my situation to a co worker who shared her bad experience also. Needless to say I should of pulled my vehicle out that shop as soon as possible. Today 7 days later I stopped by and my car was in same place with windshield still not replaced. I don't know much about this business man but for sure he might be bitting more than he can chew. He has multiple jobs lined up or just a lot of vehicles in his premises and outside. My recommendation is don't use this shop unless you have another vehicle to get around with. I was driving on the I-5 back to L.A. over Christmas break. A rock hit my windshield. The 1-inch crack grew to 18-inches. I was nervous it was going to shatter while I was driving. I pulled off the freeway to Coalinga. The Auto Zone referred me to American Wheel & Tire. Luckily, they had my windshield in stock and would take 90 minutes to install. The owner (?) calmed my nerves. He was done within an hour and I was back on the road. He left the tape on the seal for additional safety because I was going to be driving at high speed. Im from seattle,wa. I was on a road trip to go see a friend in costa mesa. I was so close. .. But on i5 one of my tires blew. Almost crashed. Scary. After putting our spare on we knew it was unsafe to drive on it for too long and that we needed a good tire. We called around to a couple of tire places who were not helpful at all. On a trip up north to see my sister who was in town for a night, I ended up getting two flat tires! Yes two! Both were the same tire location so it seems that my spare had an issue with it. So there I was going up the 5 at 70 MPH and I get my first flat. I manage to swerve my way over to the shoulder and call AAA to get some help since I didn't have my jack with me. This was around 6 pm and I had to wait 45 minutes to get help. First flat changed, I am told to go to the next gas station to check the air pressure of the tire that was just changed. Make it to the next gas station and the air pressure machine is broken- just my luck! Then drive to the next gas station which was 30 miles away since I was literally in the middle of nowhere. Half way there, my newly changed tire gets a flat and I limp the rest of the way to a gas station to not be out at night in pitch black night with semi trucks zooming by me. At this point it was 8:30 and would need to buy a new tire since I was all out of flats. AAA looked up places nearby since now they couldn't help me by just changing the tire. They gave me the number of this guy named Juan would was in a nearby town and would have a tire that fit my car. If not I would have to get towed somewhere or spend the night there and miss my opportunity of seeing my sister while she was on the west coast. Juan was very nice over the phone and helped me think through my situation providing options of what he could do. I ended up agreeing to buy two tires and they would drive out to me to help get the rims and load the tires. I figured 2 tires was a better idea than 1 since with my track record that day, I would be prepared if I had a third flat! I had to wait over an hour, but Juan arrive and put a spare on my car so I could drive my car to his shop to get the new tires on. I must say that at this point I was super frazzled from having had two flats on a super fast highway with semis all around me and having barely made it to safety. I was also traveling by myself so there I was in both instances with a tire thumper in my right hand ready to strike to protect myself. I agreed to drive to his shop and he drove slowly in front of me to show me the way. He was with his cousin who was a younger man and both were very friendly. Juan was very caring making sure I was ok and was probably picking up my hesitation and level of stress. He offered to have someone drive the car if I was too frazzled, but I drove. When we arrived, the shop was closed so they had to go in and turn on the lights and open the garage door in order to get the tools and tires set up. I have to say that at this point I was still super nervous wondering if I was getting taken for a ride or robbed or something. Again this was all just in my head and what one thinks when traveling alone and going to very remote areas with people you don't know. I couldn't help but be hyper alert and ready to run if I needed to. They mounted the tires super quick and got me on the road within the hour. They were really nice guys and took every measure possible to make me feel comfortable and safe. They really saved the day going above and beyond since this was way after hours and they had to interrupt what they were doing to come help me.
